What a comeback! Totally the café where you want to be! During the day and in the evening. Good music! Great atmosphere! The place to be!

Café De Hollande is and remains a nice café on the corner of the market in a beautiful, characteristic building, but unfortunately, it no longer reaches the level of a few years ago. While it used to be known for its crowds and extensive beer menu, that liveliness is now less palpable, and the selection of specialty beers has been significantly scaled back, with only a few options instead of the wide variety of the past. Duvel on tap has unfortunately disappeared, and that feels like a missed opportunity for enthusiasts who came specifically for that. Nevertheless, it remains a cozy café in a prime location where you can sit comfortably for a drink, but the prevailing feeling is that it could achieve much more than what is currently being realized.

Outside seating is a bit loud but keep in mind the town square is hoping at night. Burger was just ok however the fries and cappuccino were delish!

Years ago when I lived in Holland, I found this little gem of a place in Sittard. It very quickly became my favourite place and that’s where I spent the most of my weekends. If I’m ever back in the country, this will be the first place I’ll go. Top notch! 👍🏻

Very cozy cafe at the market in Sittard. Among other things, a diverse and changing offer of specialty beers, and if you are lucky, they are served by the happiest barmaid of the entire Markt Sittard.

Great local bar thats very friendly. Beers are fresh and delicious. The outside terrace is sunny and warm. You can order food from next door delivered to the bar. Its a fun place. They also have a TV for sports.
