Brown bread can't be served with the fondue, according to the manager, it was already a cheap deal. Really unfriendly to customers.

The atmosphere is great. Good music from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. Informal furnishings. Artistic decoration. Small detail. On the website, I read that they had vegetarian sausages. Unfortunately, they weren't. I'd love to have them in the future. Perhaps you could let us know when booking?

A wonderful cafe. With several delicious daily specials. Now, every Monday during the fall/winter, they have a stew night. Highly recommended! A good meal and drink for under 10 euros.

Went here for the special stamppot evening. Fantastic! It's amazing how such an entrepreneur manages to bring a café and a luxury restaurant together for one evening. Hopefully, future editions will be just as successful. Otherwise: friendly staff and a wide selection.

Great place, we've become regulars! The welcome is warm and the food quality exceeds expectations. Generous portions, and they even serve a well-rounded glass of wine. So glad we discovered this cozy eatery!

The cheese fondue is absolutely delicious, along with tasty rolls and salad, and a nice extra: raw vegetables. Skuumkop on tap, always good. Friendly service, though it only took 45 minutes for it to arrive, and it's a truly rustic pub. Plus: you can still play darts if you're feeling up to it.

Accidentally ended up here with a friend, but was surprised by the professional staff! The staff is spotless! Wonderful help and amazing service! They know how to treat people here! The restrooms are also spotlessly clean, as if they've never been used! Beautiful place! Highly recommended.

We had a delicious cheese fondue there.

Cozy pub, nice to come. Fairly strict age control! (I like) Nice bartender...especially that one 😍 and they don't mind if you want a cup of tea at 1am. Food is definitely recommended, nice price for a tasty meal. New favorite, the non-alcoholic cocktails! Delicious!

Via social media voorbij zien komen, onbeperkt tapas eten met dessert voor 25 euro in een gezellig cafe in Haarlem. Wat hebben wij heerlijk gegeten, alle gerechten waren lekker. Grote porties, heerlijk bereidt en zeer vriendelijke bediening. Het enige minpuntje was dat na het bestellen van ons dessert de bediening terug kwam en melde dat het dessert niet bij de prijs inbegrepen was. Had dat dan gelijk gezegd bij het bestellen. Dit neemt niet weg dat de desserts lekker waren.

It is a nice place to have a drink. They have a terrace, perhaps the little thing to improve is having some cheap blankets for the terrace. Correct prices. The two guys working that night have been kind to us.

Nice restaurant in a cozy extension of a café. Because of the low ceiling it quickly sounds noisy. Delicious cheese fondue, multiple flavors and additions possible. Portion of vegetables could be a bit larger and also add brown to bread.

Although the offering is not exactly vegan-friendly, I felt welcome because of how they thought along to be able to serve our group. Nice staff who understands catering. Decent beer selection (although some nice porters, stouts and cherries would be a good addition), clean toilets and a pleasant atmosphere. I think I will come back next time I am in Haarlem.

Service is friendly, but portions are small, sometimes too small, tasty, but not particularly tasty. Cheese fondue is okay. Quite nice for once...

Ended up here with Social Deal for the cheese fondue. Delicious! You will receive your own pan that is heated by a tea light. Are you out of sandwiches and vegetables? Then you can request additional information free of charge. As a starter we shared some bread, mushrooms and bitterballen. Delicious! For dessert we had the brownie and the crème brulee. The brownie was disappointing; dry, not creamy and not warm. The creme brulee is too small for the price. The desserts are very overpriced (€7 each!!). Friendly service, good atmosphere, delicious food, but the prices of the desserts are not in proportion to the rest.

We went in the bar to play dart(we are foreigner) Some of the guys in here move there table very nicely so we can play; but the barman told us it was impossible because they were waiting for customers and dart is dangerous with customers apparently… the thing is, the bar was half empty. Don’t go there if you are not from haarlem

Heerlijk ongedwongen lekker zachte mooie spare ribs. Vriendelijke mensen en met een mooie knipoog voor humor. Ik kwam voor een snelle hap en ff door werken. Maar het werdt een zeer geslaagde avond zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Coming to dinner with a social deal, allergies were taken into account. We had the spare ribs, really phenomenal, I am a chef myself and am not from here, but would take the train, takes me 1.5 hours, to eat here again. Very smooth service, very good spare ribs, nice atmosphere, would definitely come here again and recommend friends to go here. Price quality top, beers a bit on the expensive side, but the small starters and good price main course make up for this.

Via social deal zijn we bij de Langer Heer gekomen. Echter onze ervaring was slecht. Het nagerecht, een crème brûlée was de helft kleiner als mensen aan een andere tafel die geen coupon hadden en ik betaalde wel de volle prijs voor het nagerecht!! Bij navraag kreeg ik het antwoord “we hebben het druk”. Hallo, of je nu een kleine of een normale portie klaarmaakt??? Nee, ze wilde toch geld verdienen aan mij op een verkeerde manier en ik kom er nooit meer terug. Bovendien was het zeer rommelig en harde muziek…..

Gezellige café, lekker dicht bij het station

Fijn café, gezellige sfeer, aardige medewerkers, val bij station. Er is ook er ook een zitje buiten alleen valt daar niet zoveel te beleven omdat het een rustig straat is en aan de overkant is een parkeergarage.

Het meest gezellige café van Haarlem! Tafelvoetballen, darten, muziek maken, schaken of gewoon gezellig bier drinken, alles kan in De Lange Heer :) Stamppot eten op maandagen in de winter en pasta in de zomer is ook top. Aanrader!
