While waiting for a train, we came here for a drink and ended up staying to drink more. We took a later train… Anyone who doesn't want to have a good time shouldn't come here.

Ir was one of the chillest and best bar i‘ve been in a while, abd i am from Germany. The Bartender was sooo cool. You have to experience this atmosphere.

Stranded at Haarlem station after a night of heavy drinking: phone dead, no one reachable. Here I got to recharge, have a drink, and meet lovely people. Night saved. Great spot and great people. 10/10. 🍻

Always a welcoming reception at De Lange Heer! Friendly and very attentive staff. Due to the heat, it was nice and cool in the restaurant. We could have eaten on the terrace too, but found it still too warm for that. All three of us were really craving the spareribs again. These were served with fresh, crispy, seasoned fries, two sauces, and a bowl of mixed salad. The meat on the spareribs is butter-soft and falls right off the bone. Absolutely top-notch; the meat is glazed and deliciously seasoned. Highly recommended!

Cozy alternative cafe with fine beers

Very annoying and harassing crowd. There are plenty of nicer places in Haarlem where everyone can feel welcome. The staff is nice, though they could intervene a bit more often when their regulars misbehave.

Too many unpleasant things happen here. I used to come here often, but I increasingly get an unsafe and unpleasant feeling in this pub :( The bar staff is mostly top-notch, but the crowd that comes to this place is absolutely nothing to write home about. In the future, I and the regular group I hang out with will try to avoid this place; I think it would be good advice for many people to do the same.

The atmosphere is great. Good music from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. Informal furnishings. Artistic decoration. Small detail. On the website, I read that they had vegetarian sausages. Unfortunately, they weren't. I'd love to have them in the future. Perhaps you could let us know when booking?

Walked in a bit unexpectedly with a friend; normally not at all what we would go for, but the atmosphere was incredible! We truly had the night of our lives. What incredibly sweet and friendly people here. Both the staff and the people there themselves. We will definitely be back! ☺️

We were ripped off big time at this cafe yesterday!! Ordered 1 wine at 9 pm and 49.50 was debited!!! A friend who was with me had to pay twice earlier in the evening!!!! Absolutely scandalous!!!!

We once again enjoyed the delicious cheese fondue and spareribs. The atmosphere is very special. Small tables and newspapers on the wall with unique artwork in between. You have to like that sort of thing. But we do. The service is quick and friendly. A solid 10.

And another delicious stamppot takeover! This time from Ratatouille, chef Joshua Jaring has created a beautiful combination of three classic dishes with a new twist. With a homemade meatball, the classic Hema sausage, and delicious Wagyu, it was a truly delightful combination. What a pleasant surprise: the stamppot menu in collaboration with Restaurant Truffels. A lovely combination of a delicious cheese board, the truly delicious stamppot (with the homemade smoked chorizo ​​sausage coming highly recommended), and a dessert to die for. And the price is truly exceptional. This, combined with the matching wine and, for designated driver, the Pornstar Martini mocktail, was truly delicious. So, besides being regulars at this lovely café, the stamppot evenings are also a real treat for us, because yes, the regular stamppots are delicious too!

A wonderful cafe. With several delicious daily specials. Now, every Monday during the fall/winter, they have a stew night. Highly recommended! A good meal and drink for under 10 euros.

Great place, we've become regulars! The welcome is warm and the food quality exceeds expectations. Generous portions, and they even serve a well-rounded glass of wine. So glad we discovered this cozy eatery!

The cheese fondue is absolutely delicious, along with tasty rolls and salad, and a nice extra: raw vegetables. Skuumkop on tap, always good. Friendly service, though it only took 45 minutes for it to arrive, and it's a truly rustic pub. Plus: you can still play darts if you're feeling up to it.

Accidentally ended up here with a friend, but was surprised by the professional staff! The staff is spotless! Wonderful help and amazing service! They know how to treat people here! The restrooms are also spotlessly clean, as if they've never been used! Beautiful place! Highly recommended.

Via social media voorbij zien komen, onbeperkt tapas eten met dessert voor 25 euro in een gezellig cafe in Haarlem. Wat hebben wij heerlijk gegeten, alle gerechten waren lekker. Grote porties, heerlijk bereidt en zeer vriendelijke bediening. Het enige minpuntje was dat na het bestellen van ons dessert de bediening terug kwam en melde dat het dessert niet bij de prijs inbegrepen was. Had dat dan gelijk gezegd bij het bestellen. Dit neemt niet weg dat de desserts lekker waren.

It is a nice place to have a drink. They have a terrace, perhaps the little thing to improve is having some cheap blankets for the terrace. Correct prices. The two guys working that night have been kind to us.

Nice restaurant in a cozy extension of a café. Because of the low ceiling it quickly sounds noisy. Delicious cheese fondue, multiple flavors and additions possible. Portion of vegetables could be a bit larger and also add brown to bread.

Although the offering is not exactly vegan-friendly, I felt welcome because of how they thought along to be able to serve our group. Nice staff who understands catering. Decent beer selection (although some nice porters, stouts and cherries would be a good addition), clean toilets and a pleasant atmosphere. I think I will come back next time I am in Haarlem.

Ended up here with Social Deal for the cheese fondue. Delicious! You will receive your own pan that is heated by a tea light. Are you out of sandwiches and vegetables? Then you can request additional information free of charge. As a starter we shared some bread, mushrooms and bitterballen. Delicious! For dessert we had the brownie and the crème brulee. The brownie was disappointing; dry, not creamy and not warm. The creme brulee is too small for the price. The desserts are very overpriced (€7 each!!). Friendly service, good atmosphere, delicious food, but the prices of the desserts are not in proportion to the rest.

We went in the bar to play dart(we are foreigner) Some of the guys in here move there table very nicely so we can play; but the barman told us it was impossible because they were waiting for customers and dart is dangerous with customers apparently… the thing is, the bar was half empty. Don’t go there if you are not from haarlem

Heerlijk ongedwongen lekker zachte mooie spare ribs. Vriendelijke mensen en met een mooie knipoog voor humor. Ik kwam voor een snelle hap en ff door werken. Maar het werdt een zeer geslaagde avond zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.
