Last photos of this lovely, friendly place...which is open for the last day today, August 24, 2025...A shame...(It was a constant coming and going of people) I'm curious what will take its place...The coffee was delicious and good...Thanks for the pleasant company.

What a unique and inviting little establishment. Stopped here for a beer after visiting family in Alkmar and what a pleasant surprise it was. We thoroughly enjoyed speaking with the patrons and enjoying the old time atmosphere. Would certainly visit again.

I'm still at the door. I have had a nice and tasty beer before in the past. But now I drove past, outside there was an inviting sign “come and have something to eat or drink” and I felt like having a beer again. No one on the terrace, I stick my head around the door and someone is shocked by me and says it is closed. To which I jokingly say, then you should take your plate away. Answered with a sneer “I don't have to do anything”. What a grump. This way the terrace remains empty of course. No next time for me.

As lovers of specialty beer, we came to the right place. In the summer you can enjoy a fantastic time on the water, but also in the winter you have a great view of the pumping station indoors. We can certainly enjoy ourselves here for a while while enjoying a drink. A nice bonus is that the owners are also very nice.
