Café De Tagrijn in Wijk 10 Binnenstad

A lovely pub that has been beautifully restored and now feels authentic, like an old ship's cafe with friendly staff and mooring places right outside.

I used to like coming to the Tagrijn. Now it has become a really boring place where sjakies meet and the staff is really not friendly, only reacts irritated when you ask for food or something. Too bad, it used to be a very nice place.

Just that little bit more service. Sincere chat. Etc...

Atmosphere is fine, but being sent away and not being able to order anymore because we made too much 'noise' is not okay

Quite fun, until 1 beer accidentally fell over on the bar. Sour bartender with little understanding. We were required to pay immediately and we were shown the door.

Was at a great concert of "Daria Zu and band" in this cafe. Nice atmosphere and special nice interior. Music was great!

Once an iconic bar. Now plastic cups and sky-high prices (6 euros for a small beer). Owner becomes increasingly drunk as the evening progresses. Shame

Great location and a very cozy cafe

Nice, warm and atmospheric. Café de Tagrijn is a top pub in every respect. A wide range of specialty beers and whiskeys (and other drinks of course) and a tasty choice of all kinds of snacks. What should also be mentioned is the delicious meatball (with satay sauce). You will definitely come back for this.

A really cool pub/café. A wonderfully relaxed atmosphere with, of course, tasty beets on tap and, importantly, good wines served. The delicious snack menu is also great. If you choose a few things from the menu here, you really don't have to go to a restaurant anymore and your stomach will be well filled.

The owner did not let us in because we were more than 8 people, even though the entire terrace was empty. I don't think this man wants to make money.

A small café, a big concept. This pub's own slogan says it best! We spontaneously had a spectacular evening here for the four of us. The atmosphere was rustic, the host was terrific, competent with the beer selection and service, conjured up fantastic Dutch snacks (from bitterballen to an ingenious bread platter with all kinds of finger food), satay skewers and baked nachos. More than good company, even as a tourist, and you don't need the things mentioned above! Located directly on the canal, you can dock your boat here and stop off here.

What a great cafe! Coincidentally walking by. Very cozy and nicely decorated and a fantastic host. Had a great snack board with lots of different snacks. The wines were also delicious! Definitely recommended, if we are ever in Zwolle again we will definitely come back!

What a beautiful thing! Typical old skipper's café but certainly not old-fashioned or dusty. The hosts understand what it's all about. They are super friendly and hospitable, quick with drinks and snacks. A nice beer on tap in a stylish glass, just a bit different and a nice collection of special beers. We had a very pleasant and well-organized evening, in the late sun on the beautiful terrace!

This is by far one of best bars in Zwolle. They understand the meaning of hospitality and the service & drinks are top notch 👌 I was very saddened when they had a fire but the renovations have actually made the place even better without losing the original vibe. Highly recommend.
