We went yesterday. What a cozy cafe atmosphere! The attention you receive from the moment you walk in is fantastic. The waitress was super nice, sweet girls. They walk around with smiles. You don't see that very often these days. The food was delicious. Beautifully presented. Kudos to the chef. I will definitely come back!

Celebrated acquaintance's birthday it was great. The owner can also play guitar beautifully and sing.

Been here several times for lunch, dinner as well as just a few drinks. Service is friendly, usually quick (though sometime you'll have to make a bit of effort to get someone's attention :-/ ) and polite. The lunch and dinner menus are varied without being too extensive or complicated which is a plus, atmosphere was nice often with some 70s and 80s pop and rock songs playing in the background, not too loud. Would recommend for 1-5 adults for a good bite to eat and/or some drinks. Would come again. :)

Leuke plek om zowel binnen als buiten op het terras te zitten. Ze hebben veel keuze aan (speciaal) bier en ook nog eens lekker eten.

Had lunch for the 2nd time and it was delicious again. Good service even though we sat at 3 different tables (first on the terrace, then moved inside due to rain). Quite difficult, but the young lady at the counter found it no problem at all and remained extremely friendly.

Enjoyed a delicious meal in the sun on the terrace.

Staff was super friendly, we had snacks so to base the food on that, well no. Atmosphere wasn't my thing, but I can't say it wasn't anything either. Truly a place where your own feelings say more than the quality you receive.

This restaurant is a bit hidden, but it exuded a warm welcome on a cold January evening. The visit did not disappoint. Tonight I had a wonderful chicken sateh dinner and my family had an Angus beef steak. The meals were hot and delicious. They are known for an extensive beer menu. I had a Brugge's Zot beer from the tap, but many other choices were considered tonight. I can highly recommend this place for a casual evening out.

Delicious food, and guess what! Everything was good. How often do you go out for lunch and there is always something that you don't like? Everything is great here. Make a reservation if you want to be sure of a spot. Greetings Frank

A friendly brown neighborhood café that has theme evenings or organizes things such as eating mussels. Owner Jaap is (almost) nothing too much and the service is always friendly. The only disadvantage is that it is quite small, but in summer the always cozy outdoor terrace makes up for a lot. Various tasty beers on tap and a great little kitchen!

I always go to the city center of Zwolle if I want to have a beer. But today I discovered Grand Café Zuid. As the name suggests, this cafe is located in Zwolle South. Near the south shopping center. What a great cafe. As a special beer lover (tasting thousands of varieties over the past 30 years), I was surprised with a beer list that contained at least 20 beers that I did not know. A cozy cafe with playable instruments hanging on the wall. I will definitely come back to discover and taste more (and maybe sing and play the guitar again).

Compliments to this Grand cafe, you will not be short of anything. I recommend everyone to eat and drink here. Friendly staff, even if they don't have room, they will still make room for your family. A top Grand Cafe!

Cozy grand café in Zwolle South with a beautiful terrace. Inside we always receive good and friendly service, but on the terrace there is often a long wait for someone to come by (even if you have made a reservation). It's a pity that you always have to signal to the servers. Very few people ask you if you want something to eat or drink. We didn't even get the map until after 20 minutes. If this is improved I would like to give 5 stars!

Always good here, I feel at home here. Had a lovely lunch with my girlfriend. The food was great, you get value for your money!

Gezellig om met vrienden of familie hier te eten en na afloop te borrelen.

Donders fijn plekkie, gezellig, groot aanbod en fijn personeel.

Dit is mogelijk de gezelligste plek van Zwolle. Je kan er goed eten en drinken voor een normale prijs. Eigenaren en personeel zijn hartelijk en gastvrij. Men is ondernemend, dus worden er allerlei activiteiten georganiseerd. Meestal met muzikaal component en veelal met een verbindend element. Zuijdt heeft zich binnen afzienbare tijd verdient een centrale plek in de wijk verworven.

Too much waiting time. To order and to eat. Even on days with not many customers. Waiters should be quicker noticing new customers sitting down, plus they need better training. Many times, they forget to bring all the menus. Which are four..... Why not expand your menu, fixing new ones, showing customers all the variety of food and drinks served? Apart from this the food is ok .. Not all dishes, but some are good and some no.

Wat een heerlijk wijkcafé! Wij hebben er savonds met 2 personen gegeten. We hebben echt heel erg lekker gegeten en ook het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Wij gaan zeker terug komen, bedankt voor de leuke avond!

Een leuke gezellige tent die ver van het centrum zit en daardoor mensen speciaal daar naar toe komen.

Gezellig met 8 personen geborreld met diverse en heerlijke hapjes. Dit als afsluiting van de voetbaldagen bij SVI. Het was zeer gezellig en lekker met een prima bediening👍 Een echte aanrader.

Ik heb afgelopen weekend mijn verjaardag gevierd bij Cafè Zuijdt. Wat een ontzettend leuke en vriendelijke bediening. Een uitgebreide bierkaart met veel keus, de bediening wist ook goede biertjes aan te raden. Top ervaring, kom er zeker terug.

Heerlijk geluncht op vrijdag. Was gezellig druk. Als je zeker een plekje wil hebben is reserveren wel aan te raden denk ik.

Altijd gezelligheid, op elk moment van de dag. Zuijdt organiseert veel leuke evenementen. Groot en klein, voor groot en klein. Het is een ontmoetingsplaats in Zwolle-Zuid. Regelmatig live muziek, of een DJ die altijd een fijne selectie draait.

Super leuke plek! Zaterdagavond was er tof bandje. Of t nu lunchen is of koffie of 's avonds een borrel. Ik kom er super graag!

Ze beschikken over een zeer vlotte bediening en er hangt een leuke leuke sfeer (zowel op het terras als binnen). Daarnaast hebben ze een prima kaart met een rijk assortiment aan speciaal bier!!

Vrolijk en vriendelijk personeel , prima kaart en heerlijk eten! Er waren behoorlijk wat gasten maar de bediening was perfect. Zeker de moeite waard als je in (de omgeving van) Zwolle bent.

Fantastisch café restaurant waar je even gezellig kan zitten, bediening is vlot en vriendelijk. Geen opmerking voor ons, een aanrader!
