Café de Zwaan in Wijk 04 Baarlo

A local pub. Owner with a smooth talk and sense of humor.

We arrived at 5:40 PM, it was nice and quiet except for us, but one other table was occupied. The atmosphere inside was pleasant and cozy. After being seated, we had our drinks in about 10 minutes, so that was fine. However, our food didn't arrive until 6:55 PM (tomato soup, two pancakes, salmon, and pasta). I even asked if they had accidentally forgotten us. It's really unacceptable to have our food arrive an hour after our drinks, especially in a rather standard restaurant. What made it even more annoying was that we saw that other tables who arrived well after us had their soup and appetizers on the table considerably earlier than us. The salmon (a good portion) and the pasta (very small) were mediocre compared to other restaurants (we regularly eat out with our family). Luckily, the kids did enjoy the pancakes :) The last time we were at Dok6 was much more pleasant. Unfortunately for us, this was our last time at Dok6.

The restaurant is incredible, the food is very delicious, the atmosphere is vibrant, the staff is very friendly and responsive, I really liked everything.

Cozy café where it is always busy and they have large rooms

Nice business with nice employees. They are also nice and fast. There are plenty of public activities to attend throughout the year. It is always well organized with something for everyone.
