Cafe Dennenoord in Roggel

We had to wait over an hour. First, they didn't have enough menus (even though many tables were empty). Then it took a very long time for the food to arrive. But apart from the overly salty fries, the food was good (we were definitely hungry). The price was reasonable.

We asked twice for the lunch menu, but after waiting for more than half an hour we left.

Cozy place in a beautiful walking area. Good food and drinks and great staff. Perfect stop place to use something while walking or cycling.

Nice cozy location, rurally situated on the outskirts of the village. Nice mix of old Limburg coziness with modern style of serving. Nice shape, solid quality and preheated plates. Asparagus soup was delicious. Sharing dinner is served on a tower of heavy cast iron pots and pans. Heat stays in the dish for a long time, and beautiful presentation with hand-cut fries with skin and various potato products. Various types of meat of good quality. I would rather replace the bavette with a steak or pepper steak because of the finer texture. The coarse muscle in bavette clashes somewhat with the rest of the beautiful tender meat and salmon in the rest of the tower. Quantity is more than sufficient and we as good eaters could barely finish it. Dessert is fine. A big compliment to the staff. Neat in company clothing and very friendly and youthful. We will definitely come back.

Had a lovely and abundant dinner here. The portions are large and you also get a bread board with delicious bread. The order comes with plenty of vegetables and tasty fries and a kind of rösti. This way you can choose between various dishes. The dessert is also such a generous amount. Tasty wheat beer with it, although the foam layer unfortunately died. And the caesar salad was a bit unimaginative. Thick dollops of mayo and no anchovies. But overall they get a solid 9 and are worth repeating.

Anyone who would like to eat regional and really tasty food has come to the right place! We spontaneously went to Café Dennenoord for dinner today with 6 people and drove back to the campsite after 2 hours, completely thrilled and full. Price/performance is very good and the quality of both the food and the service leaves nothing to be desired! Thank you for this lovely last holiday evening with you!

We had the Tho Share Platter, the meat, fries, and fish were simply fantastic. We've rarely had such a delicious meal. We will definitely be back. The best restaurant in Roggel and the surrounding area!!!

First time, will definitely come back. Good portions, fair price. Personally I didn't think the farmer's fries were great, but that's a matter of taste. Service friendly, but thought it took quite a while. They could have easily sold one or two more rounds of drinks.

Delicious meal with the whole family! We opted for a sharing dinner. With our group of 11 people, we communicated our choice before 3:00 PM. This was a bit unusual for us, but the taste and freshness of the food completely made up for it. Really delicious! Sharing dessert is also recommended (see photo)

Had lunch with 4 adults and 5 children. Kindly received. Service is friendly and polite, and there is plenty of food available. Took the time to let the children order themselves. The chef himself brought the lunch board with an explanation! Highly recommended! In short, we will definitely come back here again!

Went here based on the reviews. For the first time for us. And.... we had a delicious meal there! We made a mix of soup, the 'Plank full of goodies', salads and fries. Delicious! By the way, we had the Goulash and the Tomato Soup. Very very good! It was also nice that the chef himself came to the table with 'the board' to explain what was on it. It does indeed take a bit longer (as others have written) before you get your food. Was definitely worth the wait! Sat outside because of the nice weather. The terrace is beautiful in itself, but the traffic made it a bit restless. The interior is very beautifully and authentically decorated. Definitely for us to come back!

We regularly come to Goeden and last Friday we again had a delicious meal from 'Plank full of goodies' and the vegetarian ratatouille. Shared dining options are also very good and tasty. Friendly atmosphere with friendly staff and very creative chef.

What a fantastic experience. First of all, we were warmly welcomed by a young man, who took us to our table. This in a very nice and cozy restaurant with conservatory and terrace. The 5 of us sat at a table in the conservatory. In addition to the service and location, the food was also fantastic. This was very tasty and more than enough. The food was brought by one of the chefs who gave a detailed explanation of what was served. The food was also presented in a very nice way. After a starter and main course there was no room for dessert. The intention is that we will come back for this next week. The only downside, if you see it that way, is that there is nothing for children. This can be both a plus and a minus.

Heerlijk gegeten bij Dennenoord. Via Google terecht gekomen en het was heerlijk! Tevens super vriendelijk personeel. Enige nadeel was dat het bij een druk kruispunt is (wel ideaal om lekker te kijken maar voor met kindjes wat minder). Maar voor het eten komen we zeker terug!

We recently had a very nice meal here. We had not made a reservation and it was completely full. So we started on the terrace. It was a bit chilly and after 10 minutes we were asked if we wanted to go to the conservatory because of a cancellation, which was very pleasant. Nice service and very nicely served.

Food was delicious. Salmon in white wine sauce and the ratatouille were very tasty. Vegetables and fries (homemade) delicious. The wait for the main course was quite long, but it was definitely worth it!

Nice location, friendly employees. Unfortunately, meat from the 'plank' from 1 person was undercooked/raw. Can happen. As long as you pay attention to solving it. I declined the new piece offered, after which another piece on the shelf also turned out to be raw. A drink or coffee on the house would have made for a better experience. So definitely a nice place with friendly employees, if everything goes according to plan. Delicious white house wine by the way!

Delicious brunch, delicious and extensive

When we entered the conservatory, there was a large group of young men. Very noisy but this group left quite quickly. We received a friendly welcome and sat at a table by the window with 4 people. We opted for a mixed platter for 4 people. This one was delicious. Freshly made sauces, vegetables, salad, etc. For dessert we chose sabayon, Grand dessert and dame blanche. The flavors were exquisite. We had a very pleasant evening in which we were always helped very well. The only disadvantage is the chairs, which are so hard that they are uncomfortable to sit on.

Start with a delicious goulash soup and asparagus soup. As a main course a grill platter. Everything wonderfully fresh and tasty. The spareribs were super tender and cooked. Worth repeating. 1 minus point, service could come by more often to order drinks, this took too long and too little. But for the rest... great.

Spent the Sunday afternoon and evening with our car club on March 10. Enjoyed a nice coffee with quality pastries, and ate together after drinks. That was, in a word, great. It took a while but that's what you get!! Everyone was very satisfied. The service also did its best.

Nice location on the edge of Leudal. That which you still experience real hospitality. In this case, just ordered a cup of coffee (served with liqueur). I will definitely come here more often.

It's a bit too cold in the winter garden, the service was very friendly, the prices are at least 1/4 too high. The platter for €20 per person is definitely not filling, the children's burger is very thick and makes it difficult for a child to eat. Then it's better to make the patty something thinner and easier to eat. The fries were freshly cut from the potato, but were very thick and soggy on the inside.

Eigenaresse vertelde ons dat de kok haar zoon in de leer is geweest bij Sergio Herman en dat verklaarde voor ons alles. Echte aanrader.

Top! We zijn hier vaker geweest. Vandaag onze laatste vakantie dag afgesloten. Het was aangenaam druk. Zelf wel even gereserveerd ivm goed weer. We hebben een voorafje een plankje voor 2 personen genomen. Dit was super! Alles lekker vers. Mijn partner had als hoofdgerecht diamant haas met verse groenten en ik had kip saté. Alles was heerlijk mals en precies goed. Als toetje hebben we cappuccino en espresso gehad. Dit was erg lekker. Goede koffie en bediening erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam goede sfeer! Bedankt voor de fijne en heerlijke afsluiter van onze vakantie! Wij komen zeker nog eens terug!

Heerlijke lunch, prachtige lokatie op een mooie dag. En ook heel gezellige mensen ontmoet.

Ruim terras waar je onder parasol rustig kunt zitten. Aan de doorgaande weg, dus afhankelijk van verkeer niet perse rustig. Voorbij brullende motoren verstoren dit, maar hier ondernemer natuurlijk niets aan doen.
