Loved this pub so much the exact pub experience I was looking for

A nice spot to quietly watch what's happening in the city.

Just had a drink, a nice and cozy atmosphere, also on the terrace. The weather was beautiful and the people were friendly.

My regular pub to grab a beer with a friend or friends. With a terrace, patio heaters, and a blanket if desired.

This remains a lovely traditional pub. A good selection on tap. And the staff knows what they're talking about.

Small village pub in the middle of the city

Atmospheric but very noisy café. We were there on a Friday afternoon and it was packed.

The pub quiz every month on Monday is great fun.

Great bar with nice range of beers and a small but well chosen set of wines by the glass. Went here for a final two or three drinks on a couple of our nights in Haarlem and would love to have somewhere like this close to us at home - simple place, good service, nice busy atmosphere.

Gezellig en meteen een goede sfeer als je hier binnen loopt. Tijdens kerstavond super leuk gezeten. Een vriendelijke uitbater en personeel. Zeker de moeite waard om hier even een biertje te drinken.

Beautiful, traditional, little bar, right next to the Grote Markte. The staff are super friendly and the service is the best. An amazing selection of beers on tap, featuring both Dutch and Belgian beers, with a style for everyone (including the locally brewed Jopenbier). Due to it’s location, it can get busy at times. Didn’t rate the food as we didn’t eat.

Always my favorite bar in Haarlem! What a service!! I recently left my bag there... I called the owner and it was just there without any problems. Everything was still there, a nice pub, really super familiar! Top staff. See you soon :)

One of the bars in Haarlem where professional barmanship is of paramount importance. Cozy brown pub with a wide range of beer, where you can expect good advice if you can't find it.

Very good atmosphere, just what you want from a brown café. Everyone is welcome and service is quick and personal. I really recommend to go. Very local place to go to and always friendly and busy.

Leuk maar duur cafe, 1 glaasje Hertog Jan en een flesje Bitter Lemon van 25 cl voor €7,50! Met dit soort prijzen ga ik een deur verder.

De eigenaar vonden we niet echt een neutrale barkeeper.Voor ons had hij weinig aandacht en andere gasten dweepte hij meeweg!

Gezellige boel een aanrader had er niet gegeten wel gefeest .

Top plek om heerlijk een biertje en een frituur te doen, extra frikandelletje omdat ze van die lieve mensen zijn! Is als thuiskomen!

De trots van weleer is niet meer. Zeer onvriendelijk personeel, geen gastvrijheid, de zaak was nauwelijks gevuld terwijl omliggende zaken uitpuilden. Kennelijk hebben meer gasten ontdekt dat je beter elders een drankje kunt drinken

Heerlijk eerlijk horeca bedrijf.

Heel klein, haha! Maar wel heerlijke drankjes en ideaal voor een paar borreltjes. De mannen achter de bar (die eindemiddag dat wij er waren) zijn zeer vriendelijk. Op dat moment was er een borrel met 12 mannen, dus het was gelijk stampvol, omdat het sta gedeelte bij de ingang is. Net als de toiletten (trap omhoog) dus je moest er langzaam doorheen als het ware. Maar wat ik zeg, ik kende Koops al, maar de biertjes van de tap waren weer echt ontzettend lekker. Dank voor de service en de glimlach!

Hele goede avond gehad hier, vrolijk personeel en lekker bier en wijn (schijnbaar volgens mijn vrouw) 😄

Het geweldigste cafe van Haarlem!

Eten was bij mij een aantal biertjes maar die staan ook voor een boterham tenslotte service en sfeer ouderwetse kwaliteit, top dus.

Heerlijke wijn, lekkere snacks en goede bediening.

Leuke plaats om gezellig te borrelen,😋

Beroemd Haarlems café. Stond jarenlang hoog in de Misset Top 100. Gegarandeerd zonvrij terras.

Leuk René vd Aanleg weer eens gesproken te hebben. Café was aangenaam bezet en de Gulpen Hop is een aanrader.

Koops is absoluut hét café van Haarlem. Gastheren als Tim, René en Milan zijn geweldig in de service. Schrik niet van de ouderwetste manier van werken, ze zullen vragen om een naam voor de bon, maar dat maakt de beleving extra uniek, gepersonaliseerd en speciaal. Een absolute aanrader voor als u in Haarlem bent.
