Café LaBru in Rotterdam Centrum

We decided to come in here for a few beers. Stayed for the Bitterballen and Whisky. Bar staff knew their stuff, give me tips on different Whiskies to try.

Fresh beer, awesome bartender. Came here on a Monday and was pleasantly surprised by the bartender Thimo, who gave us recommendations on restaurants and poured fresh delicious beer for us. Will definitely visit again.

I am writing this review first about Thimo because he was such a amazing bartender the night my friend and I went! He was super nice made the best drinks! Even tried to help us with seating. He was amazing to everyone! So thanks alot Thimo keep the good work up it is noticed and appreciated! The music was amazing the vibes were amazing not like anything else in Rotterdam it was very crowded but 100% recommend to go to!

The price of alcohol is a little expensive but the food is good in a warm and welcoming setting.

The wednesday night jazz is always worth it, no place like it in Rotterdam

Nice cocktail bar. They have a wide collection of gins and other spirits: ask the bartenders for their recommendation, they know everything about it!

Food, service, atmosphere 5 stars all the way I called late one night to see if the kitchen was still open and although it was a bit close they accommodated me and my significant other very last minute The tapas, the cocktails, the vibe truly amazing This spot should set an example for others when it comes to quality service and food One of my favorite spots in the city

If you want to experience godly bartenders then you must go there. Since I stepped inside the bar I felt invited and warm. The crew works with mostly 3 people total. The crew is probably six people. I’ve met all of them. They showed me that this is not just a job but a passion. Seeing the art of making a drink was never that fine. The communication and the good vibes are priceless. This place is better than Dizzy or Dox. LaBru is packed on wednesday, because there is a live jazz band playing. This shows how good the crew is. This is the place for funky and oldskool people that loves the journey and not just the destination

The best Jazz bar I can find in Rotterdam! Maybe one off the best in Holland. I recommend to go on wensday evenings, then is the jazz night. Great wines and a good cheese platter! So far our favourite place in Rottetdam!!

Lovely jazz bar with free live music on Wednesdays! It’s really the best mid week treat. But if you’re going for the live music you better get there early because it gets crowded really quick!

Nice place to have a drink, both inside and outside. Inside there are large sofas where you can sit comfortably, and the art collection also changes constantly, so you always have something different to look at!

On Wednesdays the live jazz music creates a great atmosphere, we will definitely come back more often!

I very much enjoyed late at night at this bar. They organize poetry events, and it is a cozy place for drinks and talks. It was my first visit, and it was in a central area of Rotterdam. The nice atmosphere and their best drink is Rum.

Jazz night was pretty cool. Bartender was rude, poured a beer that was half foam and then proceeded to tell me I’m “not in England” when I asked for some beer with my foam…

Jazz club on Wednesday evenings, relaxed and festive atmosphere. Reduced choice of beer though. You can also snack on snacks. We had a good time in the liveliest district of Rotterdam.

A very nice place to be alone or even more fun with friends. The interior has the atmosphere of a living room. Various sofas, tables and chairs, high or low. You can also have a drink at the bar. Friendly service. The appearance is calm and cozy. Toilet is downstairs, accessible by stairs.

Fantastic jazz quartet yesterday.

Really well curated lamps and furniture make it inviting for a cozy evening with a really good selection of cocktails, done so professionally! Also the fact that there was a little temporary exhibition going on, makes it even better. Staff is really polite and well-trained. The only disadvantage is that when it gets really busy it becomes a bit less inviting.

Great cafe bar with live Jazz on Wednesdays from 10pm (2 X sax, double bass, drums and piano. (Piano needs a mic guys!) Arrive early if you want a seat as it gets busy.

I used to walk past this place (unfortunately) until a friend of mine suggested I go there for a drink. The cocktails/mocktails are of the best quality I have ever had. You can tell that they pay a lot of attention to taste. If you get hungry you can order something to snack on and this is just right for a drink so don't expect culinary meals. In terms of atmosphere, the interior looks 90's homely and I felt more comfortable with that than a luxurious and hiply decorated shop. The audience is very mixed, by that I mean young/old/business/street and I think that is also a plus. During the week they have live (jazz) music, but I have only been there on Saturdays. You can follow them on Instagram for the program (and also for the 'cocktails of the week')

Very uncultured staff, from the time my friend and I ordered some coffe, a drink and snack, about 20 minutes passed and we were kicked out because we didn't order anything more at that time. In no place I have been treated like this. There is plenty of space and it wasn't closing any time soon I see no explanation to kicking somebody out, just because they sit and talk and have already ordered something. The waitress was pushy, didn't respect the guests. Felt like a fast food restaurant because from the moment we came, to the moment we were kicked out about 45 minutes passed. It felt absurd and pathetic.

Gezellige tent om een drankje te doen Je hebt veel bankjes en stoelen waar je het gevoel hebt alsof je in een woonkamer zit (heel relaxed) Zeker komen als je na het eten nog wilt naborrelen (ze zijn alleen wel tot 2u a.m. open op een vrijdag dus hou daar rekening mee als het heel gezellig wordt)

The cocktails at this place are something else. A lot of depth in flavor and mixed to perfection. Our bartender was Thimo and has some crazy mixology skills. Props to him for the crazy drinks.

Lekkere cocktails, leuke sfeer. Leuk café , mooie inrichting binnen. Alleen jammer dat het zitgedeelte buiten niet al te groot is, misschien dat daar nog iets kan worden uitgebreid in zitplekken.

I have very much enjoyed my hand-made fresh orange juice. My wife and I sat in the comfortable low chairs and we talked for a long time. We had to refill our drinks. It was nice.

J'ai beaucoup aimé, même si je n'y ai pas dîné. L'ambiance est chaleureuse. Les barmen et barmaid sont au top. Très sympathiques et professionnels. C'est un vrai plaisir que de les admirer concocter les cocktails et je vous invite alors à vous installer au bar. J'ai commandé, en cette fin décembre, un vin chaud et j'en ai pour mon argent ! C'est la première fois que je suis aussi généreusement servie. La décoration est jolie et il se dégage du lieu un caractère authentique. J'y retournerai avec plaisir !

Muy agradable, un lugar informal con sofás y asientos de bar. Agradable tanto para un capuchino o bebidas antes de la cena o un gorro de noche. Me encanta el espacio y los camareros son agradables y amables. Gran lugar para la fecha también.

Visité a la familia recientemente y tomé una bebida relajante muy agradable. El ambiente es bueno al igual que el personal. Se siente más como una barra de café que como una barra, pero fue agradable.

El personal es muy amable. Básicamente me enseñaron a qué sabe la ginebra. Tiene un gran ambiente y una hermosa selección de alcohol de buena calidad. Si eres fanático del ron, el Diplomatico es una excelente opción. ¿Quieres quedarte con la ginebra? ¡Excelente! Aquí están mis 3 favoritos principales: • Gastro Gin & Johnny (ginebra holandesa) con ginger ale y una rodaja de jengibre. Las notas dominantes son el hinojo y la pimienta de sichuan. La ginger ale complementa el aroma naturalmente dulce de esta ginebra bellamente rica y fragante. • Kosuke de la destilería Kyro final. Pidió ser servido en un vaso pequeño, no en el alto. No te excedas con el ginger ale porque mata el sabor de la ginebra. Se le servirá cubierto con rodajas de Appel que agregan una nota dulce y delicada muy sutil a una ginebra muy rica en general. • El Windspiel destilado de papa alemana es una mezcla seca, para cualquier caballero. ^^
