Café restaurant BON in Vinkeveen

Had another wonderful evening at our neighbors across the street – for over 15 years now. It remains a beautiful spot by the lock, with lovely sunsets (or at least always typical Dutch skies) over the Botshol. Always lively and busy, but nonetheless attentive service and delicious food at a good price. It was a great start to Neptune's Night. Well done, Vincent and team.

Delicious lunch on a nice terrace with excellent service.

Had a nice time sitting outside, friendly people, had a drink. Bitterballs, of course. Enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace.

Just nice and not over the top. Standard menu and not too expensive. If you are coming by boat, berths are limited.

Our BBQ party with 50 people at BON was a great success. Beautiful location with a very good and pleasant team in the kitchen and service! Compliments to Vincent and the team!

Deliciously priced dishes on a charming and bustling waterside terrace under a parasol. Not even pictured are an unknown dessert and a tge blend unknown to us! In short, nothing more to wish for with this pleasant company at Chez Bon!

Hospitality as it should be. A carafe of water and glasses were placed on the table without being asked. This was followed by some bread with herb butter. The waitress who served us is worth her weight in gold. We had a delicious meal! Excellent value for money as well.

Gratinated mussels are still on the website, but unfortunately have been unavailable to order for months.

What a lovely place! We had a wonderful time having lunch for a birthday party. The service was very good. The girls came by often to ask if we needed anything and were very friendly. There was even a spot where our son could take his afternoon nap. Highly recommended!

Lovely spot, cozy, and friendly staff. We chose the onion soup; it was very flavorful, but about a tablespoon of grated cheese in a small bowl on the side is (as far as my taste is concerned) a bit too little. I love a thick layer of melted cheese, straight from the grill 😋 Dishes on other tables look very good. So, highly recommended!

My friends and I travelling from Ireland had a fun evening here, stopping off after cruising on canals for a few days. Staff were friendly, great fun and highly recommend a visit here.

Beautifully situated with views over unspoiled meadows. It's a great starting point for a wonderful walk around Botshol. We enjoyed cappuccino with delicious apple pie and later a beer on the terrace.

A wonderful place, we love coming here. Delicious, simple yet delicious dishes, a great menu, and hard-working staff. They'll always go above and beyond to serve you, even when it's (too) busy, which sometimes happens in the summer. Fair prices and a nice location by the lock.

Beautiful location near the lock and harbour, you are surrounded by water.

The atmosphere and service are excellent, and there are ample parking spaces. There's a view of the lock, which sees many passages in the summer.

I came here when I was younger, recently attended a golden wedding, had top service and a delicious buffet. Beautiful location for a party, but also for a nice drink on the terrace by the water!

Top location, top service. We were guests at a party, everything was well taken care of and the staff served perfectly. Structurally serving a beer glass with a label to the customer is simply great. Serving petit four with explanation gives that extra involved feeling. Switching at the right time to continue the party indoors shows experience. Compliments!

It was super nice, we sat right at the lock, we can only recommend the staff was great, the food was super tasty, the view was also very exciting.

Was very disappointing. The orange juice tasted very strange and when we reported this, the service responded very sullenly. In the end we reluctantly got another drink and she took the gravy back. Upon departure I asked how the whipped cream service worked since we had been there for a little over an hour. With a steely face, the woman at the counter told me that I could pay with a debit card at the barrier. When I said that I thought guests could park for free she said: 'oh yes, apologies, that's right.' Then she went to get a coin. It felt like another €2.50 was being ripped off... We left with a bad aftertaste. Shame!

Yesterday I received a birthday surprise dinner for my 50th birthday at restaurant Bon, a super tasty meal from the shelves both cold and hot and drank delicious wine, the service was really TOP and we sat in the conservatory which was very cozy, for all your types of parties. this is a SUPER location. Rustig plekje om bij te kletsen. Simpele menukaart, maar prima, niks mis mee.

Voor middagfeestje contact met Vincent opgenomen, hen vrij gelaten in wens: organiseer iets “high tea / winerigs” en ik kreeg een topmiddag voor mijn gezelschap! Aparte ruimte, versierd, sfeervol, prachtig opgemaakte planken met gerechten in gangen (zoet, hartig van koud naar warm). Fijne persoonlijke vriendelijke verzorging door de crew. Wij zijn fan!

A peaceful countryside/Harbour café just 30mins away from the airport. Why wait for your plane at the airport if a place like this exists?

Nice view outside. But there were too many people, rather noisy. It took us one hour to get some food. Food was not bad.

Heerlijke plek om even te crashen tijdens een wandeling. Goed bediend en als meest prettige service: gewoon meteen een fles water op tafel bij aankomst! Zo moet dat!

Bezocht op vaderdag, dus erg druk, tafeltje achteraf. Niet erg, want toch een tosti kunnen eten.

Wie kamen ohne Reservierung und haben draußen schnell einen Tisch bekommen. Die Getränke kamen schnell. Jedoch gab es nicht viel Auswahl, gerade englische oder deutsche Getränke-Karten gab es keine. Interessant war, dass wir eine englische Speisekarte bekommen haben, dort aber nicht alle Gerichte aufgelistet waren ! Burger und Steaks haben wir zum Beispiel an dem Nachbartischen gesehen, aber nicht auf der Karte. Wir waren das erste und letzte Mal hier. Leider haben wir uns hier wie so oft auf die anderen guten Bewertungen verlassen ..... Für so wenig Auswahl an Gerichten, trotz vieler Gäste und hohen Kosten erwarte ich einfach mehr. Für 17,50 € sollte man auch von einem Salat satt werden und das Chrispy Chicken sollte fisch geholt sein. Beides war nicht der Fall. Das andere Gericht war auch nur ok, aber für 20,50€ einfach viel zu schlecht. Die SpareRips waren ok, aber die Pommes nicht durch !! Die Bedienung hätte mehr auf die Getränke eingehen können nach unserer Nachfrage. Alles in allem ist es einfach zu wenig !

Unfortunately the reviews do not reflect the quality of drinks and food. The beer was ok, and there was also a card for This Drinks. But there was no card for Wine or Seccos in english. The food was ok but nothing more, nothing Special. We had the spare ribs, which were ok but the fries were very white and Not long enough in the fryer! The chicken salad was very small, so that you could eat one more, very expensive for what you get! It was very carelessly prepared with not many ingrediants. In This way we can not recommend This restaurant!
