So far, I have only been there for a cup of coffee and a pleasant conversation. But I will definitely come back here to enjoy the chef's culinary skills! Beautiful location and nice atmosphere.

Nice restaurant. We ate on the terrace. The service is quick and friendly. You have privacy; the tables are not too close together. The food is good. The mussels were a bit small, but that could also be the season.

Old building with a large terrace on the edge of the city center. Ideal for cyclists. Inside, stylish old-fashioned decor with a restaurant. Tip: Toilet clean, but doors not.

We recently visited for the first time. The restaurant was recommended to us by a local resident. The food was consistently tasty, although the portions could have been a bit larger. The service was excellent. All the staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was cozy, but the dining room could have been a bit cleaner. All in all, we recommend this restaurant.

Nice, efficient service, cold water on tap!😂. By mistake, you have beer in your water bottle!🤣. Homemade apple pie with homemade whipped cream! In short...AMAZING!

This place… the high quality… you just want to stay 🥰 The surroundings are too beautiful to cycle along the Angstel, Vecht, etc., and then have lunch or delicious coffee with the best apple pie at De Eendracht! 😋

Went for lunch on the terrace today and ordered the Salade Niçoise. I hadn't seen this salad on the menu before, but it is highly recommended – delicious!! Friendly and efficient service.

The hotspot for race Bikers and hikers to warm up in winter or chill on the terrace in summer. Large, motivated staff team that'll help you friendly, but might push you to move on again when its busy. Food is not their strong side. Stick with the snacks and drinks and you'll be fine.

There were a lot of staff walking around, but it looked like they didn't know what to do. Maybe a tip for cheese sticks: a choice of mayonnaise or mustard.

Beautiful location with a huge terrace. Extensive menu and beautiful, authentic interior. Had drinks twice with 5 friends (coffee and beers). In the end, we spent more than €8 per person. Quite on the high side by Dutch standards.

We made a brief stop in Abcoude for lunch and chose De Eendracht. It's a nice location with a view of the bridge over the Angstel. The service was mediocre. We had to ask for the menu twice, and when ordering, the waitress forgot to run up my partner's order. One of the two plates they brought over didn't belong to us. This was corrected quite quickly, though, so my food wasn't cold when the second course finally arrived. Furthermore, we weren't asked if we wanted anything to drink. The food itself was decent. We both chose a meatball sandwich, but for €12.50, you expect more. It wasn't really something to get excited about. We then had to ask for the bill twice as well.

A bit crowded, but a nice little place!

You can sit there until you drop. Been there twice. Totally ignored, even though it wasn't particularly busy at the time. Just walked away twice.

We had Mustard and pointed cabbage soup which was excellent! And the Tuna Sandwich. Everything delicious. 100% recommended

Dramatic!!! Immediately upon arrival (we had barely sat down), the lady came over right away to ask what we wanted to drink. No menu was offered. After asking for one, we were offered a menu, but with a grumpy face. After 10 minutes, we informed another lady that we would like to order. She was not allowed to take our order but said she would pass it on to her colleague. The colleague was walking around but probably didn't want to see us anymore. After another 15 minutes, we left. No one came to ask why. The terrace was about 20% full, so that wasn't the reason. This all happened on May 5th around 5:30 PM.

The menu offers a good selection, the food is of good quality, the service was a bit slow but they offered us a free drink as an apology. The staff is very friendly. Large terrace, but the metal chairs are missing a cushion and get cold in the evening. Parking nearby.

A typical Dutch restaurant in the mid-price range. A lovely outdoor space, perfect for enjoying sunny days. However, when we moved from outside to inside, there was some confusion with the bill: the staff, rather young and inexperienced, had some difficulty managing the situation. The food was average. I ordered the couscous salade, expecting a plate of couscous with vegetables, but it arrived as a salad—pre-dressed—with some couscous added. Not exactly what you'd expect from the name of the dish.

I can only say, all praise to all… all the people at De Eendracht in Abcoude!! If you are looking for a location to celebrate something, I would say, look no further and celebrate it here!!! Normally I am very easygoing, I like everything and enjoy it, but when I organize something myself I strive for perfection and am only happy when everyone is having a good time, and then I get slightly stressed. Here, they seem to have the same ambition, and everything was taken off my hands so that during the preparation I only got more and more excited, and on the evening itself, I simply enjoyed myself. Truly everyone (and there were almost 70 of us) was full of praise for the location, the service, and the food. It was admirable how the staff, amidst all these people, provided such personal service without being overly intrusive. On the evening itself and for days afterward, I received so many comments about the delicious food, but also comments like, “I only had to walk to the bar and he already knew what I wanted to drink” and “he even came over specifically to ask if I wanted ketchup because mayonnaise isn't vegan.” There really wasn't a single point of criticism; in fact… there really wasn't a single person who didn't want to share something positive with me. And believe me, I couldn't personally accept a single compliment; nope, as I said: All praise to De Eendracht in Abcoude!!

Too good to be true Beautiful 3-course menu, good service & top location

A really nice place with a lovely terrace. The toasted sandwich deservedly won an award because it is really tasty. Had a delicious lunch in general, and a good charcuterie board too.

It's fine there, but on Sundays the service is very slow. There were seven of us, and coffee arrived first, then apple pie, when the coffee ran out. One person had banana cake, which arrived even later, after everyone had already finished their apple pie. Very disappointing.

De Eendracht is a cozy eatery where I notice that the tables are not too close together and there is a nice section overlooking the market. The food is simple, with a little something extra; it's fine for a meal. I have been once a year for the past few years. What strikes me is that the menu is largely homemade, and every time I visit, there is a parking spot for a car outside after a day, which is of course nice if you have called ahead. The service is fine, and the staff are often very young.

They have Pepsi instead of Coke! That's really unacceptable because Pepsi tastes awful!

We popped in for a bite to eat last night. There were five waitresses working, and yet it took a long time for someone to show up. We explained we were just passing through and wanted to grab a bite to eat. Two waitresses seemed to prioritize each other over the guests. We were eventually able to order, and the food arrived fairly quickly. However, ordering a second drink was difficult, and the checkout process wasn't entirely straightforward. The food was good, the atmosphere was reasonable, and the service was mediocre.

It's a cozy but always busy restaurant. Keep that in mind. The staff are friendly and helpful. Sometimes, when it's busy, you might have to wait a little longer for your order.

The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the hamburger (meat from De Lindehof) is number two on my top 10 list—truly delicious. It's a shame it wasn't really warm and drafty, hence the 3 stars for the atmosphere. We'd love to come back in the summer.

It's bizarre that they serve soft drinks from large bottles; there was no fizz left in them either. You pay 3.60 for that. You expect just a little bit more these days, and simply from a small bottle.

We had a bite to eat here before a concert in Amsterdam. The welcome was mediocre and the service somewhat businesslike. We didn't really feel welcome. We all three ordered hamburgers. They tasted fine, but nothing special. As a result, we felt the price-quality ratio wasn't really right.

Yay! De Eendracht has been my go-to restaurant in the neighborhood for over 20 years. A wonderful place, delicious food, a lovely terrace and interior, and top-notch service. One comment for the owners: the mussels off the menu are delicious! But, really, not enough for what you pay... I recently had a pan of mussels (that's how they should be served, not on a deep plate), and that was over a kilo for 22 euros... 750 grams for 27.50 is too much money for too few mussels. I've noticed the portions have gotten smaller and the prices have gone up. It would be respectful to your clientele to dial that back a bit; you're plenty full, and sales won't suffer. Customer satisfaction and enjoyment will increase. Tip from a generally very satisfied regular customer.🙏 I'm also writing this because your staff says they get this comment often. Nice little spot in central Abcoude. A good selection of beers, but nothing special. The atmosphere is nice, the food is good, and the service is fast.

We're always amazed by the presentation: a tiny piece of fillet all by itself on a huge plate. We always have to share fries and salad (with little sauce)...🧐. Bread is only available upon request. It's a shame ☹️, but it's been like that in every restaurant! Lack of culinary culture? It's a shame, the food was okay.

Never in my life have I had such a good apple pie and chocolate chip cookie. The cookie itself is incredible, and while it doesn't look very inviting, after the first bite... it's a real treat!

Fijn terras (op de steeds vaker voorkomende herrie van motoren na, maar daar is kennelijk weinig aan te doen, asocialen zullen er altijd zijn) en vriendelijke bediening. De huisgemaakte ice tea beviel heel goed, zeker op zo'n warme avond. De hoofdgerechten vielen helaas erg tegen. De entrecote was taai, hoorde ik van twee tafelgenoten. En de 'artisjokken à la barigoule met bospeen en kruidige parelgort-risotto' was niet meer dan... een bord eten. De gort was vooral zout, en de artisjokken leken rechtstreeks uit een potje te komen. Er was niets interessants te ontdekken aan dit gerecht, misschien was dat ene gegrilde bospeentje nog het lekkerst. De prijs (23 euro) vond ik daarom veel te hoog. De desserts vonden we wel goed. Het chocolade-ijs was super, en de stroopwafel met kaneelmascarpone was ook verrassend lekker. Kortom: ga hier vooral naartoe voor de desserts.

While it was a very busy weekend due to the tremendous weather the staff were still alert and attentive. In addition, our food was outstanding and hit the spot for tired travellers. Jazz on the 2nd Wednesday of the month is a surprise, but a nice one! The host wasn't too fond of it, but we liked it. We will definitely come again, everything is well organized here. Thanks!

Excellent Restaurant Experience The ambiance was truly charming, and the chef’s talent shines through in every dish. I started with a refreshing watermelon-based starter, followed by the potato gnocchi as my main—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. For dessert, the lemon meringue was a delightful finish, with its zesty curd and touch of sweetness. Every course was amazing. I will definitely be coming back!

Nice place with a terrace in the sun. Coffee and apple pie were delicious. Lots of young staff. But dinner in the evening, a hamburger and a vegetarian hamburger, was disappointing.

Always have a nice seat at the Eendracht. Especially when the weather is nice on the terrace. Plenty of choice on the menu, also vegetarian options.
