Café-Restaurant "De Reggehal" in Wijk 01 Stadsrand

We waited an hour for one sandwich (uitsmijter) and three toasted sandwiches, but in the end, we didn't get anything. We left because they were taking so long. The service wasn't very friendly either. When someone asked why it was taking so long, someone behind the counter told us to just leave. After waiting another 10 minutes, we were done and left. As we were leaving, the owner came after us and said we were on vacation and didn't care anymore. An apology would have been appreciated, and it might have been worth a solution.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Very disappointing experience Unfortunately, both the food and the value for money were a major letdown for us. The pizza arrived at the table limp and soggy. The crust had hardly any firmness and therefore resembled wet cardboard rather than a well-baked pizza. The pastry served as dessert was also clearly dried out and curled at the edges, making it appear unfresh. The ice cream was served with whipped cream. In itself, of course, this is not a problem, but given the price charged for the dessert, we had expected considerably more. In our opinion, for these prices, you should expect much better quality and presentation of the dishes. As far as we are concerned, the bill does not match what was ultimately served at all. In short: disappointing food and very poor value for money. We will not be returning here.

Nicely located restaurant. The menu offers sufficient choice. Delicious food and beautifully prepared. Unfortunately, they only serve certain dishes indoors, despite what the sign outside might lead you to believe. You cannot always use the outdoor terrace (even when the weather is nice).

Heerlijk gegeten. Fijn personeel . Porties heel groot. Uitstekende prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Leuke locatie. Kan dit iedereen aanraden.

the food is tasty and plenty of it, and the staff is friendly. Nice cafe, I think a lot of people drink there.
