Heerlijk gegeten. Fijn personeel . Porties heel groot. Uitstekende prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Leuke locatie. Kan dit iedereen aanraden.

Delicious food and well looked after by very friendly staff

Wij hebben hier heerlijk gegeten. De Gamba’s zijn een aanrader. De bediening was vriendelijk. We wilden graag op het terras zitten maar helaas is dat niet rookvrij dus voor een tafel binnen gekozen.

How backwards this has gone. Both ordered a cutlet with fries, well that was all it was. Too few fries and too little mayonnaise. No vegetables, nothing. You'd be better off going to the snack bar for €46.50.

I would definitely go here again for lunch

It was pleasantly quiet on the terrace where we were sitting. There is another terrace on the square, it was a bit busier there.

Had a lovely lunch, gyros sandwich. Good portion, friendly service and welcome. You immediately feel at ease.

Delicious and cozy drinks or a bite to eat. Recently also sushi but not every day of the week. Super friendly staff and delicious food. I noticed that on Friday evenings later in the evening young people come here to have a nice drink. We went home on time. The satay is recommended. Way too much to eat (large portion)

Het duurde enorm lang voordat we geholpen werden. Na een halfuur met mn arm omhoog te hebben gezeten, kregen we de borrel kaart, waarna we nog een halfuur moesten wachten om de bestelling daadwerkelijk op te nemen. Dit verpeste helaas onze gezellige sfeer.. Jammer.

Had lunch yesterday. Restaurant was far from full. Still we had to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes for our lunch. Not to be repeated as far as we are concerned.

Wij hadden gereserveerd, maar goed ook, restaurant was tjokvol. Toch prima tafel gekregen. Het eten was meer dan goed. Het eten was echt lekker, vers en heet (qua temperatuur). De bediening, ondanks de volle zaak prima. Aardige behulpzame serveersters. Kunnen hoop andere restaurants nog wat van leren! Wij komen zeker terug!

Ate here again after a while, the service was quick and the dishes were well prepared.

Had a great meal on the heated terrace. Delicious break bread as a starter. The pork tenderloin satay was perfect. The chicken with mushrooms was also very tasty. 4 stars for the service because the side dishes only arrived after 5-10 minutes. Then your main course has been cooling for some time. Everything else was fine. Tasty drinks, friendly service. Reservations are useful because it was quite full (Saturday 6:30 pm).

Had a delicious meal on Saturday evening. There was a pleasant atmosphere and although it was quite busy, the service was quick. Waitresses are very friendly and attentive. Good price-quality ratio.

On May 18, 2024, we went to De Markies with 3 friends for a high cocktail as a birthday present. The evening started with a choice between a strong or sweet cocktail, without any explanation. We chose a sweet cocktail, which looked nice, but no one knew what it was exactly. When we asked for an explanation, this seemed a bit strange to the staff, but eventually someone came to explain what we were drinking. It took a while before any food arrived, even though this was supposed to be our evening meal. During the second cocktail, this time a strong one, we were given large glasses with a mix that looked like cola. Neither of us liked it. We tentatively asked for something else, for which we were willing to pay extra. In the end we got a Sex on the Beach, which was better than the "plér cola", but not everyone's preference. Shortly afterwards the food was served: deep-fried snacks, fries, cubes of cheese, raw ham, carpaccio, salmon, baguette and chips. Although the food was not bad, we did not find it special, certainly not suitable for a "high cocktail". Later we chose a cocktail from the menu ourselves, but again there were disappointments. One of us wanted a Mojito with Bacardi razz but this was not possible as the cocktails were prepared in advance. The Mojito itself tasted sweet and chemical, with wilted fruit and no crushed ice. After we indicated that this cocktail was undrinkable, we received the same cocktail back, barely adjusted. Disappointed, we debated whether we should go somewhere else or go home, but in the end we ordered another bottle of Pinot Grigio. This arrived lukewarm, with water and some ice cubes in the wine cooler, which was the last low point of the evening. The feeling of being watched and perhaps even gossiped about by the staff made the experience even more unpleasant. We took the half-full bottle of wine home and drank it with our own ice cubes. Ultimately, we found the high cocktail at De Markies to be a big disappointment and a waste of money. Later we saw a cocktail machine elsewhere and realized that the cocktails at De Markies probably came from some sort of computerized system, which explained the disappointing taste and lack of freshness. In our opinion, a high cocktail should really be something special: with fresh, well-prepared drinks and delicious food, something we completely missed at De Markies.

Very nice and nice service and a lot of nice women come there. Delicious Irish coffee. Nice service.

Great bbq and terrific atmosphere to spent quality time

Op een zonnige vrijdag 9 augustus 2024 zijn we op het terras gaan zitten met in de bestelling een latte machiato, Coca Cola Zero en 2 maal het appelgebak, één met slagroom, één zonder. De bestelling stond binnen de 4 minuten voor ons neus op tafel. Dit appelgebak was ovenheerlijk met nog crumble erboven op en lekkere kaneelkruiden erbij. Goed gedaan en zeer lekker.

On a sunny Friday, August 9, 2024, we sat on the terrace and ordered a latte machiato, Coca Cola Zero and two apple pies, one with whipped cream, one without. The order was on the table in front of us within 4 minutes. This apple pie was delicious with crumble on top and delicious cinnamon spices. Well done and very tasty.

What a nice place in the center of Rijssen. We had a lovely drink here in the conservatory. Was cozy! Staff may come by more often to ask if you want to order something.

Food is good. For my taste, it is very spicy at times. The restaurant looks clean and you can look right into the kitchen from the bar. My downside is that we (2 diners) did not receive the food at the same time at a quiet time. Otherwise great

Beautiful outdoor terrace with variable wind screens and windows. This allows you to create a wonderful environment with plenty of fresh air and sun or shade. Excellent food, nice menu and very tasty. Operation very neat. In short, a wonderful place to certify.

Food was good. Salmon was dry. It's a pity that smoking is allowed on the terrace where we were eating. People who eat indoors also smoke on the terrace.

Wij vonden de entourage wat gedateerd en voor een Grieks restaurant was er weinig Grieks te zien. We hebben er lekker gegeten, maar het was niet bijzonder

Great sandwich to get. Inside, something could be done about the standard leather chairs, it almost looks like an all you can eat ;-)

Op een rustige maandagavond prima gegeten. Een grote schotel diverse soorten vlees plus toebehoren. Goed bereid en lekker van gegeten. Voor ons als senioren zelfs te veel, maar als je honger hebt, vooral doen! Niet echt iets speciaals, vandaar vier bollen en geen vijf, maar voor ons een prima maaltijd. Vriendelijke bediening, dus wij bevelen de Markies aan.

Super friendly service. We first had coffee with delicious profiteroles/carrot cake and returned the next day for lunch. Had a delicious crispy chicken sandwich. The food is super tasty and the portions are large. And for a decent price. You don't get that like that in Utrecht 😁

You can sit comfortably there... we sat on the covered terrace nice and warm under the heather. And you could also smoke there, which was a real advantage. The chai latte and soup were very tasty The sandwich and the chocolate milk too

Bij een gerecht wat "stoofpotje" heet mag je een stoof gerecht/vlees verwachten. Helaas was dit het niet . Taaie rode,niet gare brokkenvlees in een soort rode tomaten puree vocht. Niet opgegeten en dus laten staan. We waren met 4 personen, als compensatie kreeg 1 persoon een gratis koffie. :((

Je kunt er erg lekker eten. Echter 45 min gewacht op een nieuw drankje bestellen. Heel erg mooi restaurant, je kijkt alleen de hele avond tegen een erg volle bar met alleen maar lege glazen. Wij zijn eerder weggaan door de slechte service. Overdag tijdens de lunch is de service wel ietsjes beter. Aanrader om te lunchen maar niet voor gezellig borrelen.

Top! Goed personeel, goed eten. Kortom echt een aanrader als je in de buurt bent😍😍 Zelf hebben we geluncht en hebben we een ijsje gegeten. De kip speciaal en bastogne coupe zijn een aanrader!!

Ontzettende lekkere lunch gehad, smaakte fantastisch. Bediening erg vlot en snel het eten op tafel. Nog even een babbeltje gemaakt en een heerlijke verse vijg gekregen om te proberen. Echt een aanrader.!!

Prijs /kwaliteit verhouding meer dan prima Wij waren met 7 en hadden elk wat anders maar iedereen heeft echt super lekker gegeten. Jammer was dat niet vermeld was dat de gamba's ongepeld geserveerd worden dan had diegene een andere keuze gemaakt. En wij zaten echt pal naast de bar en dat was met name voor mijn moeder echt te luidruchtig. Als we weer in de buurt zijn gaan we er zeker weer eten en vragen dan bij het reserveren om een andere plek.

Overheerlijk gegeten, super vriendelijk, meedenkende en behulpzaam personeel, representatieve en sfeervolle restaurant. Echte aanrader!!!

Nog nooit zo slecht gegeten. Zitten hier al 2 uur met een high cocktail arrangement. Krijgen na een uur pas eten en op de cocktail kunnen we nog lang wachten. NOOIT WEER Personeel is ook onaardig 🤮

Leuke plek om te borrelen, wel erg druk in het weekend. Prijs/kwaliteit is prima, het is soms wel lang wachten op drankjes.

Op een vrijdagavond hier gegeten. Het was best druk, ook omdat er een hele grote groep binnen was. Omdat er heel veel personeel in de bediening liep niet heel lang hoeven wachten op voor en hoofdgerecht. Nagerecht duurde wel wat lang. Vooraf gekozen voor saganaki, feta uit de oven, wat erg lekker was. Hoofdgerechten schotel apollo en mixed grill. Beide erg lekker met sappig vlees en de verschillende soorten vlees hadden ook verschillende kruiden. Als bijgerechten kregen we gefrituurde gekruide aardappelschijfjes en een salade met zoete dressing. Als nagerecht de Karamelexplosie was goed genoeg, lekker maar niet bijzonder. Alles bij elkaar lekker gegeten en prima avondje gehad.

Lekker eten. Goeie sfeer. Toiletten moeten vernieuwd worden.

Catering voor kerstdiner besteld. Super lekker, variërende gerechten en ruim voldoende in hoeveelheid. Voor herhaling vatbaar!
