Friendly service and a nice place to sit

I would strongly advise against this business after a very disappointing first (and last) order. Among other things, I ordered a chicken schnitzel, but instead I got a piece of burnt chicken fillet. The garlic sauce was watery and not at all tasty, and the rest of the food was also of mediocre quality. The whole thing came across as uninspired and sloppy. When I contacted them about this by phone, I was met with an irritated owner who showed little interest in my complaint. Instead of coming up with a solution, he only said that he would “do better next time”. No apologies, no compensation, no sign of customer friendliness whatsoever. Never again for me. Bad service and bad food — I cannot recommend this business.

Huge old farmhouse with various rooms/rooms and also space outside. We sat in a cozy, smaller room. There is a lot to look at, the chairs are comfortable. When we ordered drinks we received a delicious sandwich with spreads. Simple menu, with enough options to choose from. Delicious main course; stew and the other duck breast. Prepared with taste and beautifully served on a plate. Very friendly staff. Free parking in front of the door. If you come from the highway, it is less than a 3-minute drive.

Wir genossen ein 5 Gang Menü mit empfohlenen Weinen auf der Terrasse mit freiem Blick auf die wunderschöne alte Mühle „De Leijen“! *Mehr* geht eigentlich nich‘!

Had a very nice evening. Very friendly service, even got a lift to our sleeping place with our own car. Food more than fine, see the photos. Nicely decorated and the pancake mix for home is a nice extra :)
