Café 't Fust in Rotterdam Centrum

It was great!… Untill we went to pee outside, my friends got back inside and i was held outside by security but my friends got back inside with no problem. But I never got to go back inside! Never going back ever again!

Spend 150 euros+. Went outside to pee wasn’t allowed back inside. Hours before closing time. Bouncers had a (impersonal) agenda against me.

Unfortunately forgot the 010 burger order. But luckily it wasn't on the bill.. otherwise it was nice. Forgot my beer a couple of times but that worked out too ... ;) Paulener is a good beer

Last night, we went here to have a fun evening with a few girlfriends, until security wouldn't let us in and said that only people who were already inside were allowed in. Even though we saw several people who were allowed in. When we objected to that, they started treating us disrespectfully. This is the first and last time I will come here.

Friendly service (by three different people, 2 of whom spoke English). The food was fine, and the terrace is nice. The downside is that it is very noisy. I didn't know this beforehand because I was on a business trip; if I had noticed this in advance, I wouldn't have done it.

I just went to fust and i was being served by zuzia, she’s soo attentive sweet and really made everything a wonderful experience. definitely coming back for her !! LOVE HERR🫶🫶

Asked for an omaleet - told only fried eggs - sat down and ordered tea (English) and eggs with crispy bacon. 3 overcooked hard eggs and stringy undercooked bacon arrived. Tea weak and incipient. Hungry so ate it anyway. A waiter asked how the meal was - told him - when paying the high ish prices manager did not ask or show concern about my meal. Not recommended - won’t be back.

We were kicked out because security thought we were drunk, but we were just laughing and joking around with each other. The security was really bad. My friends and I have been coming here for years.

Had drinks and ordered snacks with 6 people.. The music inside is too loud... you almost have to shout to have a conversation. Small dance floor.. with bar stools, tables, and benches where you can definitely sit comfortably. Staff attentive and friendly..👍🍺

I wanted to join my friends to watch the Dutch national team. But I was refused entry because it was "full." Meanwhile, a group of white men were allowed in right after me. My friends asked the doorman to let me in, but I still wasn't allowed inside. It's a shame, because I wanted to watch football with friends, but it wasn't granted to me.

I came to enjoy myself to dance salsa and I was told that i had to create an account, complete a whole survey and wear a name tag. I social dance regularly each week at different places and was shocked and disappointed that I had to go through all these steps just to « see the dance space inside », we then walked in and the servers were running around in a rude way pushing past the guests. Honestly very disappointed for this environment, we went back to Coconut where the vibe and people was much more relaxed. Honestly get rid of the lengthy survey and nametags, its a horrible idea and useless.

Enjoyed a delicious Sauvignon Blanc and a lovely meal. The staff were very friendly.

I just ran away from this place furiosly. I have never been treated with such disrespect in my life. ​Today, saturday 6th of june, While I was sitting outside drinking with some friends, a waiter (or someone from the staff) poured water on me from above the awning. At first, it was just an accident but they proceeded to do it multiple times even after seeing me protesting. ​The most infuriating part? The guy was laughing and never apologized. Even after clearly noticing that I was getting soaked and was extremely upset, they continued to pour water from above the umbrella. Not once did anyone come down to help, and I never received a single apology for this unacceptable behavior. PS It wasnt just a little water, it was literally liters. Just consider that in the picture the clothes were already drying.

Went over the weekend, nice atmosphere, delicious food and top-notch staff. Nelia really made our evening complete!

The service was inattentive. We were still hungry for several portions of fries, but unfortunately, the staff wasn't paying attention. And we left unsatisfied. Despite notifying the staff, the service was nonexistent. They said, "Sorry, I only serve," and my colleague took all the orders. He didn't show up, so I went to the cash register and paid myself.

It took a while for them to realize we were inside (even though we'd been escorted to our table). But eventually, we were able to order drinks and, shortly after, our dinner. Then I asked for our waitress's name! What a lovely lady who truly understands how to please a customer. And then you get a beautiful, big, genuine smile for free! Her name is CHARLINE. I'd like to thank her again for her hospitality, her service, and her beautiful smile! Excellent!

Always pleasant, though I must say I preferred the atmosphere before the renovation. But on the other hand, I think the current interior is also very practical for the staff.

Cafe 't Fust The cafe is located in the heart of Rotterdam, right by the City Hall Square. It's a long-established restaurant and pub in Rotterdam. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and good. It has a very large and beautiful outdoor area that is heated in winter. The decor is modern rustic. There's a good selection of beers.

It's a good thing I can't give a 0. But I sat for over 30 minutes without being served, even though it wasn't busy and the servers were chatting pleasantly amongst themselves. I waved several times, but no one came over.

The service could be better, they forgot the second drink I ordered.

We had lunch here on December 30, 2025. The service and management were very friendly. They were also very helpful in accepting our dinner vouchers and processing them in our bill. The food and drinks were delicious, and the menu offered good and varied dishes. And the cozy dining room was pleasantly warm. Highly recommended!

A really nice place to watch a Feyenoord match. A bit pricey though; a plastic cup of rosé and a plastic cup of beer were €13.40.

Definitely don't go to this place in Rotterdam. The "propper" at the door tries to lure you onto the terrace with the "first drink is free." We weren't allowed to order anything on the terrace, which was already incredibly strange, and then we were suddenly allowed to join the last round. Drinks arrived, we sat for three minutes, and then we were asked to bring our glasses inside because the terrace closes at 1:00 AM. The last round could still be ordered at 12:50 AM, and we hadn't been told about that beforehand. We were also asked to pay immediately, even though the drinks were supposed to be free—all lies from this pathetic establishment to lure you in. There's a way to get people in honestly, without being a pain in the ass. All in all, we left our drinks and quickly left.

I had a lovely drink with my friends. Despite it being quite cold outside, the terrace was surprisingly warm and cozy, creating a lovely atmosphere. Everything was well-organized, and it felt really comfortable to sit there. Sebastiaan and Sharline, thank you for the cute Santa hats and especially for the super fun evening. 't Fust is definitely a place you'll be happy to return to! 🎄🍻

The waiter made an inappropriate comment about my wife's breasts. We've had a lot of fun here, but since that guy started working here, you don't see me anymore.

Super friendly staff. The service was excellent. The drinks were excellent and served quickly. Tip for those who frequent the terrace: don't forget to take orders from the corners as well. I had to wait a bit longer there than if I were sitting in the middle.

Yesterday (November 27th) I had a wonderful meal and drinks with some Scottish friends. That wasn't the problem; the food was delicious, the drinks were good, the atmosphere was pleasant, and, as always, the wait staff was excellent. However, the restroom attendant (well, more like a fishwife) was very aggressive and cursed with illnesses. My Scottish friends were completely surprised that being a good customer meant having to pay for the restroom. As long as it was clean, that was fine, but it wasn't. The attendant was vulgarly and aggressively collecting money, but no way were they going to clean the restrooms. It boiled down to just shut up and pay. I personally witnessed a man say, "Pay? I'm spending a fortune here and then I have to pay for the restroom?" I got the feeling he was joking rather than being serious. Then the attendant cursed the man with illnesses, and his mother wasn't spared either. The man then simply said, "My... mother? You must mean your own... mother," and then went to the restroom. Meanwhile, the restroom attendant had alerted security, and so the man was forced to pay after his visit. The fake attendant made everything up because the man was supposedly aggressive, but he wasn't. The man should have paid, but it wasn't worth it because the overwrought and completely incompetent attendant made such a vulgar fuss, it was simply cringeworthy. I always have a great time at 't Fust and hope this negative experience won't deter me from going there more often in the future. My advice: Make the restroom visit free or hire a decent attendant who can behave normally and actually cleans. After all, that's what you're paying for. Not to be threatened and have to stand with your soles in the pee for €0.50 per visit.

Did a beer tasting. Great service, very tasty beers from the Noordt brewery with excellent accompanying dishes. Friendly staff!

The bartender at Fust behaves like a power-hungry teenager instead of a restaurant employee. Screaming, threatening, and shoving—outrageous behavior that any normal establishment would immediately address. And as if that weren't enough, drinks simply disappear when you go to the bathroom or smoke outside.

The food is great, the drinks are good, the service is mediocre, but if you're there all afternoon and then you have to pay to use the restroom, well, then you're really out of luck...

We thought we'd have a nice meal on this terrace with our team after the hospitality trade fair. Unfortunately, it wasn't what we'd hoped for: the staff were very disinterested, and the food was dry and lukewarm. You could have earned more; we were very thirsty. We had to ask for everything ourselves, even to have our table cleared after about half an hour. Such a shame, as the menu looked promising.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere in the café, but the sound/volume was too shrill and hurt my ears. It would be better if the music was a bit less harsh, to make the experience even more enjoyable. Did anyone else experience this?

Unsafe environment, extremely unprepared professionals, the security guards are completely untrained, I do not recommend this place. Terrible. I'm a woman and was pushed by a security guard and fell to the ground. Terrible, horrible place.

Last Saturday I wanted to watch football at your place, but security refused me access because I didn't want to order anything and only wanted to watch football at your place.

Good food and their own beer was nice. I went as it came up in a search for Sports Bars but all they had on was the Dutch equivalent of MOTD or something and then baseball, rather than a range of things including the German and French games which were on that night so not what I'd consider to be a reliable option if you want to see a match.

We come here especially from Vaassen Gelderland to eat and drink, it's all worth it, the food is good and the atmosphere is unique

Today was my last visit to Café 't Fust. After a glass of wine, I wanted to use the restroom. To my surprise, I had to pay 50 cents. When I pointed this out, I was told the restroom attendant is "independent" and earns money from restroom visits, and that she had already arrived early because of a Feyenoord match. For me, it's simple: if you run a restaurant and charge high prices for food and drinks, restroom visits should be included for paying customers. It's not about the 50 cents, but about the principle and customer service, which is clearly lacking here. The restroom attendant was also rude and insolent. I finished my glass, paid, and left. I had planned to grab a bite to eat, but I won't be doing that here, and I won't be returning. There are plenty of other establishments in Rotterdam where you're treated decently as a customer.

Enjoying the afternoon on the terrace, you have to pay for the restroom every time you use it. I find this bizarre; I've never experienced this in a cafe or restaurant before. So the tip ultimately went to the restroom attendant for the times we used the restroom. Better to just sit somewhere else next time.

My friends and I wanted to have drinks with them all on Friday night. We wanted to reserve a spot on the terrace just to be safe. During a phone call with a staff member, we were told we weren't welcome with a large group consisting mostly of men. Personally, I find this ridiculous.

Sat outside on the terrace. I can't give an opinion about the food, because we only had a few drinks. The staff was friendly and the drinks were served quickly. The taste was fine. Small point of criticism: the chairs outside on the terrace are quite narrow. I have somewhat wider hips (but certainly not severely overweight) and I couldn't sit very comfortably here unfortunately. The person I was with also had the same problem. Also came back here on Saturday evening for the "nightlife" and that was also well organized. Free entrance, good music, nice staff both at the door, the toilets, and behind the bar, who also remember what you ordered the last time and then just ask "the same again?". The toilets were clean and apart from one incident (which was resolved very quickly by security) no further hassle inside.

Great bar for going out, a bit expensive but worth it. Hell, they didn't have Leffe Blond beer. In addition, we had to wait another 30 minutes for 2 desperadoes that took almost no effort to make. the evening was fine but the service could really be better!

If you are eating and drinking here, you have to pay for the toilet. So I find a reason not to go there anymore.

We ordered mixgrill for two and everything was delicious. I was pleased with the large amount of vegetables and two delicious sauces that deliciously complemented the dish. The only negative was that you had to wait a long time for the staff to pay the bill, but the dishes were brought quickly and everything was delicious, so we will come again☺️

On Saturday, November 23, I went to Café 't Fust with 3 friends in the evening. We ordered drinks which went well until about 10:00 PM. At 10:19 PM we ordered drinks again which we had still not received 20 minutes later. There was no line at the bar, so that wasn't the problem. The waiter asked us to move because they wanted to build a cloakroom where we were sitting. At that moment we immediately asked where our drink was because we still had not received it. The waiter, with a tanned complexion, long black braids and high sneakers, told us she was going to arrange it. 10 minutes later we still had no drink. Two of us decided to point this out to the waiter again. She immediately got angry because we had already asked “a few minutes ago”. After about 5 minutes the waiter comes angrily and throws our drinks on the table and walks away without saying anything. We wondered what we had done wrong because we continuously treated her in a decent and respectful manner. We decided to ignore it and finish our drink. We had ordered two beers and one Disaronno coke. When drinking the drink I thought it tasted strange. I let one of my friends taste it and he also thought it tasted weird. Now it turned out that the waiter had served lemonade instead of Disaronno coke. We had had some drinks, but were still conscious enough to know that this was not the drink we ordered. We decided to go back to the bar and the bar employee added some more Disaronno to the drink. (BTW: I don't recommend mixing this together). It was very childish of the waiter to serve lemonade when the order was clear. t Fust was always a nice place, but now we won't be going there for a while. UPDATE: the owner has resolved the matter by transferring the amount of two drinks back.

Coffee was like water. The waitress came and demanded the bill with the world, we had not finished drinking coffee as if she wanted to walk away.

You sit very comfortably. We sat outside and ate in a warm ambience in autumn thanks to the heaters. Service staff came by every now and then to ask if everything was okay. The beer price is good by Dutch standards and the food was good too. We felt very comfortable.

We went here for lunch together on a Sunday afternoon and that turned out to be a bad choice. The male waiter was busier chatting than with his guests. A while after ordering, I see our meals in the distance near the kitchen under a heat lamp. I watched in amazement for 10 minutes as the service just wouldn't get there. I walked to the bar myself where the barmaid was kissing a man deeply. When I indicated that our food had been ready for 10 minutes, she said to call someone and the man said: It's under a heat lamp anyway. I indicated that it probably wouldn't make it any better. Finally the order was on the table, I received a wooden disposable fork with my half-cold old fries. I didn't have to ask the male waiter anything because he sat down at a customer's table. I ate the top fries off and left the rest. Raised my hand to pay and I was actually seen, but also forgotten. I got up to look for the servant but he was lost. Until his colleague saw him next door. Meanwhile, under the heat lamp, I saw other meals piling up. Ultimately I paid and regretted paying but I was really done with it. A real shame for such a restaurant! Also from our fun outing.

If you order a Coke Zero for a regular price, you will receive a glass with ice cubes instead of a bottle that you can certainly assume comes from a pump or large bottle. A wonderful revenue model for the operator. If they do that with all soft drinks they will make a huge profit. Don't sit there anymore

The bartender is so rude. Here is my small sad experience, on Tuesday around 9 pm I came in went to the bar asked for gin tonic , the bartender answered to me in Dutch eventhough I asked in English , so I asked once again to repeat in English so he said he is busy and he can not prepare drink for me I was shocked by the answer for few moments trying to get the sense out of it by asking who said that ? “ asking if it’s a place policy or something “ and then his answer was I said it ….. that was after 2-3 times of ignoring.
