This really is a fun pub. Friendly staff, nice owners, and cool customers. If you want to just hang out and chat over a nice beer and enjoy a live performance every now and then, this is the perfect spot in Rockanje.

Charming, quaint, very cozy, few tourists and fair prices. Top location and open all year round.

Haven't been for a while, but thankfully, on December 19, 2025, we're back! The atmosphere was warm, the beer was cold, and Peter and Fred were happy! Enjoyed it! 👍😃🍺🎅🎄

Fantastisch cafeetje!!! Zo'n vriendelijke cafebazin! Heeft al het mogelijke verricht om op 2e paasdag ons toch nog huisgemaakte ballen met brood te geven! Heerlijk kruidig!!! Alvast bedankt voor de fijne middag!!

Love the place, British contractors living in Rockanje, The corner made us feel like home, brought Dutch snacks out to us as the beer (Hertog Jan) and laughter flowed. Check out Molecaten, when in season, for good Caravan accommodation.
