Had a fantastic party there. Highly recommended, well-organized and with great prices. Beer varieties galore.

Popped in for a "pint". I was charged 10 euros for a London black. Is this how much they always charge or was I ripped off because I'm not from around here? Either way, I won't be returning - what a dismal experience

Had spareribs here again. It is a cozy café-restaurant. The spareribs were delicious and the portions were more than sufficient. The service was very friendly. I highly recommend it.

I have now been treated very poorly by the same man twice. The first time was quite a while ago, when I wanted to take away two portions of spareribs. I do that quite often. I only wanted the spareribs, but I received two complete meals. Which I had to pay for. When I mentioned it, the man just started laughing a bit. I threw away the salad and fries because that was exactly what I didn't want; otherwise, I would have ordered them! The second time was a short while ago. I called in advance to make a reservation and mentioned that I wanted to come and eat spareribs. I asked if they were busy, and they weren't. One table was occupied by a party, and otherwise, it was practically empty. Only two people were sitting at the bar. I ordered from the man I had spoken to on the phone earlier. Waiting for the spareribs really took almost two hours. The man was busy training a new guy. He considered that more important than the spareribs, which is what I called specifically for. The lady working there said sorry, "We thought you were waiting for more people." It's really weird when you call half an hour in advance and make a reservation specifically for spare ribs for two, and then upon arrival also make it known that you are starving.

We had a delicious meal yesterday at Eetcafé Kont van het Paard. Naturally, we chose their specialty: the stew, and that was absolutely a good choice! Wonderfully tender, flavorful, and truly the kind of dish you just keep enjoying. 😋 Additionally, we were served incredibly kindly and hospitably by Isabel and her colleague. A cozy atmosphere, tasty food, and great service make this a place you’d love to return to. In short: highly recommended! We will definitely be back for that delicious stew. 🍲👏

Cozy place, beautiful in an old style. When reserving, they indicated we had to arrive an hour later; when we secretly went a little early, it was almost empty. They teased us with the menu that we would get unlimited fries, but when we asked for it, it turned out not to be possible; there were ‘no fries left’. A table next door did get them. The spareribs were tasty, but as a vegetarian, you get ripped off hard here: 19 euros for a small, soaking wet round quiche, and 16 euros for 4 mini croquettes with beer syrup that you have to search for. A waste of money. They did have Hertog on tap, though.

Very dark brewery, quite busy. Plenty of beer specialties to choose from. Small menu. I had spare ribs and a pilsner.

What a great place, nice and extremely professional staff! Incredibly cozy location. A real traditional pub/tapperij! Definitely worth a visit when you are in Brielle!

Absolutely fine. First time visiting with our neighbors; the dog was allowed to come along too and was spoiled. Had a fantastic meal, with a nice salad on the side, as well as some vegetables, and delicious, well-fried fries. Delicious cream puff with ice cream and whipped cream for dessert. Super friendly staff. Tastefully decorated. Reasonable prices. You will come back here.

A piece of historic Brielle with delicious, locally brewed beer on tap. The terrace is a bit cramped, but you are sitting in a special spot here. Simply great if you love a traditional brown pub. Plus, the food here is truly delicious!

't Kont van het Paard is what you would expect from an old-fashioned inn, but then tasty! We ate the deliciously tender chicken thigh satay with good fries and salad. Recommended!

You bet, in ’t Kont van ’t Paard it will be bubbling with conviviality in the late hours. A tavern with such a name must guarantee a good story, a warm welcome and a tap that keeps running. Briels beer that is surprisingly tasty. Everything is right: atmosphere, plate and glass.

Great cafe with a very nice beer menu. As a group of men we always choose the High Beer. Tasty beers of your choice and snacks for the necessary vitamins 😂

Amazing experience. Went here for their all you can eat spareribs after receiving a recommendation for this place. Super friendly staff with super knowledge of their very extensive beer menu containing a whooping 115 beers. Very cool how they have their beer menu presented through Untappd. Very reasonable prices for the food and the beers. Beware that the first rib portion they serve is huge already if you go with their all you can eat. They constantly ask if you want more and if you say yes, it's being delivered in a matter of minutes. Amazing. About five different flavors to choose from and you can keep switching between them with every new portion to try them all. I went here by bus coming from Rotterdam/Schiedam and that was very well doable. Heard other people complain that parking is a struggle around here. They also have a few board games you can play. Reservations recommended as they don't have that many tables. Will definitely return.

As many stated already, good ribs with bbq sauce, pay 5 euros more and get unlimited. Fries could be better. Nice dark bar, make sure you take a big enough table for the food. Worth going back.

Great restaurant. Spare ribs were superb. We indicated that we had little time because we had to catch the boat to Hull. Nina made sure we still had time for dessert and sent us away right on time. Thanks for everything. We will definitely come back.

Heerlijke keuze uit verschillende soorten bier. Elke keer weer een nieuwe verrassing wat er vers op de tap aanwezig. Deze keer een heerlijke perzik bier op. Super lekker. Wel even binnen vragen, mocht je buiten gaan zitten en er niemand aanwezig is buiten met uit serveren. Dan wordt je gelijk geholpen! Vriendelijke personeel. Middenin het centrum van Brielle mocht u hier een keer op vakantie zijn. Kunt u deze zaak eigenlijk niet links laten liggen. De moeite waard om een van de biertjes uit te proberen... Ook heerlijk met een eventuele bittergarnituur!

Bij toeval in dit 'Bier & eetcafé' gegeten . . . . niet alleen heel gezellig, maar ook heel lekker eten. Wat een overheerlijke spareribs, die met het 'biersiroop' is een echte aanrader, mals van het bot en overheerlijke smaak! Op aanraden van het personeel wat begeleidende biertjes erbij genuttigd . . .geweldig!

Super leuk eetcafé. Wil je dineren? Ruim van te voren reserveren!!!

Hier voor het eerst gegeten. Brood vooraf was niet echt speciaal, wat wit en bruinbrood met knoflooksaus en kruidenboter. De spareribs daarentegen, in ons geval met bbq saus en met biersaus, vonden wij heel erg lekker, een aanrader. De ijscoupe met amarena kersenijs komt van de ijszaak, wel lekker, maar had van mij meer verschillende smaken ijs in de coupe mogen zitten. De cheesecake was oké. De bediening was vlot en vriendelijk. De zaak een mooi oud pand met een langdurige geschiedenis. Wij komen hier zeker nog eens terug.

Goed eten en de het bier menu is Top!

Niet eerder zulke smaakvolle spareribs gegeten. Grote porties. En als je een doggy bas wil valt er wel een mouw aan te passen. Snitzel lekker dik en mals. Sausje erbij had het helemaal compleet gemaakt. Heerlijke frites. Acceptabele prijzen. Pandje met eeuwenoude geschiedenis.

Fijne rustige avond, supervriendelijke barman haha, lekker drankje gedaan, gewoon genoten!!

Scheinbar einen schlechten Tag erwischt aber die Bedienung war leider äußerst unfreundlich ohne wenig hilfsbereit. Die Getränkekarte via QR, grundsätzlich eine gute Sache, konnte aufgrund fehlenden Empfangs nicht geladen werden. Die Thekenkraft war auch nicht in der Lage eigene Empfehlungen auszusprechen, sodass ich den Laden schweren Herzens und ohne neu eingecheckte Biere verlassen habe.

Mooie kroeg waar je lekker kunt eten ! Ruime porties (ik haf spare rubs, tafelgenoot draadjesvlees), schappelijke prijzen en erg mooie bieren !! Pareltje !!
