Cafe 't Laar in Oerle

What a lousy place... My boyfriend ordered here for lunch at home. The separate bread roll he had ordered wasn't included. My ham sandwich was super sparsely filled. Literally 2 slices of meat stuffed with lettuce, instead of the promised red onion. The spring onion shown in the photo wasn't on it either. On top of that, it was cold. Maybe I had strange expectations myself, but I had expected warm ham. Poorly filled sandwiches, not tasty, bad service.

Fine tuna salad sandwich, but way too expensive. After paying, I thought I was getting half a baguette, but when I opened it, it was just a small (bake-off) roll with tuna salad and a few lettuce leaves. 7 euros 50 🫣. Even the absurd prices along the highway are lower.

Nice traditional pub with good value for money. Lots of food choices and it is delicious.

Nice people, nice bartender. But that applies to most traditional neighborhood pubs in Tilburg. If you live nearby, stop by sometime! I've had sandwiches there too, also tasty!

Eaten there for the first time; the food was fine, but the cappuccino wasn't. No frothed milk on your cappuccino. I mentioned this and was told that the machine works that way. No response regarding a replacement or anything else. I suspect the machine settings aren't right or there's a new employee unfamiliar with the machine. The atmosphere is old-fashioned; it's a traditional pub trying to be a lunchroom as well, but this doesn't work. It was also cold; the heating only came on after we were almost finished eating. I think a full home delivery service for the sandwiches would work best, and nothing more. As mentioned, the food was good.

Went there for lunch for the first time today; the service still has a lot to learn. Could be a bit friendlier. The food was good. Compliments to the chef. It is not a lunchroom, more of a brown pub. Cold and unwelcoming atmosphere. We will certainly not be going back here.

No respect for a customer. Order not arrived on time. Just waiting 1,5h and still not here. Reaching them by the phone impossible. Not recommended if you value your time cuz they for sure not gonna.

The first time, the food was delivered far too early, and it was later delivered again at the requested time. However, the food was cold and the portions were very small. I can't help but feel like we received the same order as the one that was delivered too early. Furthermore, the spicy chicken was barely spicy. Truly disappointing, and all that for almost 12 euros per portion. I will never order anything from here again.

Delicious food here, definitely stop by, you can't miss this in your life!

Got 5 sandwiches yesterday, delicious, generously filled, great flavor, and they certainly don't skimp! The price is reasonable compared to the quality and the amount of stuff on the sandwich.

Had lunch a few times, always very tasty and fresh! The toasted sandwiches are delicious, highly recommended. 😍👌🏼

Top lunch spot! At Lunchroom Het Laar you really get value for your money. Richly filled sandwiches, fresh and packed with flavour. The chicken soup is exactly as it should be: well filled and full of flavor. Highly recommended for anyone who likes a hearty, tasty lunch!

Very nice cafe where we watched the match Willen II against FC Den Bosch. Very nice atmosphere with good staff, lots of free snacks and tasty beer. They were also received very hospitably by real Willem II supporters and had a nice party after the 3-1 victory.

Old stuff, dirty toilet, one for 70 people. Music too loud

Can't beat this place for breakfast. The coffee is excellent and the staff are friendly.
