Wat een slechte zaak is dit. De cappuccino ‘s waren lauw,er zat geen schuimlaag op. Op onze klacht werd gezegd dat het koffieapparaat geen schuimlaag geeft. Bied dan ook geen cappuccino aan op de kaart. De muntthhee en gewone koffie waren lauw,dit werd wel vervangen na een klacht. De jonge ober had alleen aandacht voor zichzelf,was continu met zijn haar bezig voor de spiegel. We begrijpen nu waarom het terras bijna leeg was. Wat een slechte service,wij komen er nooit weer.

my favorite spot! very tasty, heavenly sweet potatoes and I LOVE the vegetable bitterballs! food is too expensive and often little/burnt... but the drinks are okay - especially for that price. the busiest is of course happy hour.

A cozy place where you could come back to every now and then. They have a wall with about 40 (special) beers that you can tap yourself with a card that you buy there on the spot. The biggest drawback is the many fruit flies that also crawl into some tap pipes, so that (especially with the sweeter/fruity ones) you also get some fruit flies into your beer when tapping. However, after reporting this to the staff, your draft beer with fruit flies will be exchanged for a new freshly tapped beer without the fruit flies, so in terms of that the service is absolutely great again! It's also nice to be able to taste 4-5 different beers for 10 euros (depending on how full you fill your glass). In addition to the tap wall, they also have cocktails, wines, bites and other dishes, so definitely a good place to eat and then stay and try some different beers.

Even with Pink Monday, the service at the bar was super friendly and correct.

Their tap beer ordering system was difficult to understand without help from the waiters/bartenders. You order a card and top it up with anything you like. When they give you the physical card, you can go to the 40+ choices of draft beer wall and choose a beer to your liking. Get a glass and put your card to the screen of the beer, pour the beer as much as you are allowed to with your card. You can give the card back and get the deposit (€2) and the money you didn’t spend back.

Enjoy a snack and a drink in the afternoon on a warm (slightly stuffy) day. But we hardly saw any staff and unfortunately ordered everything via the QR code. That was a bit of a shame. Still really enjoyed sitting, eating and drinking.

Nice atmosphere of the place. Very nicely decorated. We liked the food and I think it's because of the food that we want to come back someday. Beer taps add uniqueness to this place. A separate menu for children was also very important to us when choosing this place. Overall, we recommend it 😊

A very large selection of beers. Very good location and nice decor. A place teeming with life. Service a bit confused. I waited for a long time until someone finally came to the bar where I was waiting. There are a lot of tables outside, nice atmosphere, lamps. Unfortunately very dirty. There's garbage everywhere and a lot of tables that haven't been cleaned up after customers.

Food is ok but unfortunately some of the staff don't know anything about what they serve

Very nice for a drink and snack! But not for dinner, food is very simple and low quality. We had dinner with a group and everyone had stomach problems afterwards.

We had a pleasant surprise here. We were looking for a place for lunch. I myself am very difficult with lunches. I'm just not easily satisfied. And that often starts with the map. A lot of it just doesn't appeal to me. That's why I don't like to have lunch at a diner or replace my lunch with dinner. Here I ordered a teriyaki chicken salad. I received a large filled plate. I'd like to see that before lunch. Delicious leafy vegetables including spinach, freshly baked chicken thighs and oiled Turkish bread. The taste was very tasty. I drank a very tasty chardonnay with it. Furthermore, the tent looks hip and fresh. I think you can also have a very nice evening here. I will have to come back again for that. If I ever have to have lunch somewhere in Tilburg again, I will definitely make a detour to 't Taphuys.

I believe all the reviews that say good things about the food and the overall experience. I cannot however rate this, since I had to wait 30 minutes for a beer and once they told me that there was still to wait more I just asked and got the refund. There were other people doing the same which is mind blowing for me if I was the manager of that place. I’m really sorry but this is just unacceptable and deserves one star regardless of everything else. Avoid this place if you see that it’s too full.

Heel gezellige locatie om te borrelen maar niet gaan eten! Na reservering voor 14 personen waren er niet genoeg stoelen, de tafel plakte héél erg en was vies. Verschillende gerechten zoals de kipsate waren lauw. De porties friet waren heel erg klein. In de kipsalade van 20 euro zaten 3 stukjes kip. De steak was goed maar voor 25 euro verder heel karig; geen sausje, een droog bergje sla op het bord gemikt met een paar stukje tomaat zonder dressing. Voor 11 euro veel mosselen in het mosselpannetje maar waterig, weinig smaak en ook lauw. Het was echt veel te duur voor wat er werd geserveerd.

I have often visited Taphuys Arnhem and have now also visited Tilburg. It is a lot smaller than the Arnhem one and unfortunately also less tappable. But good food and nice atmosphere. It was quite busy and pleasant. A small downside: The tables are quite small, so it would be useful if the waiters were a bit more proactive and brought empty glasses.

Leuke plek om wat te drinken en iets kleins te eten. Ondanks dat ik mijn tapkaart aan de tap vergeten was, en er nog zo'n 15 euro op stond, kreeg ik een nieuwe mét tegoed. Mooie service. Het eten was zeker lekker. We hadden de gyoza, bitterballen en bao buns (niet de juiste gekregen, maar niet zo erg) als appetizer en de smash burger als hoofd. Enige minpuntje is dat de wijntap er niet meer is, terwijl dit wel online gecommuniceerd staat. Daar had ik anders wel gebruik van gemaakt.

Friendly and fast service. Even after your first order, they continue to circulate regularly, which is great. Snacks are tasty and the cocktails are delicious! The payment system is convenient, you can pay your outstanding bill yourself via the QR code and do not have to wait for someone to pay your bill.

Nice that you can tap your own beer. It's best to do that, because the service is not that fast.

Nice to have a self-tapping bar, but you have to be an expert in tapping beers. A glass of beer that would cost €5 elsewhere is now twice as much if you pour it incorrectly. No, this model is not for me.

Lekkere cocktails & prima service

Je kan zelf online bestellen via QR code alleen drankjes worden gelijk opgenomen als je gaat zitten dus die moet je dan apart betalen, wat ik zelf beetje onhandig vond. Maar verder lekker gegeten. Mexicaanse tosti is een aanrader :)

Eten is goed en lekker, maar helaas is er net een wijziging in het menu geweest, waardoor er weinig te kiezen over was. Cocktails waren erg matig. Biertjes waren goed en het concept is erg leuk. Alleen niet erg tevreden over de inrichting van het restaurant. Bijna alleen maar 'hoge' stoelen/krukken, wat niet lekker zit en daarnaast staat het ook erg krap op elkaar, waardoor het een uitdaging is om bij sommige taps te komen ;)

Geweldige sfeer enzo, erg lekker bier en cocktails. Heel de avond genieten. Doordeweeks echter erg onervaren barpersoneel, zou alleen donderdag-zaterdag gaan als je lekker wil drinken.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the restaurant. The food was delicious, although I must say the kitchen staff didn't appear very attractive, and one of the servers, the one with the prominent nose, seemed a bit stern. Nevertheless, I had a great time at the tapas house and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Nice atmosphere, but not the busiest place when I was there. Kind waiters, and a handy qr code system to order your drinks. It took a little long for our drinks to get there considering how busy it was, but it was not a big issue. Also, google maps states that it is open until 1, but it closed at 12 iirc.

Echt een super leuke ervaring, personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het concept was erg vernieuwend en het was makkelijk om nieuwe dingen te proberen. Ook fijn dat je niet lang hoeft te wachten om te kunnen bestellen, want er is een werkende QR-code. Maar ze komen ook aan je tafel om het op te nemen als je dat wilt.

It was surprising that there were hardly any customers in the gastropub at lunchtime. It is easy to order online. You just have to scan a QR code on the table to see the menu. After a very short wait, the drinks arrive and a little later the food. The service is friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant. However, you can still smell that a lot of beer was sold the day before. I did not notice this in another branch of the chain. The food was okay, but not outstanding. If the weather is nice, you can enjoy the many outdoor seats of the Gastopub.

Altijd een vriendelijke bediening die zorgen voor een korte wachttijd

Wat een aanfluiting voor een ogenschijnlijk leuk concept! Ruim 25 minuten wachten op de drankjes die je niet zelf kan tappen om vervolgens een glas te krijgen waar de lippenstift van de vorige gast nog op staan. Het bedienend personeel heeft bijzonder weinig oog voor de gasten. De trap richting de wc is niet afgewerkt waardoor gasten die op een zitplaats (bank) onder de trap plaatsnemen onder het grond gelopen worden, totaal niet fris.

Ik en mijn man komen hier eigenlijk altijd. Als wij een drankje doen in de stad, is dit de plek waar wij heen gaan. Je hebt een QR code die je kunt scannen en ze staan binnen no-time aan je tafel. Echter is dit helaas niet meer het geval en hebben ze de kaart ineens veranderd, waardoor er qua bestellen een beperkte keus is. Tevens duurt het inmens lang voordat je bestelling er is. Na navraag gedaan te hebben, willen ze dat het concept over gaat naar zelf tappen. Dit is iets wat we, in elk geval wij dan, absoluut niet willen. Dit is ongezellig. De keus voor ons is dus enorm beperkt geworden qua bier. Helaas zijn ze nu dus een vaste klant kwijt, terwijl wij dit altijd als aanrader gaven aan iedereen... jammer.

Gedoe om überhaupt je drankjes te bestellen, vervolgens duurt het een eeuwigheid voor het er is en dan ook nog incompleet,dan ben ik er al klaar mee. Zou hier niet zo snel op het terras gaan zitten door bovenstaande. Verder leuke toffe plek met heerlijke aperol limoncello, vriendelijke bediening. Alleen het concept vind ik minder..

Drogo i brudno ( na ogródku) zaniedbane krzesła i stoly. 15 minut oczekiwania na piwo. Napewno tam nie wrócę, a szkoda bo fajny pomysł z kranami z różnym piwem.

Cool concept with tapping your own beers, however the functionality was so-and-so. Some of the taps didn't work and the system was kinda confusing. Vibe in there wasn't quite right for me personally, but maybe I was just there on a bad night.

Het concept van zelf je biertje tappen is leuk bedacht.. maar als ik borreltje wil doen vindt ik het fijner om gewoon bediend te worden.. en dat bestellen via qr code vindt ik maar niks, heb liever gewoon dat een serveerster de bestelling komt vragen. Via qr kan je geen advies of suggesties vragen wat lekker is om te proberen. Voor de rest is het er wel ok

Leuk terras maar bestellen gaat uitsluitend via QR-code. Niet gezellig, wel omslachtig. Voor een niet-standaard bier moet je eerst een tapkaart bestellen en dan zelf gaan tappen... Ik heb liever dat vakmensen dat voor me doen.

It's a nice place to hangout with friends and family. Very friendly staff and you can order by app or use the card for self tapping. You pay a bit extra for the experience and of course a lot for the foam if you are not good at drafting 😜; nonetheless, it's a nice experience. The food is a bit pricey but it is pretty good and worth a try. Only unfortunate that other taphuys cards don't work, so now I ended up having 3 of them from different locations. Hopefully, they fix this at some point.
