Excellent pub with loads of different beers from draught, kind people and live music. Their terrace in the sun on a historical square is perfect to spend a whole afternoon or evening.

Was too early for an appointment with a friend where she had suggested this opportunity that was unknown to me. While waiting we had a nice chat with the manageress who was exceptionally friendly. Definitely worth repeating, there is a super relaxed atmosphere.

First day back on the terrace, spoke to and saw so many nice and famous people. It's not the location but the people that make something wow.

Nice cafe where during events there is often a lot to do outside on the square with nice bands. I find the system with the deposit cups quite clumsy, especially when getting beer for groups, but otherwise nicely organized!

Cold chicken, expensive and very lazy disinterested staff. Trying to compete with the Mac but it doesn't work this way. I won't go here again

Nice brown pub. There is a nice cozy atmosphere. Very nice for a pub crawl. The waitress was a bit blunt but that could also be due to the crowds. The rest were very friendly. Definitely recommended to visit.

Nice people, nice drinks, perfect place in Leiden! They often organise a pub-quiz as well! One of my favourite pubs in Leiden!

Ik vond deze gezellige plek in het centrum van Leiden erg leuk, leuke sfeer, heerlijk bier en snacks, prachtige decoraties, heel vriendelijk personeel, ik wil Malein speciaal bedanken voor de uitstekende service❤️

Een ouderwets gezellig (bruin) café met heel gezellig personeel en vaak goede live muziek. je moet hier gewoon geweest zijn 😀

Leuk cafe terras is ook goed vertoeven binnen hangen leuke reclamebordjes enige min punt zijn de plantjes die hebben iets meer aandacht nodig vandaar 4 sterren

Wat was het leuk om mijn stamkroeg uit de jaren '70 en '80 weer eens te bezoeken. En wat blijkt? Er komen nog steeds een aantal dezelfde mensen........

Gewoon mooie zaterdag in de zonnetje, goed gezelschap en leuk publiek. Geweldige meid (vrouw) die van wanten weet in de bediening. Er zijn maar weinig van dit soort leuke zaken te vinden meer tegenwoordig. Chapo.

10€ for a pint is a bit too much even in the Netherlands but the place is nice.

Spijs daar gekomen biertje en een hapje belooft 5 euro kregen klein biertje en stukje chocolade waarde 3.duro Rare opmerking over onze wensen geen varkensvlees Dat komt goed uit hebben hier een grote SCHAAL CHOCOLA STAAN HEEL MINZAAM EN KOMN HIER NOOIT. MEER WAS OOK VIES EN SMOEZELIG GEEN SFEER

Leuke bruine kroeg in het hart van Leiden, op zondag vaak live muziek.

Gezellige plek. De straat is een doorloop dus je kan leuk mensen kijken. Bediening is niet heel vlot

Leuk café in het hartje van Leiden met een groot assortiment aan bieren op de tap. De kelner/eigenaar was heel vriendelijk.

Jammer dat je geen verzoeknummer mag indienen . Verder prima

Friendly staff. Great selection of mostly Belgian beers. 20 draft beers. Mix of the public is locals, both students and working class, and tourists. Terrace in the sun for the major part of the day. Live music on Thursday and Sunday. Situated close to Leiden hotspots but not too crowded (pic from Kings Night/Kings Day 2022, which are crowded).

Heerlijk, gezellig bier drinken in een bruine kroeg. Vooral Leffe Ruby die er te krijgen is als enige kroeg in Leiden. Het lekkerste biertje dat er is!!

Gezellig buurtcafe, net uit de loop maar op een leuk pleintje met zon en schaduw plekken. Goede bediening en vrolijke mensen :-)
