Lot of love for this joint. We've just moved to Eindhoven and are staying down the street. Besides from just being pretty damn good in general, the real standout are the team. On our second visit in 3 weeks we were recognized instantly and made to feel just so welcome. We also met one of the owners, Farid who is just such a great host. Everything you could possibly want out of a neighborhood bar and restaurant that feels like home away from home

The real Brabant brown cafe. A must visit. Very busy always so make sure u have a place.

A nice, warm place to have a drink. The owner even went out of his way to heat up a sausage roll for me that wasn't on the menu – very thoughtful.

We had food here but it was very bad. My ribs came out dry and no flavour and my friend's steak was the size of a tiny ball and the plate was filled with almost raw beans and onions. The good thing is that we were given a free shot each. Won't be returning. The prices are abhorrent for the portion you get. Edit: Sorry replying to me with you won't serve me is not something I am afraid of. But my ribs were dry and I never asked for the sauce on the side. We were 3 girls and saying you and your friend is the 1st mistake you made. It was for 2 appetisers, two mains and few drinks. Know who you serve before making things up. I know how to make ribs myself and could teach the chef too if he liked. And my bill was 111+6.50 euros after you deducted her meal and in no way did she walk away to have a smoke because she was sat there with us disappointed. I have had a surf and turf before and telling me that a steak comes tiny because you served a prawn is weird. And undermining my bill too, because I have proof. Please never undermine your customer the next time we have a complaint. I gave an honest opinion and meant every word I said. Twisting my words to start a fight or look cool is weird. None of us were even remotely drunk. Two whiskeys wouldn't get me drunk even if I wanted to. If you think women drinking two shots of drinks would get them drunk is very weird. And I am sure with whatever you said, you have clearly mixed up the people you are talking about.

'T Rozenknopje is a delightful traditional pub and the second-oldest pub in Eindhoven (the oldest is 100 meters away, De Gouden Bal). It still has a Brabant atmosphere, almost like a living room. It's no wonder 'T Rozenknopje has such a large group of regulars.

We had a delicious meal, then watched a great film about the life of Willy Deville. We had a fantastic night out.

The perfect place for the Caffe in the weekend and others days with friends ,alone ,with girls or family members! 🙏🙏🙏 They have a good Caffe and deserve it to try it from everyone! 🙏

Cosy place were you can eat a simple meal and have beer and a chat. At weekends they often got live music.Suitable for the 'adult' guests. Check their website.

I've been here before, but yesterday was the last time. My friend and I waited 30 minutes for someone to order. Café 't Rozenknopije is not recommended. I don't recommend anyone in Eindhoven thinking they can do anything.

Fantastic atmosphere. We were here on the terrace in the afternoon with about 15 guests. One waiter was pulling double duty as snack cook, administrative assistant, biller, etc. And even then, he found the time to share a personal note with us and the other guests. Service was quick, and the goulash bitterballen are highly recommended! We will be back (often).

Friendly helpful staff but the noise level inside was unbearably loud & we had to shout just to talk to the person next to us....maybe next time I’ll sit outside.The food was average at best. I explained I was gluten free & the waitress very clearly understood but still my salad came out with two chunks of bread on top! I loved the vibe of the place ....& I've been asked to mention by the staff that they took care of bouquet of flowers for me & played the Dutch anthem at our request.

Great corner pub, service is quick and personel is nice. Food we ordered was tasty. Overall atmosphere was very good.

What hospitality you may encounter here. We celebrated a party on the upper floor, a really nice place very central in the city. Everything was arranged according to our wishes, the snack beforehand with a few guests was also really good, fresh and well priced. Niek and his team are relaxed, true hospitality people and that makes every visit to 't Rozenknopje so worthwhile! Also go to Comedy in de Knop, for example, or the Americana evenings.

Always a nice spot. I eat there regularly because it is close and cozy. What is striking about the food is that the portions are quite small. Not bad in itself. It is best to empty your plate when you go out to eat. What I do miss is some (more) vegetables. A burger menu consists of a (small) burger and a (very small) portion of fries. A salad and some greenery on your plate. would be a nice addition. The wine glasses are then very neatly filled.

A spacious, nice brown café, the sunny terrace was full, but inside you can really soak up the atmosphere. A number of tables were reserved, but if it is for a drink, the friendly staff allows you to use the table. Toilet is a bit cramped and no tissues to dry hands. Nice thing! Nice cafe with friendly bar staff. We came here on a pub crawl and had some nice drinks here.

Sometimes the first impression is important. I went to meet someone at a certain time. when I reached they were trying to sort out the electricity that went off. After a 21 minute walk to the place, I was told to wait outside for half an hour while they sorted it out. Things like this happens so I understand, but the customer service of the man was not welcoming. No "sorry for the inconvenience" and short dry answers. I can understand it was probably a stressful situation but it could have been handled properly. After five minutes I was gone. They won't be seeing me again. They probably won't care either, but customer service is very important for recurring visits and recommendations. After reading how they respond to negative reviews, I'm convinced they really know nothing about customer service. This place gets a big no for me. Edit: I hope those who read the business response understood exactly what I meant. The person says more than needed, giving examples of other scenarios not relevant to my review and dismisses my experience. Oh and do your self a favour and read the responses to the negative review. Make sure you don't get on the business's bad side. They will always have a comeback for you. P.s I left because of the customer service not because of lack of patience. Success is all I can say

The hot chocolate is delicious, the place looks very cozy and the terrace is a wonderful place to be in Eindhoven!!

Platos locales. Muy recomendable. Precio decente y el ambiente muy local. Se puede ir a comer, cenar o simplemente a tomar unas copas.

Local dishes. Highly recommended. Decent price and very local atmosphere. You can go for lunch, dinner or just have a few drinks.

Order a cheese, sausage and pickles board for 7 euros. Received a very small board... really not worth the effort, not even a jar of mustard was on it. In short...there was barely 1 euro worth of it and certainly not worth the money!

Nice and pleasant people. Nice cafe Onion soup too salty and could be thickened a little more in my opinion. For the rest fine.

Great neighborhood cafe. From young to old there is something to drink. Just outside the center but too nice.

Didn't eat only coffee. It was actually too full. And the toilets were too low, there was no disabled toilet.

Disappointing, very quiet and yet on a busy street. Nice themes on the calendar, but now there was little to do Edit: owner is very frustrated see his response below. This is how you will be served 😑 Should have left out this next one just to be *not* negative, but neutral (3 stars). In response to the "remarkable" reaction, here is the truth in a slightly more blunt manner. Service was arrogant, rushed as if it was annoying that you ordered something. The owner is also probably mistaken in his response to this, as he was a customer, we were not there on Tuesday. Still adjusted to two stars 🤐 Sorry, you only have yourself to blame for this!

On the one hand a quite cozy terrace with a very nice and varied audience, a bit of a shame about the road with a lot of noise. Delicious food, super friendly and good service. Mussels are delicious here, with tasty fries and delicious sauces. Will definitely come back again!

Just came for drinks- great choice, value for money, excellent service and friendly staff.

Didn't eat but drank... Oh yes, bitter meatballs with mustard... tasted great... and olives... luckily the reserved tables were handled creatively... ;-)

I live in gestelsestraat 24yrs for 3yrs and every Thursday night I would go for a few beers+some food was always lovely .delighted to see the place is still open.

Eerste keer vandaag dat ik hier was, werd meteen met open armen ontvangen. Het barpersoneel gedroeg zich heel professioneel(denk dat het doorgewinterde horeca tijgers zijn). Kom hier zeker nog terug,ik houd jullie op de hoogte van m’n volgende visit 👍

My first time at the Rosebud, I was with a buddy I hadn't seen in a long time, and it was nice to get to know each other better. I asked for a whiskey sour that wasn't that good, but it's not a cocktail bar either, but I still had a good time. Playing good music, the owner is sympathetic and a good pianist, I didn't know what hit me. The innkeeper was also great, a real pacesetter and explained a lot to me about everything, a friendly atmosphere. In other words, top tent 💯 I will definitely come back here, good vibes

It’s no joke this place has the best Croque Madam in Eindhoven! i usually never manage to finish My plate and yet here I was enjoying my brunch to the last bite. Staff is friendly and kind; I have had a couple of Breeze dates here before and was very delighted and pleased to have Farid ask me when I went inside for the bathroom if my date was going well and if I felt comfortable.

Friendly neighborhood bar for young and old but leaning to older. (Me!). Often quality musical offerings from Americana to Flamenco in lovely upstairs venue. Monday evening's they offer a set (surprise) menu at a shared table.

Leuk personeel, heerlijke snackies en gezellig dorp café vibe

Onder heel druk wel gezellig. Boven mooi klein zaaltje met bar. Mooi optreden van Anne Soldaat en Yorrick van Norden gehad van Bridge festival in Eindhoven.

Supergezellig gezeten. We wsren met ons viertjes voor een drankje aan tafel gezeten. Bij elk drankje kregen we nootjes. Bediening goed en erg vriendelijk. Tot gauw.

Helemaal perfect, kan geen verbeterpunten noemen. Er was zelfs een traplift in het gebouw. Hele fijne avond gehad!

Ik was bij een concert in de bovenruimte, heel sfeervol. Klein minpuntje: op weg naar damestoilet moest je tussen de rijen door, lastig voor degene die daar net zit!

Had dinner and a beer here. The menu is quite a mix but the Gumbo I had was quite salty but tasty. The staff were good and the place seemed popular.

Elk cliché van een bruin café wordt hier ruimschoots aan voldaan. Ruime keuze aan bier op de tap, whisky etc. Prima lunch. (Knopsandwich, boerenomelet en uitsmijter HK) Aanrader !

We zaten op het terras, tweede Pinksterdag. We bestelden allebei Asperges, traditioneel bereid. Helaas waren de asperges helemaal gaar gekookt, en niet al dente zoals het hoort. Dit was een grote teleurstelling! Het was druk, afgerekend, en niet voor herhaling vatbaar! De bediening was gelukkig vriendelijk.

Gewoon een gezellige kroeg! Wij komen hier graag eten is gewoon lekker, personeel en klanten zijn vriendelijk en gezellig.

Ben hier 45 jaar geleden voor het eerst geweest. Weinig veranderd, nog steeds bruin buurt café met huiselijke sfeer. Verderop in de straat zit Café De Gouden Bal, ook een evergreen in Eindhoven.

Geen aanrader als je met het gezin ergens wilt eten, de ober had het te druk om ons te bedienen. Te lawaaierig en het eten was te prijzig voor wat je krijgt, helaas niet voor herhaling vatbaar.
