horrible service, I never recommend it, dirty, and very rude waiters

I'm actually never here on nights out, but when I am the staff is really awful. They can't laugh and make people wait for a long time and even let people go ahead of you even though they've seen you. This will never be my choice to go here. The rest of the atmosphere there is nice though.

It was a Saturday night when we decided to go to a new bar in town, full of anticipation for a fun night. The atmosphere was promising, with music playing softly in the background and a lively crowd. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we had hoped for. We were soon served by a ginger bartender who was anything but friendly. His demeanor was intimidating, and instead of making us feel welcome, he seemed to ignore us. We had to wait a long time before he finally took our order, and when he did, his tone was anything but inviting. It was as if he saw us as a burden rather than as guests who wanted to have a good time. The rest of the evening did not go much better. The bartender made no attempt to improve the atmosphere or strike up a conversation. It felt like we had entered an impersonal and uncomfortable environment. What should have been a fun night ended in disappointment. It is a shame that service can have such a big impact on the overall experience, and we probably will not be visiting this bar again anytime soon.

My experience at Café Vue Grandige was ruined by the bartender. Although the atmosphere of the place was pleasant, the service left a lot to be desired. The bartender was unfriendly, disinterested and did not seem to enjoy his job. He was slow, did not explain the drinks well and did not pay attention to the guests. This created an uncomfortable atmosphere and made the experience anything but pleasant. Too bad, because the restaurant certainly has potential, but the service of

€12 for a pint of beer? I was shocked when the bartender charged me for a half-foamed beer. I asked why it was so expensive, and he responded that it was because of the high alcohol percentage. The bartender next to him laughed at this ‘joke.’ I asked the person next to me at the bar if this was normal for Hilversum, and he said no way. He asked the bartender in Dutch, and the answer changed to: “It’s because you ordered a half-litre beer.” If pints aren’t a standard size in the Netherlands and I’d be charged double for ordering one, I should have been informed beforehand. When I was drinking my pint, another waitress came by to collect the empty glasses. I double-checked with her if €12 for my beer was normal. She seemed surprised and said it must be a mistake. She went to check with the bartender and came back, saying it was because I ordered a pint. I told her I should have been informed, and she said she would double-check again—but she never came back. The hosting was horrible, and the way the beer was served—with half of it foam—was unacceptable. Definitely the worst experience I’ve had.

Customer-unfriendly service, swearing at you, rolling their eyes: very rude. Strongly advise against this cafe. I want to give a 0 but that's not possible. Especially the girl with brown hair and a nose piercing. Get a life. Greetings Emilie.

AVOID! Travelled from Australia to Netherlands to see where my mate was born. Decided to sit down for a drink. Sat down with a wine. Coming out of the bathroom the girl working there became aggressive towards me claiming my mate was drunk (my mate doesn't drink alcohol and was only after a coke a cola). I was only polite and shocked as I had done nothing wrong. This was on Monday lunch time....please spend you money elsewhere. I don't need to be abused when I had done nothing wrong.

Nou jongens, ik wil jullie effe vertelle over dat fantastische bruincafé in de buurt, Vue Grandige genaamd. Laat me jullie zegge, deze plek is machtig mooi. Het is gezellig en er hangt een ongelooflijk lekker sfeertje. De muziek is goed en de mensen zijn relaxed. Maar wat ik echt met jullie wil delen, zijn die heerlijke frietjes. Man oh man, die zijn zo lekker dat je je vingers erbij aflikt! Ze zijn knapperig, goudbruin en gewoon perfect gekruid. En het bier! Dat bier is zo goddelijk dat je er stil van wordt. Maar het beste van alles is de sfeer. Het is net alsof je thuis bent, je voelt je zo op je gemak. Het personeel is supervriendelijk en ze zorgen echt goed voor je. Ze maken je avond helemaal compleet. Dus jongens, als je op zoek bent naar een gezellige dan moet je naar Vue Grandige gaan!

Nice little bar in Hilversum Town on the Groest.

Altijd super gezellig. Kom hier elke keer als ik in Hilversum ben. Lekker rustig door de weeks. In het weekend erg gezellig. Super chill personeel en valt goed te poolen

A lively place with music and pool table. Service good. Outside seating. Commonly know as the brown pub. Reminded me of days when you smoked in pubs and the walls turned brown because of the nicotine!

Geweldige werknemers, echt een top plek, de drankjes zijn goed, het is altijd een feestje.

We hebben vanmiddag op het met grote parasols en luifels overdekte terras gezeten en met wijn, 0% bier en overheerlijke bitterballen twee intense stortbuien over ons heen laten gaan. Attente, gezellige goedogende bediening.
