Cafetaria in Asten noord

I really craved fish and decided to make a day of it at this All You Can Eat restaurant. What a treat! I thoroughly enjoyed every type of fish they had that day. The shellfish, especially the scallops, were the best, and all for such a reasonable price. It was busy and hot, which was a bit of a shame.

Name of the restaurant is Volentieri. Interior seems uograded compare to my last visit 2 years ago. Menu has been revised. Lunch wise, the presentation was excellent. However the bread (Focaccia) for my sandwich was dissapointed. Very dried and cold... But tuna and roast beef on top, were tasty. Tuna was a bit too cold. Suggest to make it room temperature or slightly lower than room temperature. The tuna flagrant would be more running in mouth. I always have an impression that dishes in Het Woold must be great but today was not my day. Not try yet the new menu for dinner. Hopefully still great as before. Service was excellent as always.

Excellent cuisine, friendly and knowledgeable service. Highly recommended as far as I'm concerned.

This is the first time in my life I've eaten such a large steak, perfectly prepared by the chef. I consider the dedication of the chef and staff to be outstanding. Sincerely,

We waited 20 minutes; other guests who arrived later were asked what they wanted to drink and given the menu. We then left.
