Op zich is het eten in de basis goed! Daar is ook alles mee gezegd. Niks speciaals!! Ze pretenderen een cullinair restaurant te zijn maar het is niet meer dan een te duur restaurant voor wat je krijgt. Eenmaal geprobeerd en het blijft bij die eenmaal.

We were looking forward to a pleasant evening with friends. When we received the menu, it was completely different from what was on the internet 1 day ago. That was also not announced on the site. When we asked if we could order a vegetarian dish, for example, we received a very inappropriate and unfriendly response from the owner. Now we were warned that this lady can be grumpy, but the way she spoke to us was very inappropriate and not customer-friendly. We were therefore unable to judge the food because the atmosphere had become unpleasant and we ate at another restaurant nearby.

Once again we had a great meal, a 5-course surprise with a wine walk. The highlight for me was the dish with lobster, the ingredients around the lobster provided a taste sensation! Asparagus soup from De Beleving is always great. The main course with 2 types of meat with asparagus was also delicious. In short, highly recommended for an evening of great food!

Nice atmosphere, enthusiastic service and good cuisine. The dishes are very tasty, as always. One of our favorite restaurants.

Given the pricing, our expectations were high. We chose the four-course surprise menus (2x fish and 2x meat). Both amuses were original and excellent in taste. The surprise menus themselves were varied. Highlights were the fish starter and fish soup and the meat main course. We were less enthusiastic about the broth from the meat menu and the fish main course (little texture, hard pieces and a few bones). The sweet dessert was standard and certainly not the festive ending. The volume of the music and the few sudden loud bangs behind the bar, where we were sitting close, were disturbing. Very few vegetables were served. The food was heavy afterwards and was on the salty side considering the after-thirst.

Very tasty food. Friendly service and cozy decor. But the most important thing is the pampering of the dishes.

We had dinner at De Beleving last night with our family. It was excellent, delicious food and super friendly service. Highly recommended to go there.

Nice ambiance. Ordered the surprise menu with wine arrangement yesterday. Rarely have you eaten so well. As far as I'm concerned, the chef is a magician with food. Also very nice the explanation about the wines. There were excellent choices for the dishes. Definitely worth repeating.

Great rooms ground floor terrace: dirty chairs, dirty terrace exterior maintenance not very clean. Breakfast breads not very good (frozen).

Delicious food in a fantastic place.

We came with a larger party to celebrate a birthday. Service and atmosphere were great. I ordered the tournedo. The meat and pepersaus were well cooked and very yummy. However, the portions were quite small. The fries were very obviously freezer fries which were poorly cooked and seasoned. Several people in our party ordered the surf and turf, which ended up to be a piece of cod with a very thin piece of beef laid on top. Most people in the party found it tasty, although they noted that there was not much 'turf' to the meal. One party member found their fish to smell and taste badly. Another person in our party ordered the asperges, op Brabantse manier. This was yummy and was a decent sized portion. The general consensus was that food was good but portions were quite small and very overpriced

Al regelmatig hier gegeten en het is altijd super lekker. Meestal laten we ons verrassen door de chef met het verrassingsmenu, altijd vol van smaak en heerlijk eten. Ook qua sfeer is het restaurant leuk om te eten, voelt warm en gezellig aan.

When we wanted to park our car, we were turned away. All places were needed for a company that had rented everything to celebrate a big party. An hour later the entire parking lot would be full of guests' cars and the party would start. We couldn't have lunch there either. We parked our car a bit further away. When we came back an hour and a half later, everything was empty and deserted. No party, no full parking lot. The story didn't add up. That's not how you treat your customers. Sad, but true.

It said it was open on Google Maps, so I drove there specifically, but it was ultimately closed.

Well, until we got the main course, the meat was very tough and we had to cut off a lot of the fat edges. That's why there wasn't much meat left. Not worth repeating. Too bad...

Ate there on King's Day after a bike ride. The food was really good but the hostess was not having her day. When we were eating and friends who happened to pass by sat down and ordered, they were offered an appetizer twice, when I asked a question about why we were not offered it, she was very blunt. We got there too early (5:30 PM) to get an appetizer. We were happy that the son of the house took over the service at our table. Compliments to the cook and the son, I will definitely come back when she is no longer here. Pieter Schouten.

Nice place for lunch and dinner. Quality is just a little more than you normally expect. The portions are also generous. You won't leave here hungry. Upon arrival we were poorly received. I ordered spa red and received water that was more than 4 months out of date. When I asked, the clerk was very condescending and I received the answer: 'water cannot be expired and this is the only water we have!'. After 5 minutes they came to ask for the second time what we wanted to eat, "because it was not ready-made spare ribs that they served here, everything is freshly made here." So we had to quickly decide at 7:20 PM what we wanted to eat because the restaurant closed at 10:00 PM.... Once again had a bad experience and will not come back here!!!

Enjoyed a delicious lunch on the terrace of this restaurant. The Salmon sandwich was royally topped with salmon, cream cheese and raw vegetables. The restaurant is located in a green area, just inside the village. It is wonderfully relaxed. The service is excellent. The employees are also very helpful with options for maintaining social distancing.

We have been to restaurant De Beleving several times, and we will certainly come several more times. It is a cozy little restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating, located on a quiet (cycling) route. The service is friendly and sharp, they look around carefully. I think the menu changes at least once a season. And that makes coming back extra fun. The map can also be viewed on the website. And finally the food, which is preceded by delicious appetizers; very tasty. Beautiful presentation, tasty flavor combinations and plenty of side dishes. So feel free to reserve here.
