Too bad we were put in the back corner, it is a nice spot but not if the bar tables are better served, we wanted to celebrate my 60th birthday with the children and grandsons after our holiday with a dinner, but if you have to ask for the starter yourself and after 1.5 hours for the main course, we think it is a bit of a shame, 6.30 pm inside and 9.15 pm finally the main course, it seemed like we were forgotten and something was quickly prepared, too bad, too bad

Great and cozy restaurant. Terrace is also great, except that it is located on a fairly busy road and has no good shielding with the road, not very nice with children.

Disappointed with the cocktail, but excellent service Unfortunately I have to rate this cocktail very poorly. The price of almost nine euros is absolutely not justified, as the cocktail consisted almost exclusively of ice - there was no liquid in sight. Such a preparation is simply unacceptable. In any case, in a cocktail I expect the main ingredients that make the taste. However, the service is positive. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, which made the evening that little bit better. Nevertheless, it is difficult for me to look past the disappointing cocktail. I hope this was a one-time mistake, but at this price I really expect more than just ice in the glass.

Yesterday we concluded our friends' weekend at the Strabrechtse fens. Essentially eating and drinking at Pesos. We had a good meal there: a delicious basket of baguette with creamy herb butter and aioli/garlic spread. Main course: Snitzels with mushroom sauce (this was really big) and the spare ribs were also really good (unfortunately not everyone can do this). The chicken satay was also very tasty. Well-baked fries or fries, whatever you want to call them. And the cheesecake as well as the dame blanche were really good. Friendly staff, nice oriented, all in all a top tent. Definitely worth coming back if I'm in the area. So I highly recommend going here. And if you are in the park, this is easily accessible by car, less than a 7-minute drive and there is plenty of parking. Just remember that Asten works with parking discs during the day. Nice atmosphere and tasty food.

The price and quality of the food is truly excellent. Staff very friendly and good. In short, highly recommended.

The slow braised pork was actually well executed, but was served with some salad of which some leafs weren’t fit for serving, it happens, fine. Ribeye was cooked through all the way, no searing, just grill marks, a well done stake, grey on the inside. The steaks are also thin, I suggest to get smaller, thicker cuts and to actually sear them. Served on the side were what I think deep frozen vegetables, the paprika was mushy, a big let down when the starter was actually fine. The pepper sauce was too thick and didn’t really taste fresh. Price wasn’t too bad if it were good, it unfortunately wasn’t good. Service was great, absolutely no comments on that!

We had a delicious meal last weekend and, with the nice weather, we chose a nice table inside, so we could still enjoy the outside. We no longer had the thought that this would be a Mexican restaurant last time (a long time ago), but we really like the more normal cuisine in terms of dishes. The quality is good to very good and the service, especially the regular waiter, is very good and very friendly. This is how we like to see a restaurant, delicious food, honest and friendly service and a beautiful environment. By honest service we mean that when ordering it is indicated that we should not order more because what we receive is already sufficient. The Irish ribeye was delicious and large, the Surf and Turf was also delicious according to my wife. The desert was also very beautiful to look at and very tasty, but no photos were taken.

Delicious food. It is tradition for us to end our annual trip to the Webwinkel Vakdagen here. We ate a delicious mixed grill, but unfortunately forgot to take a photo beforehand due to hunger (which the dish was absolutely worth). Always friendly staff and good service. Let me put it this way: my glass was not empty and my stomach was well filled afterwards, delicious! Definitely recommended 👍

Best price/quality you can get in Asten! For years the food has been very good here. And even now with large inflation numbers: the prices are still solid and very attractive. Service is sometimes lacking, not spotting me as a customer and therefore creating unneeded longer time between courses. I could order and enjoy it more if they would look me in the eye more often ;) The interior has some curvy surprises and the terrace outside looks out to the old and charming 'Witte Kerkje' of In de Gloria. But it is also located at a sometimes busy village road.

Dietary requirements not taken into account. This was forgotten despite mentioning it in the reservation and upon arrival Nothing said about kitchen closure. We arrived at 7:45 PM and at 9:00 PM we couldn't order anything anymore because the kitchen was closed. While guests on the terrace were still offered the menu at 9:30 PM. At 9 p.m. everyone cleaned around us and the music was turned up loud. Waitress was deliberately ignoring us. And if we were a difficult group, but I was there with my family with two children, for my birthday And despite the direct complaint I filed, Pesos has not heard back.

We werden buiten gekeken. We hadden gereserveerd om 19.30. Gevraagd of we evt dingen bij konden bestellen. Was gern probleem. Maar toen we daadwerkelijk een salade wilde bijbestellen was de keuken dicht. Om ons heen werd gepoetst en het was nog geneens 21.30 uur. Klacht ingedient via mail. Totaal geen reactie.

We didn't think the food was good at all, we came to pick it up and saw on the receipt that a wrong burger had been received, so we indicated that we would receive a new one that was still wrong. The food was very cold, the chicken wings were super tough and the teriyaki chicken had satay sauce on it, which we had not ordered at all. We also only received 1 portion of fries, rice, bread, mayo and salad, while previously this was included with each dish. The garlic bread was also super hard, we thought it was very bad.

Vanwege de coronabeperkingen heb ik in de laatste 2 maanden enkele keren 'n maaltijd laten bezorgen door hun eigen bezorgdienst. Alles was lekker, ruim voldoende en netjes op tijd bezorgd. Op het einde van het online-bestelproces zijn er diverse betaalmogelijkheden zodat je ook kunt afrekenen met bijvoorbeeld Ideal en dus bij levering geen "gehannes" meer hebt met het wisselen van cash geld.

Cozy restaurant with a special interior with murals based on Mexican and Caribbean cultures. How could it be otherwise with this name: Pesos. Nice menu with tasty appetizers and hearty main courses. The desserts are of a good size, so leave some room if you fancy it. On Tuesdays various dishes are available for €11. The all-you-can-eat spareribs are highly recommended!
