Cafetaria De Grote Beer in Noordwest

The food is good and the staff is friendly, but I think it's a shame that you can no longer eat at a table, but at such a weird bar. I also think it's a pity that they close so early. Because of this, I go to another cafeteria more often.

When I walked in, I wasn't served immediately; the young lady behind the counter was busy WhatsApping her friends on her mobile. The display case looked like a mess. On top of that, my egg ball was still piping hot when I got home, but my fries were ice cold and I got the wrong sauce. Once and never again!

We have been going there for years, and now that we have moved, we drive back to them with pleasure. Highly recommended!

Terribly expensive, unfriendly staff, and the food not special at all.

I have been coming here for years and can only say that this is an excellent cafeteria; the products, the staff, and the decor are -NOTHING- to fault. Friends and acquaintances from other neighborhoods even come to this cafeteria because of the -efficient service!- and great quality. I therefore don't understand negative reviews at all!

They never replace the grease, or at least that's how it tastes. The staff is unfriendly, and the decor is not inviting at all.

Just ordered fries, they were in it, they keep insisting it's not possible, here's the photo

A cozy cafeteria in Paddepoel-Zuid where the service is always excellent. Even if it's just five minutes before closing time, they're always happy to prepare an order. The food is good and reasonably priced. Ordering is also no problem; you can park your bike or scooter in front, and if you have a car, you can park it right in front of the restaurant on the street. All in all, a great place for a quick bite in the neighborhood.

I've already received the wrong order twice in a row...that's a bit sloppy

Just a good snack bar with friendly staff and where I have been happy to pick up my snack or fries for many years and sometimes stay for a while.

Criminals from the first fifteen minutes

Food is tasty but very little for the amount, satay sauce was out of the container before the fries, which is a shame

2 egg balls are 6.60. But they had to go with joppie sauce. Now you can guess what just the joppie sauce costs. €3.40. That's € 1.70 per egg ball to add joppie sauce, so you pay 10 euros. This really isn't possible guys. Shame on you!

Order placed, ordered 2 ham cheese soufle, got something different, my tasty roll tasted burnt and was really hard, got no salt or herbs with the fries and this while it is the start of their working day (just opened), always something going on here with this service on top and it is very expensive here, prices are already slightly higher than most and even then the food is unfriendly and poorly cooked Shoarma baguette also burnt, wow, that's bad

The food was a bit disappointing in taste. Fries were not salted and the snacks were mediocre in taste. It was hot and crispy.

Just bought 40 euros worth of snacks, nice for a Friday afternoon Really great (the egg ball is highly recommended)

Vriendelijke mensen, eindelijk weer knapperige patat en duidelijk gebakken in schone olie. Hier rij ik graag een stukje verder voor.

Kom hier al heel lang,laatste tijd wat minder door verhuizing. Erg lekker eten en vers de boerenpatat is een aanrader vind ik. Boerenpatat haal ik hier altijd :) 5 sterren ! * *update wel kneitersduur geworden,de ras is ook niet meer wat het was ander vet? Ook de laatste x 18 euro voor een simpele bestelling. Klantvriendelijkheid is ook weg 😑

Altijd lekkere patat. Oorlog saus is ook lekker, tenminste niet van die zoete saus. Mijn favoriet is patat stoofvlees hier😍

Uitstekende kwaliteit eten en snelle vriendelijke bediening

Als inwoner van de studentenflat naast cafetaria de Grote Beer kom ik regelmatig langs. De bestellingen gaan altijd snel en het eten is prima!

Ik kom hier al meer dan twintig jaar, de patat smaakt laatste tijd wel minder. De eierballen vonden we allemaal te scherp en anders dan voorheen smaken. Ook jammer dat 1 eierbal versmolten was in het plastic bakje. Dan zit je letterlijk plastic te eten. Papieren bakjes zou fijner zijn. Ook beter voor het milieu.

Heerlijke friet, goede frietsaus (je krijgt zeker weten genoeg ;) ) en een lekkere goudbruine kaassoufflé, just how I like it. Niet duur, sauzen zijn er al voor 0.35 cent bij te bestellen. Dranken staan koud in de koeling. Veel keuze in ijsjes: van waterijs tot softijs met karamel fudge, Lion, Kitkat, Oreo en meer. Zaak is ruim, toiletten zijn vanwege corona dicht voor klanten. Buiten staan twee tafeltjes met parasol om buiten (met 1.5 m) te gaan zitten.

Lekker ijsje gegeten met m'n bonuszoon. Kreeg hij een zonnebril kado 😎

Ik eet altijd bij hun binnen, ik krijg netjes het eten op een bord met bestek. Personeel is top.Het vet is altijd goed, En ze hebben de cafetaria helemaal nieuw een tijd geleden. Dus wil je keer lekker snacken, dan zou ik hier gaan eten en dan niet afhalen maar Lkkr aan hun tafeltjes .

Top services en een heerlijk broodje Grote Beer.

Prima ervaring Bleef om 2 uur special voor mij eventjes open om een lekker broodje te maken, om mijn werkdag weer door te komen. Leuk praatje gemaakt en kon na een aantal minuten weer met mijn broodje naar buiten lopen. 👍🏼
