Always busy, and that is a good sign. So make a reservation; highly recommended. We ate delicious mussels, and there was also a vegetarian meal in our group. Excellent mussel pot, which is very well filled. My mother had the spicy version and I had the one with cream and blue cheese. Our friend had a risotto as a vegetarian option. Everything was very tasty and the mussels were delicious, surprising, and paaaay. The portions served are on the large side; a mussel pot is actually enough for 2 people. My mother couldn't finish it, but that wasn't a problem; we took advantage of the suggestion to take the remaining mussels home and enjoyed taking them along. (I do not give 5 stars on principle, because there is always room for improvement, but that is my personal opinion) But this time I had to deviate from my principles.

All the food, raw and fresh, was thrown onto the counter. My sandwich was also placed on the counter, where several other products had already been placed.

Make sure to make a reservation. A busy restaurant with an excellent menu.

If you like good food without too much fuss, then this is the place to be. Nice and down-to-earth, and you are treated like one big family. Great place!

Hello, I went out to eat here today. The food was damn delicious, but I got poisoned. Otherwise, I thought it was funny, but I did get a stomach ache.

It was really fun and the food was delicious.

At first, things threatened to go wrong because our table wasn't free yet. That's a real problem, because the whole place is packed and you're standing awkwardly waiting at the bar with four people, with no idea how long it will take. However, after a bit of persistence, it was resolved perfectly. The lady in charge directed us to the still-available six-person table, and problem solved. After that, we had a great evening. The menu is no-nonsense, just familiar dishes that are well-composed. We had a nice evening with young but friendly and hardworking staff. On Saturdays, the place does get packed, so you really sit on top of each other.

One of my favorite lunch spots in Spijkenisse. They also serve delicious dinner (heard about it), but I just have to try it myself. I've had lunch here many times and have always been satisfied! Great service, very helpful. And the rib finger sandwich is my favorite here =D

I'm really upset about the portion size. The farmers can't sell their potatoes, but a large portion of fries with peanut sauce for €4.30 is half a container full... I guess I'll reconsider the Ladage skin-on fries... Just give everyone the same size, because a previous order was a decent portion... I still had to go to Albert Heijn for something extra.

Another delicious meal, as always and as always. The vegetarian risotto balls were delicious, but oddly enough, not entirely vegetarian. There was cured ham in the middle. Perfect for me, and a great combination, but perhaps a bit of a challenge for true vegetarians?

The fries weren't anything special - the service was fast, but 2 stars for the tables not being cleared. It's a shame, I expected more from the famous "Krooked" restaurant.

I usually came on Fridays, but this time it was Saturday. A completely different atmosphere. The ladies who were always there on Fridays were much warmer and more friendly. The people working there on Saturdays didn't really give me the impression they were genuinely willing to help, hahaha! 😂 Maybe it was because it was so busy, but they could be a bit friendlier. And the fries: small, rock-hard chunks in there, and you can taste the starch. Not good quality fries. Such a shame!

I didn't think much of it. The food was tasteless to me. The atmosphere was like a feedlot, way too noisy. Far too many tables in the room, making it impossible to have a normal conversation. It was my last time there.

We had a lovely meal. The baked potatoes and famous witoflavin were delicious. There was also a nice surprise for the birthday boy. SUPER! Value for money.

The starter bread was delicious and fresh, and the prawns were well-seasoned. The mixed grill wasn't quite as well-prepared; the steak was overcooked, and the chicken thighs tasted dry. The coffee and chocolate cake were delicious.

We had a delicious schnitzel and burger. A compliment to the fries (we're Belgians), we've never had such delicious fries in the Netherlands. You can also sit outside in the sun at the snack bar. The service is very friendly and fast. Maybe consider adding draft beer. Recommended for a quick bite.

We've ordered fries and satay from the snack bar before, and it was always plenty and tasty, but this time we got a very small portion of fries and raw vegetables. The satay had no flavor, the fries were much too hard, and the raw vegetables were always tasty with a little salad. Now it was different: 1 slice of tomato, 1 slice of cucumber, a tiny bit of lettuce with a nasty, sour dressing on top. We'll never have to do that again. I went home still hungry.

We had a wonderful meal. We chose the three-course menu. Highly recommended. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. A few people in our party requested a different dessert, but it was the same price, and that wasn't a problem. I would definitely recommend making a reservation, as other people have already discovered this place. It was packed, so some people were unlucky.

When I'm back in my hometown Spikri, I like to have lunch at De Krom. I actually wanted to order carpaccio and onion soup, but the service recommended the '12-uurtje': for €15 I got carpaccio on toast, a croquette sandwich and a bowl of onion soup. Really good tip, it was delicious! But my favorite is still the mussel pan! The service is very friendly.

Celebrated my mother's birthday. She is in a wheelchair and upon arrival a very nice employee removed a bench so that my mother could remain in her wheelchair. Really great! You have the choice to take à la cart or a menu. Attention has been paid to the dishes and it can be seen and tasted. Good quality. If you had any questions about it, they were answered promptly. Although it was (always) busy, the employee showed constant attention to the guests. Top! Because it was my mother's birthday, she was put in the spotlight as a surprise at dessert 💖. All in all, a successful birthday party.

Very tasty meal. The portions are certainly sufficient and not a more luxurious looking plate with little on it for a lot of money. Just like I'm used to in the past. Few toilets and a lot of noise in the business from other guests. I am satisfied with the food.

A lot of money for a small piece of fish, cod and pure without herbs, and the mustard sauce was very thin and the seasonal vegetables were missing, we had to ask for salad ourselves, it was so disappointing And the coupe liqueur 43 was not a waste of money, We won't be going there anytime soon

Food here is very good. Was 45 minutes early but was allowed to sit down. Carpaccio had a very good taste and ribeye was very juicy. Definitely one of the better restaurants I know.

Heerlijk gegeten, goede vlotte service. Als je je volgende ronde al besteld vóórdat je je eerste ronde geserveerd krijgt loopt alles soepel door. Sommige dingen zijn lekkerder als andere gerechten maar dat is juist het leuke van onbeperkt tapas eten. Het lekkerste bestel je gewoon nogmaals. En de prijs is natuurlijk gewoon echt héél redelijk. Wij waren op zondagavond en dan is het gezellig druk maar niet té druk. Alles verliep heel soepel. Wij gaan terug.

Wat een chaotische slechte bediening. We waren met z'n 8ten maar we moesten per 4 steeds bestellen via 2 telefoons waardoor alles door elkaar liep. De ene tafel kreeg gelijk drinken maar de andere 4 zaten 20 minuten op een droogje. De gerechtjes kwamen ook sporadisch waardoor de 1 al 2 dingen op had en de ander nog steeds op een houtje moest bijten. Ook waren sommige gerechtjes niet lekker. En bij een paar rondes werden een paar gerechtjes helemaal niet gebracht. De tent zat stampend vol...het excuus was dat het erg druk was...tjaaa dan moet je niet zoveel tafels vol reserveren. Wij komen hier iig niet meer terug.

Unfortunately I was not satisfied this time and that is a shame. I have been ordering a menu from the restaurant here for many years, i.e. pork tenderloin with mushroom cream sauce with fried potatoes. Price/quality always good and I like to order here for home use. However, I noticed the last few times that it wasn't exactly great, and unfortunately last Tuesday evening it was far below par. The food was ready very quickly, I was there around 5:30 PM, well before rush hour, and that surprised me. Arrived home disappointed. Consistency of sauce thick and not as it should be. Instead of vegetables (which you always got before and tasted good) now made a salad again. But the biggest disappointment were the potatoes. Not freshly baked and seasoned, but it looks like it came from the microwave and was warmed up. It was rubbery and hard. I no longer bothered to call and give feedback, but for us this was far below par compared to before. Service and friendly and snacks were also good, but for dinner from the restaurant this was not OK. For a price of approximately € 18, you can expect a dish that is tasty and well prepared. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be getting a 'takeaway' there from now on.

Delicious food, it had been a long time since we had eaten here but the food was still as delicious as ever. The one and only REAL Dame Blanche (with melted chocolate instead of chocolate sauce) is definitely recommended
