Cafetaria De Schakel in Wijk 04 Nieuw-Loosdrecht

I ordered a Russian salad here to go with the BBQ. Truly a top-notch salad with eel, brie, pâté, etc. The baguette (with herb butter) was also good. I will definitely come back here for a future BBQ!

The food was nice, but I was shocked that people who are handling the food, without gloves, were also taking the orders and touching the money!

It is not worth the effort, friends had suggested coming all the way from Zaandam

A nice cafeteria where you can order all kinds of things! From tasty sandwiches to various snacks, there is plenty of choice. The staff are always friendly and the value for money is really great. Definitely recommended! 😊

I just placed an order of over €87, including a lot of snacks. I walked away thinking everything was included. Now I get home and they forgot a container of satay sauce and a meatball. That can always happen, of course, but when I call, no one answers. I think I called for at least half an hour and no one picked up. I never write reviews, but this takes the cake. It basically means they are unreachable when they are open. Check your order on the spot or finish your food first and then pay.

What a load of crap. I walk into a packed place. A snotty kid behind the counter says: "I'll be with you in a moment, sir!" "Fine," I say. A few minutes later: "Would you like to order?" "Yes, please." "Yes, we are closed." I look around: but the place is full? "Yes, we close at 8:30." "I just want a soft serve." "Yes, no sir, we close at 8:30." Look at my watch: 8:32 PM (by now, yes, after waiting). Either close the door, or put a sign saying 'closed,' or say immediately upon entry that you are no longer taking new orders. This is just bad and stupid service, and I really don't like that arrogant attitude of acting like I'm crazy.

Very bad service, pre-paid portion of fries. The order took a long time to arrive and it seemed as if they didn't care.

One of the better snack bars in the region! The sandwiches are also excellently prepared. Service is friendly.

Delicious sandwiches and very friendly staff as well.

Those croquettes were a real treat!

Tasty food, not too expensive, good and fast service, cozy atmosphere. Super snack bar.

Very neat cafeteria with friendly staff and good quality snacks.

Good place, affordable and good food

We had a special hamburger and a hot ham sandwich. The burger only had meat, onions, and sauce on it; no lettuce, tomato, or anything else. The ham was on the very salty side. A bit disappointing.

Super delicious food and friendly staff

Great cafeteria. Wide selection of dishes. Affordable. Clean tables. Excellent service, with a smile and a sense of humor. A large kitchen staff, working fast and looking like they enjoy their work. What a breath of fresh air. I'd love to come back here soon! Parking is a bit tricky though. Limited space and cramped.

Absolutely the Best Sandwiches in 't Gooi and the surrounding area! Lunchroom De Schakel in Loosdrecht is highly recommended! It's become our regular spot for Saturday lunch. The sandwiches aren't just good; they're among the best in 't Gooi and the surrounding area. The atmosphere is that of a pleasant lunchroom, and the food is fantastic. The sandwiches are always fresh and generously filled. It's the quality of the fillings and the generous portions that make all the difference. Well worth a short detour if you're in the area. Simply top quality! Star rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)

Well... fresh and friendly service! So that's it!

Delicious fresh produce. Always friendly. Fast. Let the men go wild! Fantastic. Best cafeteria in Wijdemeren.

Cafetaria De Schakel is quality, and fresh products delicious sandwiches (there needs to be a little more dough in the sandwiches) but also the vegan products are of good fresh quality, but the fries remain top here ♨️ always fresh oil in the fryer!

Best snack bar in Wijdemeren with lots of own products. Tip: drink coffee in the morning and hear all the latest gossip.

Excellent cafeteria with a wide choice and terrace

The people who work there are super nice. And the food was also delicious.

Very good, friendly service, delicious food, good coffee ☕️ TOP

Very good ribs, large portions. I recommend them.

The perfect escape after a night of partying! Everything you need to cure a hangover – good coffee, delicious comfort food and a calm atmosphere where you can land softly again. The service was friendly, the food was spot on and the atmosphere was just right to find peace. A place I will definitely return to (even without a hangover 😉

Surprisingly large selection of sandwiches and fried food. Young and very friendly staff. Large terrace. Food is excellent.

I often come here for lunch, and they've never gotten my order (or my colleagues') wrong. Plus, the food is simply delicious.

At Fu Ling you get a new, freshly prepared menu every week with 3 tasty Chinese dishes, side dishes and crispy spring rolls – all for only 25 EUR. Plenty for 3–4 people. Perfect for an easy and delicious dinner at home!

Food and service very good 👍you are served friendly here, food is very tasty and of good quality 👍👍

We had breakfast here, and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was freshly prepared and the staff was super friendly.

I missed a beer, it's all non-alcoholic.

I was unlucky enough to go on a Wednesday afternoon and someone else with a children's party had the same idea.

Good snack bar with delicious food at fair prices.

It's like a fish & chip shop / butcher. They have all different types of meals and food choices. It's pretty cool. Their croquettes were yum! You can order out or dine in.

Real! the tastiest sandwiches and dishes! richly invested and always super quality! In addition, a super friendly atmosphere and a lovely terrace.

Great tent! , highly recommended

Always good dishes. Chicken satay from chicken fillet and not chicken thigh (offal). Dining area could be a bit cozier. Dishes are neatly served.

Very good cafeteria!! Tasty food and cozy atmosphere.

Excellent cafeteria with friendly staff and good snacks. Nice atmosphere. You can also order salads. Recommended!

Yes, you can really enjoy delicious food here! Enough place to sit and friendly staff. Spare ribs are definitely recommended. The sandwiches are also very tasty. They sell good quality here.

I think this is the best snack bar in the Netherlands. Fantastic service and it doesn't matter what you order, it's always 100% good and delicious. 😋

A seemingly popular cafeteria for the local town offering a variety of meats, burgers, milkshakes and other snacks. some seating inside and outside as well to avoid the sometimes large squishy queue. for travellers: issues with payment with a visa card so best to bring cash.

Great snack bar. Sandwiches are good. invested. Good price-quality

This was once the best cafeteria in Loosdrecht. After changing opening times, I arrived at closing time, was refused entry and was given nothing to eat. I asked for something very simple and cold, and was refused by a lady who was also laughing at me. I will never step foot over that threshold again. Provided other operators come.

Great snacks, but it is time to adjust the prices on the website. Paid more for everything than stated on the website. French fries without mayonnaise are now €3.80, while the website still says €2.90. An order for 4 people was €8.00 more expensive than stated on the site. Not neat.

Very good food. Come there regularly.

friendly staff, delicious and fresh food

Delicious, fast, and good Burgers great...

Friendly staff, clean place and good food

We regularly eat a sandwich here, and I'm talking about a real sandwich. Well filled and fresh. Real value for money

It was around dinner time and very busy. Maybe employ more people at the fries section

Very good snack bar where they still know what good food is. The portions are great. The bouncer is highly recommended.

I've been coming here for years, but the quality is deteriorating rapidly. Always had super tasty fries, but the last 3 times were very disappointing. Same goes for the satay, always great but last time very bad

Delicious food, fast service and friendly, helpful staff!! Top tent

What a dirty place, the food is dirty and has hair on it

Today we ordered a meal salad with vitello tonnato and one with roast beef. Serious portions with not only lots of salad but also meat. Very tasteful. In addition, friendly service.

We only had a drink in this self-service snack bar. Looked spacious and neat inside, small practical toilet on the right with paper (super) to dry your hands. Also possibility to sit on the terrace. Fine.

The fresh sandwiches are especially good! Also available in the evening. The snacks are not like that. So order the good sandwiches (they are slightly more expensive than at the butcher during the day).

Been coming there for years. Very good. And good food and coffee.

As we were used to from previous times. One star less for atmosphere because of the other visitors, not the staff. Definitely recommended. Also great value for money.

Fresh & delicious, a busy cafeteria with a nice terrace.

Fresh and delicious food, very recommended

Always served quickly, no matter how busy it is, the food is always good whatever he chooses, enjoy coming there, always a parking space

Everything fresh and very tasty. Everything is verse and delicious.

Top! Well-oiled machine, good staff, large portions. Everything you want from a snack bar!

This is a 5 star “french fries place”. Very satisfied

Unfortunately, sometimes something is missing with a large order. If you choose to return it, it will always be resolved neatly. Furthermore, a really top snack bar!

Super tasty to eat there, we spent four days there, great food quality, keep up the good work people from East Flanders Belgium

Super food, fun, would love to go there from the Betuwe

The Link Snack Switch Snack bar, once so nice, Now a place of expensive pain. Sandwiches soggy, long waiting time, While Michael grills with gang. Frikandel and fries, simple fare, But the price, that sticks up all the way to the post. People breathing down your neck, Atmosphere smothered, no fun, no appetite. Cafeteria de Schakel, where has the fun gone? Used to be fun, now just striving To profit, at the expense of the customer. Switch Snack, you have been banned from my daily routine due to my huge appetite.

Was very busy good food value for money

Good products, nice atmosphere, nice helpful, attentive

Large selection of food, good quality. Easy parking behind. For takeaway or sit in. There's a healty outside seating option.

Delicious food for a great price

WHAT. A FANTASTIC TENT. Nice terrace too. Delicious fresh homemade snacks. The meal salad (especially the vitello tonato with the freshly cut fricandeau on the spot) is highly recommended. Spare ribs to literally lick your fingers. People work here with passion for the business. Food made with love. I temporarily live around the corner for work. The job will end soon and I already think it's a shame. Because of the beautiful surroundings, but also because of the snack bar de SCHAKEL. You won't find many like this anymore.

Prima snackbar bestaat al jaren

Best snack bar I've been to in my life meat of the highest quality

There are plenty of good reviews and I would like to agree with them. Good food, ready quickly and plenty of parking behind. Be a bit careful when driving out because of the poor view through parked cars and the trees.

Great Cafeteria the best I have ever come across top meat and top quality products fresh and clean.

One of the best cafeteria’s I have been to; food is of high quantity and quality. friendly, calm and invested staff. Came here for the first time and will definitely come again. You get your moneys worth back and more. Definitely worth a detour for this food. ✨✨✨

Delicious sparribs and fellow diner had snitzel.. Everything with fries, sauces and salad... Neatly served on a plate.. Highly recommended

I used to think this was a good cafeteria, but the quality has deteriorated and it is very expensive. Recently ordered fries, the fries were completely soaked with fat! It was not nice to eat because the fries are rock hard and they can also make you sick! It wasn't even busy at the service, this was really bad, they weren't paying attention, food was in the fryer for too long. It is even better to get Chinese takeaway, then you will get value for your money.

Ball sandwich with satay sauce! Really not normally that tasty.

5 euros for a 3/4 filled container of fries and satay sauce, no, last time for me

Excellent food and good service

Great people, good food, exactly what you want from a cafeteria. Keep it up!

Friendly service and tasty bouncer... had enough time to eat it... bouncer😉

Altijd lekker lunchen. Prima uitsmijters.

Very nice place with nice people. Loved everything except the Picanto. Totally recommend this place.

Altijd goed bezig. Petje af voor deze mooie zaak.

Super tolle vegetarische Snacks! Endlich mal eine vegetarische Frikandel. Und die Pommes sind auch top!

Mooie plek voor een tussenstop of uitgebreide hap. Parking aanwezig. Terras aanwezig Vriendelijke bediening. Van broodje tot frituur tot restaurant. Wel prijzig.
