Cafetaria en Chinees Restaurant Boeddha in Wijk 00 Onderbanken

Always delicious at Boeddha Schinveld. We've been coming here for years. You can definitely tell there are multiple chefs working there. Some dishes are better at certain times, but that's pretty much the case everywhere.

I have to say, the fries were way too hard. And the friekandel wasn't tasty either, so I wouldn't recommend it.

This review is mainly about their fried food section. After repeatedly complaining to the store, it's time for a Google review (not that it helps them, but still...). The quality isn't what it used to be. They started out so well, but unfortunately... the fries are often hard, brown, and full of small, hard bits. The special fries have a little sauce in the middle and nothing here and there. At a "friet oorlog" (fried war), you constantly have to beg for enough satay sauce. There's little choice of sauce for the fries. "Zuurvlees" (sour meat) has absolutely nothing to do with "Zuurvlees" (sour meat) but resembles a Chinese sweet and sour sauce with strange chunks of meat in it. Furthermore, the owner is not friendly at all and very stern. She also seems unmotivated and rude to her son and the staff. The staff is polite and friendly, but she doesn't seem to appreciate that either. If you complain about your previous order, she gives you an irritated look, mumbles something in Chinese, and just carries on with her work. Some advantages compared to other local chip shops: order is ready quickly, complete and they are slightly cheaper.

I got spring rolls with chicken last week. A favorite of mine and my family for years. Unfortunately, this time it was a big disappointment! The spring rolls had soaked up a lot of fat (so they were way too fat) and even the bean sprouts inside were partly burnt. I have never experienced this here before. I will give it one more chance. Otherwise this will be the last time I spend my money here.

Always quick to eat in the restaurant also very nice

Table reservation by phone is easy. We were the only restaurant guests at lunchtime. Mainly it seems to be take-out sales. The food was freshly made and was very tasty and sufficient. The choices were Duck KungBao, Babi Pangang and fried noodles with chicken. Very well prepared and placed on warming plates. The only drawback was that the food cooled down quickly despite the warming plates. With the duck it was probably also due to the thick serving plate. Can still recommend. Service nice and friendly.

After last Monday I will never order Nasi ramen here again. Terrible

Sometimes very tasty, sometimes just very gross, 2 people had food poisoning. Nasi and noodles are okay, but the rest is really not okay. Even the atjar cannot be kept indoors. The kulukai is viieees! Everything almost dirty. Even the prawn crackers are not as they should be

Kwaliteit gaat steeds verder achteruit. Tot 4 keer toe mihoen met varkensvlees besteld zit er geen vlees bij. Bij klagen krijg ik te horen: Het vlees is op. Nu doen ze er stukjes boterham worst doorheen. Niet te eten. Kip met cashewnoten wordt kip met pinda's. Bediening van de meisjes is goed. Ze verontschuldigen zich steeds maar de kok... Ik was een trouwe klant maar ik ga er niet meer heen.

Never again! Got Chinese. If you order noodles you will get nasi. Lukewarm satay, chicken spring roll without chicken but lots of bean sprouts and the meat smells and tastes like fish. When you call, you get a rude mouth and the phone is hung up. All in all it was not tasty. Waste of money

One of the better Chinese restaurants in the area. Affordable and always good.

I've been living in Schinveld for 1 month now and thought I would eat a tasty Fries sour meat so bad and the snacks were old and spoiled and I reported it...

We've been getting Chinese takeout there for years. Prices, like everywhere else, continue to rise. Food tastes quite good, large portions.

Nice place and a very good take away service

We had ordered 3 menus, for which we had made 1 correction. Came home with the food, no correction!! This has been the case before, but they can't do anything about it. Too bad, but unfortunately.

This Chinese used to be tasty, good and friendly. Friendliness came through the staff. Now 2024 the food is not tasty. Given another chance, but now they are behind the counter themselves. Very unfriendly and food no longer tastes good. Only taste salt. Not recommended anymore.

Chicken satay was undercooked and made from b-grade chicken thighs.

It's cheap Chinese takeaway and for that price it's the best.

Only the spring rolls are still edible. The rest is getting worse and worse, we have already received very bad meat several times. Not recommended, this restaurant used to be good, but that was years ago. The cafeteria has also deteriorated in both quality and quantity recently, fries are getting worse and fewer (large fries look like small ones), snacks are often forgotten or not properly warm, etc. Even if you indicate that this was the case last time. it still goes wrong. So unfortunately the Cafeteria is no longer recommended. After trying the cafeteria again a few times, it is now finally over. Fries remain very bad, even after several comments about them.

The food was not good and friendly is also different. The question as to whether there was also vegetarian Bami was answered with yes, the only thing that came was dry noodles with an egg on it. When we asked for sauce we were given an almost empty pot of Maggi! Was there today for the first and last time.

I picked up our food and the glass noodles with chicken were absolutely not edible... my kip curry with nasi was OK..,... all in all not recommended, as the glass noodles were often not OK.. ...was the last time for me,,,,,,,

It was doable, but for what you have to pay for it... no, it's not worth it

Eindelijk n chinees gevonden die met zorg en met veel smaak zijn eten bereid. Je merkt t al gelijk aan de rijst en gebruikte ingrediënten,dat is n klasse hoger dan de Kroon en Po San. Ik moet er helaas 10km voor rijden,maar ben iedere keer weer overtuigd dat t de moeite loont,omdat dit kwalitatief en qua smaak gewoon de beste chinees is!

Sehr lecker, alles frisch, sauber und ein super Service

Essen war ganz okay. Leider haben wir aber fast ne Stunde drauf gewartet, ob wir nur zu zweit und ausser uns sonst keiner im Restaurant war. Der Großteil der Tische war gar nicht erst eingedeckt und teilweise mit privatem Kram belegt. Hier rechnet man wohl schon gar nicht mehr mit vielen Gästen.

Goed verzorgd en zeer lekker,mijn auto accu defect na twee uur thuis eten was nog behoorlijk warm. Top goede en lekkere waar voor je geld top.

Altijd prima geholpen en vriendelijk personeel, zowel de cafetaria als de Chinees.

Gezellig ingericht. Lekker geluncht en het personeel zeer vriendelijk.

Kann man, muss man aber nicht, es gibt bessere Restaurants. Sind alles Conviniensprodukte.

Kann dort mit Karte zahlen? Würde mich mal interessieren 😏

Riesen Portionen, Laden sauber aber Renovierungsbedürftig. Personal war auch freundlich.

Als afsluiting van onze competitie Pluimschieten zijn we samen gaan eten bij Boeddha met 17personen. Gekozen voor de Chinees Indische rijsttafel voor de hele groep. Het menu was top en meer dan voldoende voor ieder. De bediening was heel vriendelijk en correct. Een geslaagde afsluiting voor onze schietvereniging Revanche.

Heerlijk gegeten. Waren de enige klanten in het restaurant, niet veel sfeer dus. Wel aardige bediening.
