Nou wat slecht, de gerechten waren smakeloos. Gambas in chilli saus pff , saus goed gambas leken wel schoenzolen zo taai. Gambas met knoflook saus, geen idee waar de knoflook gebleven was. Smakeloos. Chinese bami smakeloos. Enzzz nee voor mij hoeft het niet meer. Jammer maar in het begin toen de zaak pas geopend was, toen was alles perfect mooie smaken en malse gerechten.. Maar het is enorm achteruit gegaan. Mijn tip doe er wat aan

I doubt whether 3 stars is too much. The restaurant resembles a fast food restaurant, little atmosphere, music too loud. The food was decent. A few dishes were not served at all, when I asked they bluntly said "better luck next time". The dessert was very limited and everything but freshly prepared. The price of the soft drink is quite high. The table was only cleared when there was a large pile. No, sorry, no next time in Chez Choas for us

Eating here for the umpteenth time. Always good! It's nice that there is no longer a time limit so you can relax and enjoy the good food. The 3 dishes per person per round is more than sufficient. At least not an overcrowded table. Service as always super friendly and very correct. We love coming here!

Unfortunately this is not a good place to come and eat your sushi. It is a fairly busy restaurant. There are regular children's parties, so if you are looking for a quiet and cozy evening of dining out, you can forget that here. Upon entering it is noticeable that the restaurant is neat, except that the dessert/ice cream bar is very unhygienic, there have already been several reviews that mention this. There are plenty of dishes to order, the menu is more or less the same as most sushi restaurants. What is striking, however, is that almost everything tastes the same, there is very little flavor to the sushi and some dishes are really less tasty than in other places. Many other guests dip the sushi in soy sauce for extra flavor, but this is of course not the idea behind sushi. Unfortunately, after a few courses our appetite had disappeared. The staff is also very friendly.

Delicious food, highly recommended. Most portions can easily be shared between two people because they are quite large. It's also nice that you don't have to look at the clock because there is no longer a time limit of 2.5 hours. I think people should be a little more frugal with the lettuce that most dishes are served on, because you don't eat that lettuce anyway. And I also prefer less of the spoonful of garlic that is placed on it. But we will definitely go back here again.

The sushi is really delicious! Also beautifully prepared and you don't often see it like this at an all you can eat. Only the bad smell when you enter, which has been there for years, is less. When you sit down for a while you can hardly smell it anymore, but it is not a nice way to enter a restaurant. Shame! Our plates were also not collected in between, only during a new round when new food was brought. Very nice and hospitable staff!

After today we are going from 5 stars to 2, actually I still hesitated to give 1!! We come here almost monthly, today we were told that they had a new concept, only 3 dishes per person, but unlimited, well, great!! But then we have to wait soooo long for the food, many dishes lukewarm/cold, salmon fried brown, very dry, a few new dishes, not our taste, but that of course depends on the individual, we left after 2.5 hours, and no, the belly is NOT full, but the nose is, from all the irritations, the staff asked if everything tasted, I answered honestly with what is stated above, the response was, sorry, but it is very busy, then things don't run so smoothly!! Well, what can I do about that? I can tap out, and they aren't cheap! Well, for us it was a big disappointment, done with Orange Sushi for now.

Never again! Enjoying a nice meal with my children. Sushi dry, salmon dry. I say something about it. Prawn crackers, as soft as can be, old!. I had already said something twice. Didn't receive 1 dish, again said, I was already done with it. Next round, son wanted ice cream in between. Ice cream containers, dirty, dessert bar almost nothing, uncleaned container. (everything was sold out they said). My son wanted whipped cream on it, grab the can of whipped cream, mold on it! If the restaurant already looks like this with a bottle of whipped cream with mold, what does it look like in the kitchen! I WAS READY. To compensate, first 12th on a bill of 97th. Didn't agree. The best he could do was let me pay 71st, 2 rounds was really not enough for me, and he said that normal people had enough after 2 rounds. I HAVE REALLY EAT 4 ROUNDS THE PREVIOUS TIMES! But I'm not going to GET FOOD POISONING. It would have been polite to accept the 50th, but that's fine, hence this review

After a number of years, I chose this restaurant again. What a disappointment. Previously really “top of the bill”, now tasteless and without atmosphere. Although the sushi is fresh, it tastes like nothing, just like many dishes. Unity sausage. I wonder how this is achieved. Not much to complain about in terms of service. The atmosphere and hygiene really leave a lot to be desired. The toilets are not clean this early evening. Even a lot of algae growth in the sink. Nice, such a playful sink, but make sure you clean it too. 🤢Dessert buffet is a mockery. Dried out profiteroles and the chocolate fountain filled with chocolates? 🤔 Tried it again after years, longing for that time, but definitely skipping it in the coming years...

Our first experience with delivery from this sushi restaurant. Fast delivery and friendly delivery person. Unfortunately the sushi was a bit disappointing. For the first time ever that the salmon was 'wiry'. This affected the taste and we had to chew a lot. We are used to it almost melting in your tongue, nice and buttery. The other sushi was passable, but for us it didn't have a wow factor. Very unfortunate.

Everything is soaked in oil and frying fat. Meat is tough and 5 out of 10 sushi rolls contain eel. Even the pokebowl contains eel. Bit of a strange combination. Maybe the eel was on sale at Makro...?!

This is the first time that I’m disappointed with the eat all you can restaurant. The tablet did not work so we had to use our phone to order food. The food was not served warm. even the creme brulee is cold. There is no fruit in the display counter. and only 3 or 4kinds of pie. Some food was not served too. Over all it wasn’t worth it.

Prima sushi om een avondje mee door te komen. Via een iPad kun je je sushi bestellen en het duurt wel iets langer dan verwacht voordat het eten eenmaal op tafel komt, de zaak was niet vol. Vriendelijk personeel en bij het betalen kregen we nog een paraplu cadeau van de eigenaar. Altijd handig natuurlijk.

Eten erg goed! Vaker afgehaald en wel eens in het restaurant gegeten en altijd vers en lekker! Toch een minpunt voor ons: geen bezorging in Schimmert. Erg jammer, gezien dit voor hun heel kortbij is. Helaas daarom vaker moeten uitwijken naar Sushi uit Geleen en Hoensbroek terwijl we het liefst Sushi Oranje willen!

We hebben Sushi oranje voor de coronacrisis bezocht, en onlangs, ruim erna. Voor wat ik me kan herinneren is de kwaliteit van het eten wat achteruit gezakt. De zaak is netjes, het personeel is vriendelijk, het toilet is prachtig, maar de zaak an sich mist wat sfeer. Voor wat het eten betreft, de rijst van de sushi is een tikkeltje droog en mist wat smaak. De gebruikte sauzen en dressings zijn lekker! Het vlees, zowel de bief als de eend zijn te lang gebakken en niet mals, terwijl de sojabonen vrij hard zijn. Qua smaak is het over het algemeen prima, maar het mist datgene dat me snel terug laat komen naar de zaak.

Heerlijk gegeten en gedronken (miso soup was wel minder, dit was meer water met bouillon en amper groente) aardige bediening en een net restaurant! Helaas kregen we vaker gerechten die wij niet besteld hadden. Ook kregen we wat we de 1ste gang hadden besteld vaker later dan wat we de 2de gang hadden besteld. Hierdoor liep alles door elkaar en hield je niet meer bij wat je nou precies besteld had. Heel erg vervelend ! Aan het einde ook meerdere gerechten terug moeten sturen omdat we dachten dat we klaar waren, maar er opeens nog gerechten op tafel werden gezet die we ergens in het begin/midden van de avond besteld hadden. En als laatste, haal aub die vissen uit het water bij de wasbak. Met handen wassen vloog er veel water met zeep in het water, ik weet zeker dat ze dat niet kunnen waarderen! Leuk concept maar heel slecht uitgevoerd.

What is striking in many 1-star reviews is that they concern the elderly lady who is usually present there. She receives quite a bit of criticism, but bounces it back at the customer. She apparently feels her pride has been offended and is unable to reflect on her own behaviour. The result is that customers do not feel taken seriously by this female Basil Fawlty. I experienced the same thing with her yesterday morning while I was, without realising it, on the remote and faded-looking part of the terrace, because the sandy parking lot merges seamlessly into that apparent terrace (no sign, no separation). Incidentally, there was no customer to be seen either. I tried to photograph a special bird on the adjacent field. She approached me from above, which of course first activates one's own defence system. "Are you coming in to order something?" she asked sharply and clearly rhetorically. "Uh...sorry? Oh, no, I was just looking" I responded genuinely surprised. "This is not a lookout point" she responded immediately. Well, then the tone is set. If she had said "Sir, this is my terrace, would you be so kind as to leave it?" I would of course have understood that, but no, immediately haughty and full in. So I reacted based on what I experienced there when I had arrived five minutes earlier "Oh, I didn't realize that this wilted, unkempt area was part of your terrace." She: "That's the biggest nonsense I've ever heard! I wish you a nice day". Well, it's the tone that sets the music. I had already been inside a few months earlier with a group and then I also saw the traits that made Basil Fawlty so famous. Self-reflection remains difficult, and -certainly if you are dependent on (potential) customers- will translate into staying away from those who have already experienced her behavior, and those who read reviews and can still decide on the basis of that whether or not to go.
