This is so delicious and the staff are very sweet.

The food is good and fresh. Nice place. Unfortunately, things go wrong with the ordering process. Picking up in the restaurant requires a 20-minute wait. And even if you order early and choose a fixed time for delivery, things go wrong. The entire order is lost. It would be nice if you streamlined the ordering process a bit.

We had a delicious meal; both the fries with pulled pork and the spareribs were delicious! We were served quickly and the food was ready fast.

We ate in the cafeteria itself. It's a nice restaurant, but somehow it lacks a cozy atmosphere. We liked the fries, but my husband ordered fries with stew, but the stew wasn't stew at all; it was more like pulled pork without sauce. A real disappointment, especially since this is definitely not a cheap cafeteria. Too bad...

Third time the order is incomplete.

On December 29, 2025, I ordered some food, including half a chicken. I had it delivered. The chicken was considerably smaller than in November 2025, when they were really large half chickens and delicious. Now, it's gone up €1.25, but the chicken was smaller. It was dripping with fat and oil, and inside, there was very little dry meat. Almost all the chicken was in the oil, both inside and out. It was just a mess. My finger was under the oil/fat. No more orders from Cafetaria Koedijk in Meppel.

On the 4th of December 2025, I bought two meals here for the first time: potato chips and vegetables, two milkshakes, and an extra portion of potatoes. It was still over €50. The food was good. Fried potatoes just the way I wanted them, no crispy or overcooked junk. But it's very expensive. I didn't have time to pick it up myself. €4.50 for a delivery of just two minutes is truly absurd. So we won't do that again. A shame, but it's ridiculous. Paying for delivery is fine. But €4.50, and delivering in two minutes by bike. I think this is outrageous. Now, 5 months later, on December 5th, 2025, I finally ordered something because I had time. But it's gotten so expensive in 5 months that it really adds up compared to the snacks I had 5 months ago. I'm really going to stop now, the prices are getting out of control. NOW END OF DECEMBER 2025 LOT MORE EXPENSIVE CHICKEN PIECES SMALLER ONLY €1.025 MORE EXPENSIVE AND ALL OIL AND BAKING FAT ON THE INSIDE LITTLE DRY MEAT LITTLE FLAVOR

We ordered stew and it was sour. When I mentioned it, I was told it wasn't good and I just didn't like it. It came fresh from the freezer, they said. When we arrived at our holiday home, I had to throw up because of this disgusting meat.

Food is fine but delivery is crap.. the delivery times I'm already like why but oh well everyone has their own choices so I have to deal with that and can't say anything about it.. but now about today.. ordered on purpose an hour and a half before desired delivery time so that nothing can go wrong.. you can feel it coming.. half an hour late.. I called after fifteen minutes and you are told that it is busy.. okay, it can happen that it is busy, you don't hear from me for 10 minutes but half an hour while you know well in advance that the order has arrived I think is unacceptable.. I also didn't really like how the food was in the bag.. frikandel xxl special upside down, hamburger buns on their side and you pay 4.5 euros delivery fee for that.. next time I'll go back to the Markies

Really delicious soft serve ice cream. Much better than, say, KFC, considering the portion size and the price. Definitely worth it. I'll definitely be back for another delicious treat.

Friendly staff and a nice shop, but 50% of the time we order, something is missing. It might be a different sauce than we ordered, or a snack or even a whole chip is missing. We now always check before we leave to make sure we received what we ordered and paid for.

I keep trying occasionally because it's convenient (close by). Unfortunately, I'm writing a review now. After waiting 10 minutes after ordering, I thought I'd write something about it. If my review was typed in before my order was ready, it goes online, and if they're ready sooner, we'll accept it. But unfortunately, every time I've ordered food, so far, 5 out of 5 times it's ready at least 10 minutes late, or even 20 minutes late. Always small orders (for 2 people), which doesn't seem very complicated to me for a cafeteria where most things are ready within 10 minutes. I understand that the occasional wait isn't a problem. But if it's always a wait, you'll need to plan accordingly. No excuses or anything like it's customary to deliver orders 15 minutes late on average.

06-10-204 update Even though I wouldn't order anymore, I did it again today. Ordered for €60 euros. And once again we were unable to deliver the order correctly. Once again something was missing from the order. And the snacks seem to have been packed right into the bags. The self-learning capacity of the snack bar is nil. We will order from a different snack bar next time. --‐----‐-------- Visited the snack bar around 7pm. Apparently the staff is tired. There is no nice atmosphere. When we got home the order turned out to be wrong again. This happens regularly. After calling, the large fries were delivered after a while. It's nice when others have already finished their food. The decision has now been made not to visit Snackbar de Koedijk in the future.

At half past eight you walk in and order your food. 10 minutes later it is on the counter and you are told that you have to take it with you instead of eating it at the table. We ordered food that also requires cutlery, so that was great... the store is open until 9 am, but the staff wants to make sure that the key can be turned at 9 am. Then I haven't even mentioned the total rubbish that people call food here... it was salty and they simply throw the pork tenderloin into the grease pit so that it becomes nice and dry, so that the mess cannot be removed. Ball tent!

I keep falling for it again and again. Let's go to the Koedijk because it is close by. The service is rough, just like the "smiles" on the faces of the employees. The enthusiasm really shines through. The milkshake is nothing more than a thin, but too thick soft ice cream for the straw, with a distant hint of banana. The fries were fried hard and crispy. I couldn't get it to the fork because it kept breaking. “Number 128,” was shouted. I took the bag and tried to say thank you, but the lady behind the counter had already turned around to remove the next batch of moderately cremated fries from the fat. First tried to order by telephone, you were put on hold for 15 minutes and asked if you could be patient, but never got a response, so I went to the cafeteria to order there. The lady at the cash register was really arrogant and not customer friendly at all. When I told her that I had unfortunately waited a very long time over the telephone, she gave no apologies, just “it is very busy”. Ordered food for €60 and can't even say thank you, here is the receipt and you're done. All the staff are incredibly unmotivated and grumpy at work, even though you have an open kitchen. Then we waited a very long time and we also missed a lot of things when we got home, so we couldn't be reached by phone, so we left it at that. Quality was unfortunately also very poor and greasy. Not again for us…

The restaurant is nice and good service. Only I ordered fries at 6:00 PM and when I got them they were double fried fries. If I had wanted that, I would have ordered fresh fries.

Terrible!! My order was "lost" up to 5 times and was always put away as the last person waiting. Not pleasantly approached by the staff, I just had to deal with it. Then lukewarm fries, bland snacks. No, I didn't see me there again. Big 1 that they also deserve! Update: Received an answer from the owner today, she was not completely satisfied with her answer. The point is that I had to wait an hour and a half and my order was lost 5 times. Then you would expect that they would want to help you out with your order asap? Nope, up to 5 times (!!) you just end up at the back of the queue with receipts. Very sad! And if you, as a customer, file a complaint about this with the staff, you will be approached in an antisocial and grumpy manner. From now on I will get my fries from Jurre, no hassle and always ready on time. 😁

When I got home I was missing a loose ball. Called and they said it wasn't on their receipt! From my receipt it seems to me that there are 2 different receipts. You can forget something, but be honest

4 years ago this was a good snack bar. Not anymore. Everything looks clean and tidy, but apparently baking fries is an art. Tried it again today, but it was way too greasy. Fries were completely engorged with fat, as if the fat was not hot enough. Snacks are fine by the way. This was the last time I had fries here. I'll drive a bit for good fries.

My friend ordered fries, I didn't know it yet. When my time came to order I was half yelled at. “Couldn't you order something earlier?!” “You can see us having a cup of coffee.” I got to my head. I find this completely inappropriate. Hence the low stars.

If you order coke with your meal, you will receive cans, and they will charge you a 0.15 cent deposit. And then you can't hand the cans in there, bad thing. We will never come here again to eat. Just very bad business

very large selection, tasty snacks and also gluten-free options, also clearly displayed. Unfortunately, the fries are not really tasty and neither are the rasp fries. I have been coming here for years and the taste has actually become increasingly distasteful to me. I think it's the oil they use. the prices are now also crazy high, while you can really eat at another snack bar in Meppel for much less (which unfortunately I have also been doing recently, you actually want to support your local catering industry). It is very nice that they have gluten-free options, but unfortunately these snacks are not tasty, but that often happens with gluten-free.

Food was tasty. Too bad about the very unfriendly old lady who was behind the cash register. Not customer friendly at all, everything happened with a sigh or and you were looked at in an arrogant way. I wasn't the only one who was bothered by it, but the entire snack bar was watching her.

Was always great! But unfortunately less so lately. Also a new, more confusing ordering system. The dishes are simply of lower quality than one or two years ago. The extra garnishes on the menus used to be delicious and fresh, but are now meager and weak. Nowadays you have to pay separately for almost all submissions. For example, a single croquette is 2.10, but a croquette sandwich is 2.85, but the cost of the sandwich (0.75) and sauce are added. Very strange. A hamburger sandwich no longer comes with lettuce or sauce as standard. The hamburger itself is simply a round, flat frikandel with some sour-tasting herbs. All in all, not the quality we were used to. Staff and pick-up times are still great! So benefit of the doubt between 2 and 3 stars.

For the 5th time in a row the order is not complete... a lot of money for your fries but meager portions, when your 2 people quickly spend 3 tens for those 12 pieces of fries and the orders are incomplete for the umpteenth time. While it is on the receipt and has been paid for, I think this is a bad thing. That's why you get a review several times in a row.

The fries were good, but the frying fat has a slightly different taste than before (new fat or cleaning agent?), what was striking was that not all employees wear gloves while they all touch the food, so there is room for improvement.

Definitely recommended for fries, regular snacks and certainly salad. Less so in the higher segment. Stew not hot, schnitzel very tough and the fried potatoes came from the deep fryer. The hot meat sandwich also deserves a better fate.

Just picked up my telephone order at the correct time, the queue at the cash register was quite long. At checkout, the boy indicates that my order has been there for quite a long time??!! An employee was called in, according to her, still perfectly warm, but yes, at home a few meters away - limp, already cooled fries and cheese soufle are not exactly tasty!! This company used to be significantly better! In short: I went and picked up some old-fashioned fries for convenience after a busy day, but they were disappointingly tasteless and I didn't eat them. Next time I'd rather have the convenience of my Airfryer, crispy and warm!

The building, the car wash and the area where you can vacuum your car look very professional, especially the fact that you can vacuum your car indoors is perfect. When washing the car, you still need to pay more attention, the car was not clean in some places and the hubcaps also leave a lot to be desired. Hence 3 stars.

You call to pick up your order, it would be ready in 20 minutes. You sit there for another half hour waiting. The burger had been next to the baking tray for a while, so it was taken home lukewarm. Just stick to simple fries and snacks instead of those menus.

The 2 stars are purely for the friendly staff. Ordered a chicken sandwich. It was more like an onion sandwich with 1 small piece of chicken and a lot of unnecessary sauce. Not really recommended.

Nice cafeteria with good plates.

My burger was thrown into the bag in front of me, which I thought was strange but didn't mean anything. Once we got home it was a broken burger full of oil. Had to go back the next day to ask for my money back and the lady had the audacity to deny throwing the burger. Apparently, as a colored person you cannot order food in that tent.

This is a hip snack tent lunchroom for a somewhat drab 70s neighborhood. In any case, both the products sold and the interior are above average. Don't expect artisanal products, but it is pleasant to sit and eat here, both inside and outside.

Friendly staff, found the snack bar somewhat disappointing. Fries were fine, chicken schnitzel sandwich was disappointing. Lots of breadcrumbs around the meat, so you couldn't taste any chicken, and a frikandel served in a fries container was not really easy to eat. A clean and fresh place.
