Cafetaria Lammers in Stromenwijk/'t Zand

After doing some research while camping, I ended up here looking for some "fresh" fries. Unfortunately, this was disappointing compared to what I had read; the fries were soggy and greasy, and tasteless. The XXL frikadel was not warm on the inside. Very disappointing

Eaten here yesterday with my mates after a day at the beach. Great place, delicious food, comfortable seating, and friendly staff.

Friendly service. Neatly presented. Delicious food.

The best specialty sauce in the area. Tasty fresh fries and friendly service.

I bought a cheese puff but didn't get it! Soggy fries. The frikandellen speciaal didn't even have a slice, so they just poured the sauce on it. Bad business!

Delicious fries and very friendly staff!

The food tasted good, but the service was less and the staff members were arguing because someone had dropped food on the floor and then put it back in the fryer.

Order incomplete and bad fries. Lots of small, hard fries.

Incredibly good French fries and a sensational amount. Keep up the good work.

Delicious fries and snacks. Quite expensive for fries 🙁

Ordered a large French fries with a Berenhape Satay. The quality of both was exceptionally good. Also friendly staff. I would love to come back here again!

After receiving the wrong order several times, I'm completely done with it and will never go back! The service is also terrible, and the staff are grumpy.

They have really tasty fries here.

Just ordered fries and snacks and were unfortunately disappointed when I got home. The fries were, just like last time at the end of December, unfortunately limp. We left half of them and had to fish for well-cooked fries (or better said: slightly less limp than the others). It wasn't quite raw, they were so pale. Too bad, because we always enjoy coming here.

Minimalist. Table stuck. Pleasant service. Food was okay.

Shame! No longer the Lammers of the past... It will be a long time before we try it again.

The fries were overcooked and the frikadel was not tasty

Very tasty fries and bacon hamburger, the sauce is also very tasty, quite unique with that. Much better than the competition in the immediate area. Nice and friendly staff.

Mainly rock hard, small fries. Staff are swearing while preparing the food. Unfortunately, no longer the quality of the past.

Ordered large fries, which the two of us couldn't finish. Delicious mayonnaise on top 👍

Quick service and good products

Tasty fries and good snacks. They use their own homemade fries sauce for their frikandel special. Please ask about this.

Lammers uses a strange method of mandatory tipping. If you buy cans of drinks, you (of course) pay the mandatory deposit per can. However, if you return the cans empty, you will not receive a deposit back!! If you ask why, you will be told that money will not be returned because the deposit goes into the tip jar. 'Otherwise we will never get a tip, sir' was the answer.... Dear 'Lammers', it might be useful to know: it is legally required to return the deposit charged to customers. That is what the deposit system was set up for. Not to create a nice tip jar (without a customer's permission)...

It's a shame there was a fight behind the counter, you don't do that in front of customers

Always tasty, fast & top service! Middelburg is now indispensable.

Delicious food, not enough seats inside when it rains. Still highly recommended. Unfortunately, the tables are not cleared or cleaned particularly often or well. But I'll still come back for the food!

Always tasty, fast & top service! Middelburg is now indispensable. Tommy & team: keep it up!

It was very disappointing this time. The fries were overcooked. Hard and all small pieces. Not good. Too bad I drove there especially from Vlissingen

when your website is open and you find yourself in front of a closed door, VERY Pity!!!

Tasted delicious, it's been a long time since we ate such tasty fries :-))

Perfect Cafeteria with delicious food that you can expect in a Cafeteria. Good and fast service in a good atmosphere. Very busy at times. But that's what you get when you deliver a good product.

Delicious fries special, frikandel special and super nasibal.

Not great, better somewhere else. There are much better chip shops there.

Licked ice cream was pressed back into the dip. An employee was talking to a man with a child at the side of the counter, in front of the toilets. Both had ice cream with dip. The man then pushed his ice cream back into the dip after eating it from his ice cream. That is not how it works!!! The employee ignores this! The fries were average. Nothing special. We didn't really like the Stoofvlees, it was very sweet (this isn't the case elsewhere), unfortunately Fritt spezial has nothing like what you're used to. Staff was friendly.

Not what it used to be, but out of respect for the Lammers family, 5 stars

Delicious fries, stew and hamburger special. Recommended!

We don't need a deep fat fryer at home with this place nearby. Great fries, delicious sauces (try their home-made speciaalsaus!). Most of the time efficient service and a wealth of options. Parking on the street can be an issue.

The have the best French fries in Middelburg and surrounding area. The staff is the best!!

Fries Stew meat (from our own kitchen) that you can eat your fingers with. Delicious!

Quality is excellent, as is the friendly service with a nice terrace

Sticky tables and floors. Fries overcooked, stew sauce mediocre. Staff member unfriendly. 1 star because they have the frikandel xxl.

Delicious fries and friendly staff.

Super tasty, super good, tastiest fries and burgers

Super tasty fries. And great burgers last time they forgot something because it was super busy and they delivered it promptly and great company

If I were you I would go for the HOMEMADE MEATBALL!! Whenever I'm in the area I always drive over to get one :)

Best home-made French-fries, stew-sauce and special mayonnaise-sauce. Best homemade fries, stew and special sauce.

Very good fries peanut sauce very tasty.

Delicious fries! We regularly go there for a delicious soft ice cream. Friendly staff.

Great fries these days. Had several orders in recent times where something was wrong; usually forgot something or just another product. It went well the last two times, but that's why we always went to another one; Maybe we'll go to Lammers again more often. But make sure you get the right order! The staff thought it was very strange that we checked to see if everything was there. If it was wrong, say, 3 times out of the last 5 times, that's not surprising, is it? Therefore 4 stars, sorry. Atmosphere is fine; the snack bar has been well renovated :) Edit: orders are all correct now. Recommended

The food was very tasty Ordering online was no problem either, but it was a pity that when it was supposed to be ready and I came to pick it up, they found out that they had not yet started with that order and only found out two minutes later that they didn't have everything in house and so I had to look for something else Fortunately, everything was made up for by the fantastic quality and taste

Super tasty fries. Busy but definitely worth it!

Highly recommended chip shop, within walking distance of Stadscamping. Absolutely good quality.

Delicious fries and snacks Nice staff

fantastic snack bar, very good food and quickly arranged! The work is done well and efficiently, and everything is under control. Highly recommended!

As always, the tastiest fries and special sauce!

Ordered online, quickly helped on site despite it being busy, tasty fries and an even tastier fricadel (meatball), clearly home-made

Best fries and delicious meatball

Worthless staff. We asked if we could pick up our order earlier but were told no. It was too busy, and that's it! What surly staff!!!

Fine food! And good portions, great

tasty fries. tasty sauce. good service. small terrace.

At the weekend we always like to eat fries from Lammers. Unfortunately, this time we felt cheated... The size of the containers has become much smaller and you clearly get much fewer fries for the same money. I understand that you are bothered by the higher costs, but so are we as customers. You at least expect that you will get the same amount of fries as before and not that the containers will suddenly become a lot smaller. Certainly the quantity in a small bowl of fries no longer makes sense. We won't be coming back here for a while. Unfortunately, because your fries were always very tasty with the special sauce.

Very unfriendly staff! Last Saturday there were 5 men/women behind the counter chatting, it couldn't have been more of a good afternoon. It took quite a while before we could order, which is quite strange when you have nothing to do.

Top products, delicious. Fresh and traditionally made.

Very good Kaassouffle, I think everything else is delicious there too. Also nice employees who work on everything with concentration. Was very crowded.

Delicious fries and snacks! Also very friendly staff.

Unbeatable fresh nasi balls. Always top quality and fresh fries. Never exchange these for factory items.

Lammers is a household name in Middelbrg, the staff is always nice, the quality of the fries is top!

It was tasty, it was very busy, meatballs from our own kitchen are highly recommended, fries could bake a little longer, but I wish they were a little crispier.

Always delicious and good experiences. Unfortunately today (5/6/2022 around half past six) all fries were rock hard. We often get fries from 't Zand from Vlissingen because we think that the fries in Vlissingen are not as tasty anywhere. But today was the first bad experience for all three of us. All fries were hard not just a few. Very sorry.

Delicious fries and snacks. Friendly and pleasant staff!

Helped quickly! Even though it was extremely busy

Top shop with fresh products, the best meatballs and good staff. Will go there more often. Nice job.

Yummy Yummy. We like coming here.

Not customer friendly service from a somewhat hefty young lady. Not fun and clumsy. I was asked whether it was not possible to convert the fricandel into another snack for an additional charge during a social deal. The fries were hard and burnt. So no Lammers in Middelburg again. Old Lammers would have been angry.

Nothing unusual. Friendly staff.

Delicious fries, friendly staff

Made a reservation, but the place suddenly turned out to be closed. The employee was mopping, but even though we had already paid, no communication was possible.

Quick service and delicious food

I never buy anything from Lammers. I had to park somewhere else because it was in my spot on private property

The fries with stew. It's really delicious and highly recommended

Nice chip shop known in the area, nice service and products, have been coming there for many years

Delicious fries and meatball, friendly service, highly recommended

Nice terrace and tasty fries. Big dollop of mayo by the way. The Zeeland bacon croquette is a small thing.

Delicious fries, enjoyed it very much!

Good fries, the staff did everything neatly

Good fries and friendly staff. You can sit outside (covered). I can't say anything about the snacks as I haven't tried them (don't eat meat).

Delicious fries, fast service, nice and hard-working employees. Top!

Too much sauce and hard fries.....

Came in with a group, ordered and paid separately, but it was awkwardly put in 1 bag and the two women were also antisocial and grumpy towards us.

Nice fries, but nothing special

Toilet was closed in the morning, small minus point. The rest was food 👍

Fast service, despite the crowds, staff are well coordinated, friendly service, and the food is very good. Everything well arranged. I.v.m. corona rules!!

The tastiest para stew in Middelburg

Not special. Just delicious fries.

Always delicious super fresh fries thank you!

Special sauce and minced meat ball 👌

Delicious fries, I've been a fan since I was a kid! And the secret recipe for the special sauce is unmatchable :-) Friendly staff and good service!

Simply good fries, and they have the best homemade meatballs

Good fries and good service, a place to come back to

When we go from Hoofddorp to visit family in Vlissingen or Middelburg, we of course have to stop by Lammers for fries with special sauce and a delicious meatball.
