Snack bar run by Chinese people who barely speak Dutch and prefer to communicate with each other in their own language. The hamburger bun was soggy and greasy, and the fries were tough. It was my last time there.

Last year I got an ice cream; there was a hair in it, so I asked for a new one, but they made a fuss about it. I then threw the ice cream in the sink and made a new one. Today was a second chance. Again, we wanted to get an ice cream; the lady was on her phone while flossing with a floss fork. When she saw us, she wanted to get an ice cream, at which point I asked if she would wash her hands because she had just been flossing. She refused and asked a colleague if he would scoop the ice cream.

Actually, never any reason to complain. The place has been renovated quite nicely, but they still have those ugly tables and chairs. The service is okay, with some speaking Dutch a bit better than others. Sometimes that is difficult. The food is usually good, but I hate paper containers and wooden forks. However, the opening hours are extremely limited.

Got a pork chop and fries. Simply inedible. The fries were very soft and not fried. And the carbonation was very poor quality. Have a Chinese make nasi, but don't run a fry shop.

Ordered 3 shawarma sandwiches. They gave us 3 white rolls from Jumbo, with a dollop of garlic sauce and a scoop of meat for almost €20. Outrageous! No lettuce or regular pita bread. See photo. We called first to see if we could do anything about it, but no, they apparently think it's worth the money. So, so be it. This makes no sense.

They provided the food for my son's birthday (25 people). Everything was perfectly arranged, it was ready exactly on time and was delicious. Thank you!

Terrible snack bar! The fries are definitely not very tasty. Hoogland's tastes much fresher and better. It's also very strange that this snack bar is always closed during lunch hours. They don't open until 2:00 PM. So strange!

Glad they've reopened after the fire. Unfortunately, the first order didn't go well. The fries were cold when I got home, the order was incomplete (which was resolved), and the quality of the products is lower than I've been used to. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt for now, and if not, I'll go back to Hoogland.

Finally open again after a fire at the neighbor's, everything has been nicely renovated. Personally, I think they could be a bit friendlier. For example, I had a special frikadel, and it had almost no sauce or onion. A real shame for €3.20. But it's good for Bakhuus to be open again.

What an incredibly disgusting Cheeseburger menu, NEVER come back here again!!

New owner has started, today, fries were good (will ask for "well done" fries next time), sauce could have been a little more. But it was fine.

Unfortunately, since there was a new owner (Bakhuus) in this cafeteria, things have not improved. Meager portions of fries and also meager amount of sauce. Such a shame if you have leftover fries and not enough sauce. Update; I like it when action is taken in response to a review. The portions of fries are now fine, as is the amount of sauce. And what I can also appreciate is that everything is put in ''paper'' containers and given in a paper bag. Great 👌🏼 Thanks for the improvements.

Update 2024. New owner bakhuus. Previous owner generous. Now with the new owner, small portions of fries, little sauce and little soft ice cream when you order ice cream. I find the atmosphere even less pleasant than it already was. Got fries last week and they were weaker than weak... Too bad!

Kom er alleen omdat het dichtbij is

Kom hier al jaren en de smaak is onovertroffen t.o.v. concullega's uit de omgeving. Veel voor weinig. Meestal veel te veel friet in de zakken. Eigenaren komen wel een beetje afstandelijk over maar service is prima. Hygiëne is voor verbetering vatbaar en de babyfoon waar je je bestelling door moet geven komt wel erg goedkoop over, kan gewoon niet. Jammer maar helaas, sinds kort hebben ze de prijzen extreem verhoogd waardoor wij het voortaan lekker zelf thuis klaarmaken.

Eten is wel lekker, maar als je belt dan nemen ze niet op heb wel 5 keer gebeld!!

Ik kom hier wel eens voor mijn snacks en patat, softijs en natuurlijk milkshakes. Ik vind het hier geweldig en ze zijn ook niet duur.

Een snackbar waar wij als bewoners van de wijk Nieuwland al jaren komen. Bediening is prima, wel vaak druk. Telefonisch bestellen is dan een uitkomst. Eten is van prima kwaliteit! Hygiëne van de tafels en vloer kan wel beter.
