Cafetaria 't Hoekje Nijkerk in Nijkerk-stad

We are busy with the renovation of the station building and get snacks every Friday and are very satisfied.

We received a very warm welcome at Cafetaria 't Hoekje and had a delicious meal. The food was excellent, the fries cooked to perfection. The portions were generous. I had the "Katamaran" (two frikandellen and special fries). A small salad was also included. The only drawback if you want to eat in is the lack of parking. We were lucky that a space became available just then; otherwise, we would have left.

We love coming here for some fries and a snack. Friendly and fast service. The fries and snack are served with some salad on the side!

Had a delicious meal and received friendly service.

Delicious food, good service, and ready as agreed.

Good food, especially tasty crunchy filet burgers, and fast service. Soft serve ice cream is also great!

Had a very tasty meal. "Loaded" the spicy chicken. Super tender meat with vegetables, nicely seasoned. Friendly staff.

Had a delicious meal for a reasonable price and a tasty soft serve ice cream for dessert.

Had some delicious fries and snacks.

Perhaps I had somewhat high expectations because they are the best cafeteria in Gelderland. The fries were factory-made, so that was very disappointing. The snacks were fine, served on a plate with a bit of salad, which was a plus point. A fine cafeteria, but really not worth the detour.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They're quick to help. Delicious snacks and fries.

I don't quite understand; this is the first time I ordered fries for delivery. We live fairly close by. And yet, something went wrong. The snack and cheese soufflé were fine, but the fries were completely dried out. Such a shame. What went wrong?

Delicious food, friendly service.

Good quality and friendly staff

We always love getting food from these neighbors. 🙂

A very, very bad delivery driver arrived an hour after the agreed-upon time to say the food was missing. We called the cafeteria and they simply didn't offer a solution. Then you have to wait hours for your money back. Not worth a single point for us. This was the last time we ordered from you.

Perfect dish, more than enough, the taste was good, we will use it more often, delivery was on time and friendly and nice and warm.

A neat cafeteria with friendly staff. And if you eat there, you get a real plate instead of plastic containers. That's how it should be. Highly recommended.

Very well-fried fries and snacks. Highly recommended

Nice place, good food, friendly staff.

We went there for dinner today. It was delicious, as always. The people were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was really good quality. We enjoyed it as usual.

Nice snack bar/cafeteria with friendly staff and a wide selection at reasonable prices these days. Highly recommended!

We had a chicken schnitzel and chicken thigh satay. It was delicious. The meat was tender and the portions were large. The salad bun wasn't typical either.

Super nice people, always eat well, if there is anything it is resolved, we come here very regularly and will continue to do so

Delicious snack bar with Dutch specialties. Highly recommended.

Good, fast and friendly service! Delicious fries!

Always good food and fast delivery!

Went again for the first time since there was a new owner... must say, great progress, it was pleasantly busy again... and the food was great!!

Called because the fries were not delivered! Subsequent delivery of the fries would be dessert, so it is no longer desirable! These costs are quickly compensated! Contact about this was very friendly and the pork tenderloin satay menu was delicious, large portion too!

Delicious food, lots of top quality fries, satay and Mexican.

Large cone with delicious crispy (well done) fries with mayo

They cannot handle crowds, so you have to wait a long time. It is also distasteful that someone from the staff is chewing gum while taking orders. Got fries special instead of fries war…

Today for a short visit in Nijkerk. Searched Google for the best Cafeteria. That's how I ended up at 't Hoekje. Friendly employees and the quality and taste of the fries, snack and fresh salad is very good. There is also a spacious and clean seating area to enjoy your order. I was positively surprised and would love to come back to you next time.

A normal chip shop like many others

Went to get a nice soft ice cream..

Good snack bar, you can taste that they use fresh fat, also good crunchy and friendly people!!

Stopped here on the way home. Ordered fries, frikandel special and hogweed satay sauce. Friend ordered fries and spring roll. It was neatly served on a plate with real cutlery ;-) And the quality was fine, nothing to complain about. I thought it had a new owner, maybe take a closer look at the inventory, it's a bit dated (same as the last time I came there years ago).

Hot meat sandwich is highly recommended!

Friendly staff, good service and the food was delicious. When you eat there it is served on a plate. (Just like you're in a restaurant) The fries and snacks were delicious and everything freshly made. (even if you're not a fries lover.) Milkshake and ice cream left me wanting more.

Delicious food! You can sit outside with a drink.

Even with the new owners, it remains a nice cafeteria

Delicious food at 't Hoekje. Good portions. Pleasant staff. My sauce was finished before my fries and it was completely refilled by the attentive owner. Absolutely great. Definitely going to eat 👍🏻

Went to eat at the corner with the family. Staff is very friendly. I got a kids menu for the children and it came with a nice surprise, which kept them very happy. The food was fresh and the portions were large. We were able to sit outside and enjoy all the goodies. Definitely recommended!

6:00 PM coincidentally walked the longest with the 2 dogs and wanted a snack. Friendly people and caring for the dogs who were immediately given a bowl of water. The food was super tasty with lots of fresh vegetables and a lot for that amount. You are top performers and a good asset to Nijkerk. Maybe buy AA drinks and you will definitely get a 10

Super friendly staff and the fries are delicious!

Friendly service and close to the station. So if you have to wait a while and you want to have a snack, you should really go here. Only 2 minutes walk.

Best snack bar in Nijkerk, old-fashioned, delicious!!!

Maybe it was just me, because I wasn't completely fit, but the fries weren't all that great, even though you can normally wake me up for them. The snacks were fine.

Great fries for a great price. We also received friendly service and were able to enjoy our food at a table in front of the shop.

Recently had a good meal again and helped the Wong family with the fiber optic 👍🙏

Something different than McDonalds on the return trip. Supplier for the neighborhood and beyond. There's a lot going on! Beautiful golden fries and tasty snacks. Smooth operation. On the next transit we will detour again.

Clean and tidy, it now has a different owner

Good fries and snacks super tasty. I'm not from Nijkerk myself and came here by chance, well I had a delicious meal😘

Picked up an order at the corner today. What a mockery. Ordered a “Dutch fries”, 2 slices of ham on old lettuce and almost raw fries underneath. You might think, what could you possibly ruin with fries? Still had to pay about 8 euros for this. Even the spring roll was still completely soft. There was also a hair on the spring roll, although this can always happen. Being able to throw everything away immediately and order a pizza. In any case, I will never get my food here again.

Super tasty fries and frikadel special

Fries are very dry and not salted enough. Peanut sauce and satay sauce are the same

Lots of choice of vegetarian snacks and delicious crispy fries! Correction: The snack bar has removed almost all vegetarian snacks from the menu. Shame. Now you might as well order from one of the other many snack bars in Nijkerk.

Pleasant and cheerful people, food very well recommended Come visit again soon

Ordered a few weeks ago. Seemed like the fries were fried in old fat. Bad smell, taste and not crispy. Way too little sauce. I wanted some onions and there were exactly 3 pieces of onion in it. Frikadel special was okay, but I have certainly had better. Too bad, I don't remember the food being this bad here in the past...

Poorly cooked meat croquette and satay croquette had even fallen apart. Croquette very small too. Soft and greasy. Tasty satay sauce and fries. But never croquette again.

Fries not fried properly. The order was ready, but the staff first did other things before the order was handed over. So a cold hamburger and lukewarm fries. When the owner is there, things go well

fries were limp and lukewarm, the snacks were lukewarm and limp, spring roll was limp, the pork tenderloin satay was so dry that I had to throw it away to avoid choking, you asked for extra fried onion and you get extra burnt onion, you expect that for the price you get a bowl of fries, but instead you get limp fries in a bag with a small bowl of sauce, the salad tasted like cardboard as if it was expired and the comment.... they don't read it, we ask you not to ring the bell... but knock on the door window and yet they still ring the doorbell and dare to look back to see if they will get a tip too... in short, money and food gone, luckily the wheelie bin likes it. Not recommended anymore was the last time

The fries were mediocre. Super fries were a small box with mayonnaise, onions, curry and satay sauce mixed together. Owner was also shouting through the shop. But not the feeling that it was out of frustration.

Good milkshake, almost as good as the one from KFC

Ordered fries and stew. Delivery 35 minutes later than agreed, fries limp and stew little taste. Shame.

Delicious fries and snacks and super nice staff!

Very tasty fries, definitely recommended if you are looking for a snack bar in Nijkerk

Good nice place in a residential area.

On the door there is a large “staff wanted” written on the door. Well not that strange. Once inside, 4 children are frying fries and running the business. Behind this the boss is watching from a distance. Looks just like the North Korean dictator. Not nice, and everything has to be done quickly. Doesn't even have a whip with him yet. Corona rules do not apply here. Apparently this gentleman and his staff are above the law. Staff are extremely close together. My advice to the staff - and Jochem who was continuously corrected by the dictator - go and work at the action or supermarket. Much better salary, and not someone who is always breathing down your neck that everything has to be done quickly. Furthermore, the fries and other snacks were not special either. Also poor and overdue maintenance in the business, and a sauna has just arrived. No, this North Korean dictator does not care about his staff, only thinks about money and of course everything as quickly as possible!

Ordered yesterday from the corner. First delivered an hour late. When calling, foreigners who could not speak English were on the line. After an hour of being very ill, probably poop bacteria. Those people are not the most hygienic, so to speak. So from now on it will be a Dutch snack bar for me. So I don't recommend it here for your health.

Good food an service. Everything is also delivered to your home at a competitive price.

5 euros for a big fries war! Much too expensive for a normal cafeteria where the tables are already dated and it doesn't look all that fresh. The fries themselves are nothing special either. Fries are normal, a bit on the crispy side. Definitely not worth 5 euros! As you can see from the photo, the prices are not bad. You pay a fair amount for all the large fries. I have to say that it is a decent frying pan that you probably won't finish on your own. Satay sauce is too sweet, but I think that's a personal choice. Would have preferred the spicier version. Something positive is the staff, very friendly! 2/5

Good food and ready quickly. Friendly staff! Good clean!

Nice job Good food Enough choice Not expensive Good service

Delicious food with very customer-friendly staff. I have Chinese dishes available and they usually deliver to your home by bicycle 👍🏻

Small very clean neighborhood snack bar. Delicious hot meat sandwich. Friendly staff.

Good quality food and very friendly staff. Highly recommended!

It really is a great business with very nice people

The best cafeteria in Nijkerk in terms of quality. Good food and friendly service. I'll drive around for it. The chicken satay and spring rolls certainly stand out.

Looked neat. Staff friendly. Food from the chip shop looked and tasted good. Downside: They had closed the paper bag of the fries, which made the fries soft.

Nice assortment from the baking tray, excellent delivery and tasty fries!!

Food always delicious. Good delivery service

Bad chip shop. Fry all the snacks in a large pile on a frying pan that is too small. Meatball from the gravy doesn't look like anything. The atmosphere is also lousy.

Friendly people and excellent food.

Very noisy service once but never again

Perfect snack bar for when you're hungry and have to wait half an hour for the train. Friendly staff. Tasty burgers.

Small-scale snack bar but friendly staff. Food also very good!!

Traditionally a tasty snack. Has been around for ten years. A household name in Nijkerk. Limited parking in front of the door. Park your car at the level crossing. One minute of walking.

The fries were fried too hard, I order br hamburger Janneke, there is no joppie sauce on it, which is a shame, they are not used to making so many mistakes.

The most delicious fries, well done on request!

Finally a snack bar where they make decent fries, not those nasty limp fries!

Great meal. Everything has a nice taste and temperature. Friendly staff. We will definitely come back someday.

If I do get fries, I'll go to the corner

Always friendly, super staff and the food is also great

Ordered fries for 4 people...just enough for 3 people. Ordered a hot meat sandwich. When I got home, 1 big mess in the bowl. No, no more Hoekje for us

Good atmosphere and tasty food!
