Good quality fries and snacks. Friendly staff too.

It's fine in itself, but I find it disgusting that all the staff work wearing gloves and use those same gloves to accept money, grab a dirty cloth, and then take the food. Gloves are for food safety, not to keep your own hands clean. Handling money and then using those same gloves to make a sandwich—yuck.

In the early years, they were reasonably good. Lately, unfortunately, they've been a lot worse. The fries used to be quite good, but now you really can't taste anything anymore, unfortunately... no potato flavor left, which used to be the case. The chicken satay is very mediocre in terms of quality, not to mention the satay sauce... they urgently need to do something about this. I must honestly add, though, that it was about 34 degrees, so those people are obviously doing their best. But I expect more from them.

Always tasty. The staff is friendly and fast. Every weekend we get delicious fries with satay sauce and a snack.

It's a good cafeteria. We were helped well by a young man. The fries were delicious, and you can add your own salt, which is also great. The snacks were also perfectly fried. Plus, you get plenty of fries for the price. Great place!

The people working at the chip shop are really friendly. There's also a cozy atmosphere; when I was there, it was quiet and pleasant. They've won the award for the tastiest fries several times, and I understand why people find these fries very tasty. The second time I went, I didn't like the fries as much. There are no restrooms here, which is a shame.

Good chip shop. The food was ready quickly. The fries were very tasty, though a bit salty. The snacks are also good. The price is reasonable. The seating inside is small with limited space. There's one long table with room for about 12 people, that's it. Edit: Went for dinner for the second time. The experience was much worse. A lot of small fries (as if they were the bottom of the bag). We got the wrong sauce, stew instead of satay sauce. The sparerib sauce was very tasty, but unfortunately, the ribs had some tough bits. As a result, the review has been changed from 5 to 3 stars.

I ate here on a Saturday afternoon with one other person. The food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly. Although the interior is quite small, it's cozy. The price-quality ratio is excellent. Definitely recommended for a quick bite.

Food just got frikandel special swimming in onions and only a drop of curry and no mayonnaise weight ball from the gravy was swimming in the water instead of gravy lihan leg burnt and the fries barely gave off any light

The chip shop itself was small and with a large group there were few seats. We had picked up. Called in advance and it was ready on time. The fries and snacks were tasty and well prepared by the young staff. A compliment. There were also vegetarian and gluten-free options for people with food allergies.

Always drama with parking. Food was mediocre. It's better to drive a little further, there is a chip shop where you can park more easily. It is usually a bit busier there so you have to wait longer, but it is better to wait longer for good food than this mediocre food

We ordered online and when we got home with the order, the snacks for 1 person were missing. Reaching out at that time means that 1 person cannot join the meal. And that's so worthless. Of course, everyone can make mistakes, but it is extremely frustrating!

Too bad the wait is so long!! Telephone orders take precedence, so I had to wait more than 25 minutes while I didn't have anyone to take orders for me in the shop itself!!! That's a shame, I didn't have much time. Better order by phone next time 🫤

Ordered fries 20 minutes before closing (on Saturday), I was told that the fries were gone and new ones could not be opened for 1 fries, because then the rest would become stale. Afterwards someone else came with the message that there were no more fries and that another delivery would not arrive until tomorrow (while no catering wholesaler delivers on Sundays). Both cases are annoying, but especially the fact that a lie is being told. Then stick to your economic position. In the end there was some fries left from a takeout order and it turned out fine. However, I had to point this out to the container myself and ask if there was still enough left. They did not think about this. Fries are always good!! Update: I accidentally posted it at the wrong location, so I moved it. At Den Hout it was removed by me. Yet this was actually told to me, so first the story by one employee that no new bag was opened, then the other employee that it was gone and new fries only arrived the next morning. Perhaps more standing shoulder to shoulder with your staff ;-)

Delicious fries. Fresh snacks. Quickly helped despite being busy. Ordered again on 10/9. Orders ready exactly at agreed time despite the crowds. Stew great. The downside was the home-made nasibal, which was fried much too hard. Shame.

Not a good experience with a larger delivery. Ordered by telephone and provided a pick-up time. And called a second time to check the order. When picked up, the products were cold because they were ready an hour earlier than the agreed time. So, according to the employee, we could choose between reheating the cold products (yuck) or baking new ones, but then paying double. We really don't think this is acceptable that we have to pay twice while it is their fault. Because it was a large order, it also involved a large amount. During the re-baking several things went wrong again, so we still largely did not receive what was ordered. We called the director about this and she took care of her staff instead of her customer, without asking her staff where things went wrong. We are deeply disappointed in her response, which was anything but customer-friendly but very blunt and selfish. This affects us enormously and therefore this review. She did promise to do better in the future, I hope she keeps that promise because you can't treat customers like that

The fries and snacks are very tasty. I think they are still baked in ox white, which gives it a nice taste, it tastes a bit like the past. I think the service is a little less, the employees look disinterested with a phone and a can of coke in their hand.

Been for the first time since leaving Cafetaria het Oosten. Ordered for 23 euros and did not receive the value. The fries were fried way too hard, the hogweed was black and the onion completely burnt. Stew was very sweet. Pity!!

Not a 5, if they didn't forget to give me the frikandel special, we would have given it a 5, but it was very tasty, so tasty that the forgotten snack wasn't so bad

Really good fries and friendly staff both in the cafeteria and in the cart and the homemade nasi bal is highly recommended, so tasty!! And more and more people are going here, so that says enough and of course something will go wrong sometimes, like in every cafeteria, but I have not experienced it yet.

Badly cooked fries. If you ask for something not too hard, it will be one big cracking concert in your mouth. The last time they put so much salt on it that it was no longer edible. And expensive too. No more going there for us. Shame.

I always came to the various chip carts of T Houts Frituurtje, which is why I am very happy with a permanent cafeteria in Oosterhout. For example, I no longer have to go to Oosteind or Den Hout for my favorite fries. I can recommend the fries with stew to everyone, once you have eaten these you will never go to another cafeteria again!
