Picked up fries and such. Ordered quickly, ready quickly. And delicious! Good!

Simply the best snack bar in Venlo, delicious fries, tasty schnitzel, or Dutch specialties like frikandels or kipcorn. The price-to-size ratio is also excellent! My wife and I usually share a portion of fries and then each order a few bitterballen or a meat croquette.

The black chicken was next to the container in a paper bag, just like the pickled meat. It was cold and didn't look appetizing. It looked like the fries and sauce had been thrown in. I don't think that was the intention, but everything costs a fortune these days. My viandel was rock hard and overcooked. I tried calling, but they didn't answer, which is a shame. Update: I was contacted, and everything was resolved properly and more! They take you seriously and don't just apologize, they actually do something about it. That deserves respect. Thank you for the excellent solution. See you soon!

Great cafeteria in our neighborhood!

We have been coming here every week for over 15 years. The service is great. Ordering online is easy and it is usually ready on time. Unfortunately, we notice that there is sometimes a difference in the quality of the fries. These are then fried too hard and it looks like old frying fat. The funny thing is that this is not always the case. We also had a fries special last week and there was hardly any sauce on it, while the week before the frikandel special had far too many onions and sauce. Too bad because this has been better in the past. Nevertheless, we continue to come and enjoy the fries snacks.

Above all, excellent food, exceptionally friendly staff, and excellent value. Compliments to Tom, keep up the good work.

Very nice ambience, delicious food, would love to come back

I'm amazed at how well this snack bar is doing. The food was delicious. The hamburger was perfect, as was the black chicken in sauce. I'll be eating this black chicken from now on; I've never had it this good before!

Fries as hard as concrete, refried at least 3 to 4 times, a mountain of satay and mayo on top, you can't say U against that. In addition, a snack upside down in the container with 700 liters of mayo on top, the snack almost floated out of the store. How this store has deteriorated since Peter left, very unfortunate! Immediately got food here for the last time

Fries are soggy and hollow inside also the fries are lukewarm. Too much sauce poured over the fries. Last time I went there. Since the takeover the business has gone downhill a lot.

Nice Restaurant with delicius dishes. I can only recomend this.

The decline in quality is disappointing

Tasty fries and lots of choice in snacks. This was a review from 2013. I don't like the factory fries here anymore. Often floury. A while ago they also had artisan fries, but that was short-lived. Those tasted good. The snacks are tasty.

Worthless, sitting around scratching their hair with their hands, dirty. Hair not tied together. Expensive and long wait. Don't like the snacks. Shame

Been coming here for years. Recently taken over, brown fries and a mega soggy, limp croquette. Faded glory.

I had, among other things, fries with mushroom sauce, fries, cold, with a few teaspoons of sauce and half an old mushroom cut into 3 pieces.... so rubbish bin unfortunately for 4.80 euros. Knaked sausage for 2.80 euros but given to dog, he normally likes it, but now he looked at me and said he would eat it himself... so ditto rubbish bin... don't say anything quickly.... but it was a shame! Fries war from stepdaughter sent to Russia, can wage war there🤮 Never again

Fries were really cold and my daughter had to throw up from her chicken nugets and frikandels and her sauce was open everything was gone and my corn rod was not a rod it was just cut into pieces and that was a whole day's work. (Never eat at a snake bar again the 2nd time)

Apparently taken over just like Gashoes. Fries fried brown. Old fat, we think. Very disappointed. Snacks were reasonable but probably also fried in old fat. The last time we order fries houses in Venlo. Back to decent and fresh frying at home!

Got fries yesterday, unfortunately the fries were limp and not well done. Pity. This is what you would expect from a cafeteria that has a good reputation.

We ate very well here and were served very friendly. When we are back in Venlo, we will definitely stop by here again. Better than in the city.

Best cafeteria in Venlo and you will see that from the crowds. If you don't have the patience to wait a while on busy days in the evening, you should just make fries at home. It's definitely worth it. It is convenient that you can also order your order online and then pick it up at an agreed time.

Good tent food is available in rush hour with at least 10 people on the table!

Very nice thing It's just a pity that the order is not always correct and that everything is just thrown in a bag or box. If you order fries with a sauce on them, a bag of fries will be thrown on top. I personally don't find good services. I've experienced this a few times now. SHAME

Beautiful, spacious chip shop. Large range, lots of choice, including non-fast food. Despite the carnival crowds, we still had a good meal. Unlike other people in the business. They complained about hard fries to which the owner responded very bluntly and, above all, incorrectly. The customer is always right, never claim that the customer is lying. Then try to keep order and don't make a scene. Staff could be friendlier and more helpful. Otherwise 5/5

Have been to the Van Lier cafeteria twice now. In November during the renovation, it was a little louder, but the quality was simply great. Fries and Frikandel at it’s best. Now we were back again. The renovation is finished and the snack bar is modern and comfortably furnished. The quality did not suffer during the renovation. Simply an extremely good Dutch snack. Absolute recommendation!!!
