We've eaten there many times. But today the blonde waitress was really unfriendly. What a shame. Other guests noticed it, too.

We were sitting on the terrace, between the smells of urine. It would be nice if that terrace could be cleaned/scrubbed with cleaning agent before it was built

Sorry, but the fries were inedible and we threw them in the waste bin. Fried way too hard. Ordered a small fries but you get a large one. Do you think you would like to eat some fries, such a shame.

Our favorite friture for 30 years (celebrating its 40th anniversary today, April 3rd, 2025). Very nice staff (even under stress) and great snacks. If you like asparagus, you should try an asparagus croquette when in season. If it's full, and that happens often, it can take a while. Why did I give everything 5 stars? I don't compare a snack bar with a restaurant. If I were to do this, I would of course have to rate it differently, but in the snack section it is for me the tastiest in Holland and hence the rating.

This snack bar is located in the middle of Arcen. We were here around lunchtime on a Thursday afternoon. It was pleasantly busy with many locals who came here to eat. Nice decor, friendly staff, attractively priced and, among other things, we enjoyed the largest fries ever with lots of sauce. Definitely recommended!

Middenin Arcen ligt deze snackbar. Wij waren hier rond lunchtijd op een donderdagmiddag. Het was er gezellig druk met veel locals die hier even kwamen eten. Leuke inrichting, vriendelijke personeel, aantrekkelijk geprijsd en onder andere genoten van een grootste friet ooit met heel veel saus. Zeker een aanrader!

Delicious goulash and delicious half egg balls with curry ragout and good fries

Classic french fries shop, I've been coming by regularly for several years for a fries/frikandel (meat roll). I always feel warmly welcome. There have never been any language barriers. “zeg het mar?” 🤠 You order the fries etc. at the counter and the food is then conveniently brought to the table. You can take drinks out of the fridge yourself. The food was always perfect and the price was right. I tend to prefer thicker fries, so a deduction - it's just a matter of taste. I'm always happy to come by.

Fries with pickled meat and fries with goulash: very tasty! Sour meat on the sweet side, but very hot and a generous portion! Goulash very tasty! It was busy, and that's a good sign! Highly recommended!

As residents of Arcen, we come here regularly. Staff are always friendly. Food is fine. Today 12 o'clock and a healthy sandwich. Top. Nice location and terrace!

We accidentally ordered from this chip shop instead of the one in the village where we are on holiday. The employees came to our aid and ensured that we still had hot fries! On top of that, they were very tasty too! Definitely recommended!

A small, typical Dutch restaurant where you can find everything a fries lover could dream of. The service is extremely friendly. After ordering, the food is brought to your seat. And it tasted fantastic. We'll be back!!

As a German guest, I was warmly welcomed. My order was well understood. After a short wait, we received the food we ordered and was of very good quality. Frikandel special was very good in taste and consistency. Pommern special was well seasoned and a sufficient portion. The meat croket was a bit dry. Overall, I can recommend this restaurant with a good heart.

Here you get the best portion if you order small fries. They also have a 1/2 mtr fricandel🫣. A good cafeteria 👍

What a cozy cafeteria this is. A delicious plate of fries with a hamburger and half a chicken, but on a super nice terrace in a really nice, quiet place opposite a picturesque church, near the center of Arcen!

Pure rip off!!! Mayo was charged 3 times because it should be next to the meat roll instead of on the fries and so the same amount was charged 3 times

very nice, clean and tidy restaurant in the middle of Arcen. Definitely a must for fans of Dutch cuisine! In addition to the friendly staff, everything is very lovingly furnished and invites you to eat on site. There are also seats outside. Drinks are available from the refrigerator via self-service.

Ordered food here yesterday, the cafeteria looks neat and tidy. Once we arrived at our park, the cheese souffle and the snack were overcooked or the frying fat was old, I don't know, but it really didn't taste good, see photos.
