Last Thursday, together with a friend, I had a truly delicious meal at this very atmospheric and cozy cafeteria. We had a plate of kibbeling and a plate of vegetarian burgers. Honestly, I have eaten many veggie burgers... but this is simply the very best and tastiest veggie burger I have ever had. Unbelievably good!! The kibbeling was also really super tasty. The atmosphere is great and the staff very friendly. It is clean, the decor is amazing, and I recommend everyone in the Arcen area visit this cafeteria and enjoy a delicious meal. Quick service and delicious food. The fries are great, and the satay sauce is also fantastic. Afterwards, we enjoyed a delicious soft serve ice cream. The renovated shop looks beautiful and well-maintained inside. And as a bonus, a handsome young man frying 😉

Classic Dutch frituur! You can't go wrong with that! They also have vegetarian frikandel! A little something special, not available everywhere!

We got takeout twice during our first vacation at Resort Arcen. My dad and girlfriend had the nasi and bami platter, and I had the fries and spicy chicken piri, and it was amazing. The second time, I had the chicken piri piri again; it's highly recommended. It's a lovely place and the staff are friendly. 😀

For my family and me, this is the best chip shop in the area. We're happy to drive 20 kilometers to eat here. Great service and everything tastes delicious 😋👍

Fantastic, incredibly busy when we arrived. After just one minute, we were helped by a friendly young man. Within 10 minutes, we had our ordered dishes (see photos). It was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Thank you, and highly recommended!

We ate there on a Monday and everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. Plus, it was very reasonably priced.

Delicious burgers, and the staff is happy to make changes. Their motto is, you should eat what you like. This is such a fantastic setting.

At Cafetaria 't Centrum in Arcen, it almost feels like a battle to get a table. Because of the high Google rating (4.7 average), my girlfriend and I had quite high expectations, but unfortunately, our visit was disappointing. What I personally found disappointing: there's no table service. Given the crowds, I understand that, but at the same time, you see the staff running incredibly fast while an older man (looks like the owner) casually chats with guests for 15 minutes during rush hour. That feels disrespectful to his team, who are actually trying to manage the crowd. Ordering was also chaotic. I had to wait 10 minutes, and during that time, several German guests tried to push forward. Fortunately, the staff intervened effectively. At the counter, the employee was stressed (understandably, given the crowds), but friendly. The food was eventually brought, and we had to get our own drinks from the refrigerator. Food-wise: • My girlfriend's frikandel was overcooked and rock hard. My Mexicano was the complete opposite: still partly cold and could have been baked longer. The fries were okay, but very bland without salt. The homemade satay sauce was a highlight; it was truly excellent. All in all, we found it disappointing. There are undoubtedly better snack bars in the area. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this as a place where you have to fight for a table.

Sorry, but the fries were inedible and we threw them in the waste bin. Fried way too hard. Ordered a small fries but you get a large one. Do you think you would like to eat some fries, such a shame.

Our favorite friture for 30 years (celebrating its 40th anniversary today, April 3rd, 2025). Very nice staff (even under stress) and great snacks. If you like asparagus, you should try an asparagus croquette when in season. If it's full, and that happens often, it can take a while. Why did I give everything 5 stars? I don't compare a snack bar with a restaurant. If I were to do this, I would of course have to rate it differently, but in the snack section it is for me the tastiest in Holland and hence the rating.

This snack bar is located in the middle of Arcen. We were here around lunchtime on a Thursday afternoon. It was pleasantly busy with many locals who came here to eat. Nice decor, friendly staff, attractively priced and, among other things, we enjoyed the largest fries ever with lots of sauce. Definitely recommended!

Middenin Arcen ligt deze snackbar. Wij waren hier rond lunchtijd op een donderdagmiddag. Het was er gezellig druk met veel locals die hier even kwamen eten. Leuke inrichting, vriendelijke personeel, aantrekkelijk geprijsd en onder andere genoten van een grootste friet ooit met heel veel saus. Zeker een aanrader!

Delicious goulash and delicious half egg balls with curry ragout and good fries

Classic french fries shop, I've been coming by regularly for several years for a fries/frikandel (meat roll). I always feel warmly welcome. There have never been any language barriers. “zeg het mar?” 🤠 You order the fries etc. at the counter and the food is then conveniently brought to the table. You can take drinks out of the fridge yourself. The food was always perfect and the price was right. I tend to prefer thicker fries, so a deduction - it's just a matter of taste. I'm always happy to come by.

We accidentally ordered from this chip shop instead of the one in the village where we are on holiday. The employees came to our aid and ensured that we still had hot fries! On top of that, they were very tasty too! Definitely recommended!

A small, typical Dutch restaurant where you can find everything a fries lover could dream of. The service is extremely friendly. After ordering, the food is brought to your seat. And it tasted fantastic. We'll be back!!
