Friture De Boemerang is truly the best snack bar in the region. The staff is incredibly friendly, and you won't find more customer service than Jack (always present in the shop) anywhere! Always a great atmosphere and the best fries! Jack always overcooks my fries (at my request). I don't even have to ask him; the moment I call and start with "Jo Jack, Boris over here!" Jack already knows exactly how I like my fries and snacks! Jack's slogan is: "For the best fries and snacks, go to Jack." Ladies and gentlemen, I can tell you that Jack wasn't lying.

Unexpectedly a top place! Fries are good and Jack likes to think along with you. Homemade croquettes are delicious, just like the fried egg. Creamy as it should be. He recognizes you after one time and the times after that he makes nice chats. Between 5 and 6 it can be good that you are waiting in line outside. A place where the whole neighborhood comes and recognizes each other. So important in Genooi!

We were at the Leurs plant market and spontaneously wanted to eat something afterwards. Since it was of course far too crowded at the plant market on a Sunday and our nerves were already frayed, we looked for an alternative nearby. The first impression was rather "well" because stores that offer almost everything usually can't do everything properly 🙈 BUT I was pleasantly surprised. Parking spaces right in front of the door, nice service and for 2x normal fries special + 2x frikandel special 12.40 euros I think it's okay. And most importantly: it was really tasty 😊

Enjoyed a delicious meal at this small neighborhood restaurant. Sour meat and home-made beef croquette are highly recommended. If you are near Venlo, grab a croquette. Not really a fancy affair, but simple. I was allowed to use the toilet after a long drive.
