Tasty fish and fries for a good price

Unhygienic impression at first glance. Nice employee, but I got the feeling that he did not prioritize the hygiene of the business. Flying in the business. And the herring didn't smell good so it wasn't eaten. Unfortunately no next time.

Rude, just hangs up on the phone multiple times even speaking in English or Dutch.

After a long time back in my old neighborhood and I was craving fish, yes Cala Iris I thought that was great.... well what a disappointment that was; I asked, do you have a salad with it? He said "yes" because I was used to it......beautifully served with peppers, tomatoes, etc. for €40 you want it presented. What a travesty, way too greasy and no salad...a few pieces of cabbage or whatever it was but no salad.......gross shrimp that were old and spongy (also noticed the next day).....no it really wasn't what I was used to...... guess what? Another owner, that was also the last time. You should be ashamed of lying to a customer. NEVER AGAIN CALA IRIS

Yesterday I got sadine fillets, filleted and stuffed, which later arrived at home. Very tasty. The man was very nice. Highly recommended

Wonderful place to get tasty fresh fish for a very reasonable price. A bowl of hot fish snacks (various things that you can put together yourself) for a very fair price. Great tent!

Fresh seafood and reasonable price! Just a tram ride from the city centre and a few minutes walk. The owner is nice. 1 kilo of your choice was 25euros which is definitely good price. Dining area is small but clean, not busy when we went there for lunch on a weekday. Worth a try if you're into seafood.

Heerlijk verse vis. We hebben weer genoten vd calamares, gambas en verse kabeljauw.

Heerlijke vis, en enorme porties. Vooral de gefrituurde anjovisjes en sardientjes die vooraf even licht door het beslag gaan. Ik zou alleen ook graag wat zaken als een salade, patat, rijst of brood er bij kunnen bestellen.

The mixed fish dish was more than enoguh for two people at a fair price. I can't say that the quality of food was of a Michelin star level but definitely in the google 4 star range given the price. The downsides were its location on a remote neighborhood in Amsterdam and the unpleasant odor inside the restaurant. Also, there is no fixed menu. You could try to negotiate on a price.

Verborgen parel in Bos en Lommer. Geef je budget door en laat de heren achter de vitrine een selectie maken van heerlijke verse vis. Dit is een perfecte plek voor kwaliteit maar verwacht geen luxe. Papieren placemets met daarop een grote schaal. Deels gefrituurd deels van de gril en uiteraard alles gewoon met de handen eten. Prijs is zeer schappelijk voor Amsterdamse begrippen.
