I strongly advise against this place, apart from the service, the young lady was very kind, I ordered a fish soup, and a grilled mix of fish, the soup and the squid were over cooked as hard as stone, the grilled meat was boiled for 40 euros 2 old prawns with black heads, dry salmon, over cooked tuna... I strongly advise against this place for eating good fish.

If I could I would give 0 stars, the food was not even that good, we did not even finished it, the service was so poor the lady who work there had so much attitude, keep rolling her eyes and very poor communication. Save your money and go somewhere else

Having had oysters in the US for years, these were by far the BEST I've ever had. Got 6 from the Netherlands and 6 Irish. The Netherlands were the best! Large and very fresh. Went on a Tuesday night, so wasn't anyone else in the restaurant. Service was fantastic and the restaurant was very clean and contemporary. Will go again before I head home!

From the outside, the seafood bistro is rather inconspicuous and looks more like fast food. The interior is also rather simply furnished. However, what is totally convincing are the following points: - all fresh goods - all dishes are freshly prepared - the price is absolutely okay for Amsterdam - and most importantly: it tastes really good. Therefore a clear recommendation for eating fish and mussel dishes as well as oysters 🦪 .

1 big start!!! I would put -1 if it would be possible. 1) We were served by a very unpleasant middle-aged waitress. She was constantly with a twisted face. All her gestures said that- why we came here..? and she did everything with a favor. It felt like she was forced to work there for severe torture, a very unpleasant lady made i feel unwelcome and uncomfortable, who absolutely does not understand how to work in HoReCa. 2) I ordered myself a grilled dorado, which arrived half raw inside, fish wad pink (unfortunately i made no photo, was in shock), when I called a waitress and said that my fish is pink because it is raw the woman made that unpleasant tone on her face like I would be a picky client and took it in silence. My fish was baked in the oven again and returned back, but no any apology to my side, was no offered a discount or any compliment from the restaurant. All night i wasn't sleeping, i was with severe pain in the stomach vomiting and diarrhea, and I'm not drinking alcohol person and take no any other substances! I eat healthy person! I would not recommend this place even for free to anyone!

Grilled dorade fish was fantastic. Service was very quick. I thought the prices were a touch expensive. The fish was worth it but didn’t come with sides and the sides I ordered were just average.

Decided to stop in for dinner on my last night in Amsterdam as I was craving seafood after the canal tours… Great decision! Attentive staff, comfortable ambiance, and delicious food with healthy portions. So much so that I was only able to get the mixed appetizer & some dessert and wasn’t able to get in the sea bass like I planned, feel like I missed out. Would definitely recommend.

A fish restaurant that stands out for the quality of its food! We ordered the mixed fry, truly extraordinary, and the non-alcoholic cocktails, so stratospheric that I immediately ordered another one. The oysters were very fresh and delicious. However, the place is a bit small, and the chairs tend to collide between neighboring tables. Another slightly unpleasant detail: the guy at the checkout kept staring at us, which made the atmosphere a little less relaxing. Overall, a good place for food, but with some aspects to improve.

Everything is super tasty! They ate fish soup. A large portion of seafood is plentiful, but the starter was also silent. Everything is also delicious, the fish is juicy, the shrimp and the squid are 4+. The service is extremely pleasant, the polite waitress offered us to sit at a large table because we had a few things. I am very satisfied with everything.

Very warm welcome, restaurant in the middle of the neighborhood, fish and mussels menu. Budget a little expensive but the quality and quantity are there. It was excellent, one of the best fish and chips in Amsterdam, the fisherman’s soup is great too!

Great spot and at a central location. They have great seafood as always and good service. The only downside is that their toilets are downstairs and not always that clean. You should always get their mixed grill and the ceviche is really good. The happy hour oyster is nice, 1.5€ per piece.

There is no cozy atmosphere in this noisy alley not far from fast food, red lights and coffee shops. The quality of the pasta dishes with fish was okay, but the price was a bit too high. The waitresses do their job, but nothing more.

The family came to have a delicious meal and relax. The waitress greeted us with a face like we owed her a million dollars and weren’t paying her back, and threw the menu on the table. We ordered food, beer and one cocktail. While the food and beer were edible, the cocktail just sucked! The waitress doesn’t even understand that cocktails should not be poured from a bottle, but prepared by mixing different ingredients. And when they told her that it was impossible to drink, she brought some kind of bottle and said that this was their cocktail. The money is thrown away, the mood is ruined. And the owner needs to think about who he hires!

Very rude service. The waitress approached us without even saying 'Hi' and just threw the menu on the table. I ordered a cocktail, but instead of a properly mixed cocktail, I received a drink that was just sugar mixed with water and red coloring, even though they had the recipe for the cocktail on the menu. Naturally, everyone would expect a properly mixed cocktail. The lady started to argue and was, in general, very rude

I went back twice in two days during my weekend in Amsterdam, what can I say, good! Excellent place if you want to eat fresh fish, nice and quiet place in the lively streets of Amsterdam. I especially enjoyed the Mussels dish, very good, I recommend it! It also makes great cocktails! I will come back again!

Delicious fish soup, large portion and lots of fish. Delicious in taste. A delicious seafood pasta, one of the best in years, my partner said. The kibbeling was well cooked, good quality fish, large portion and well seasoned. The Mojito tasted good. The herb butter was homemade and tasty. In short, highly recommended on all fronts. I can highly recommend this address
