The food was delicious. I ordered the tuna steak and the fried fish, but I was so hungry that I forgot to take photos. The fish was incredibly fresh and tasted amazing.

I had the Belgian mussels that is made with beer. The sauce was bland and many of the mussels were sandy. The waiters were nice but not enough to make up for the disappointing food.

If you’re studying food & bev or hospitality management, come and review this restaurant!!! This is how you do it? Fresh seafood in the counter that you see the chef select and prepare. The oysters are shucked there in front of you - it barely gets fresher. There is ONE chef preparing food for maybe 200 passes in a session. Unhurried. Efficient. There’s a limited number of flavor combinations between the entrees and the mains. But it’s all fresh and prepared to order. The plates are cleared by the wait staff - there’s only 2 - and loaded at the return pass - chef loads them in the dish washer right there and unloads them right adjacent to where he’ll use them. I was there during the changeover of the chefs - both male (so use of “he”). Wait staff clear the glasses to the glass washer adjacent to where the clean glasses will be stored and used. Everything is loaded from one side and taken from the other side - stock is turned over naturally. The chef and wait staff managed about 30 covers in my 1.5 hrs here. My espresso martini was premix but good. The wine? Hmmm - pass. My limoncello spritz was made to order and acceptable. Great value for a seafood restaurant serving quality FRESH seafood in an unpretentious environment. Highly recommend. Especially if you want to understand how to make money in hospo / good-n-bev

Kibbeling ( battered fried white fish) local staple, was delicious and plenty serving for one, reasonable 8 Euros plus a beer. Great little place, food safe and friendly staff. Order the Kibbeling no extras is enough.

What a fantastic experience in the Warmoesstraat. The food was truly delicious and everything was beautifully served at the table. The fried snacks in the basket with the little flags inside were a particularly nice detail. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant and warm. We thoroughly enjoyed the mussels and the fresh fish. It is highly recommended for anyone who loves good food in a cozy setting.

We enjoyed Seafood Bistro in Amsterdam so much that we came back a second time during our tripand that's probably the best compliment we can give. The food is made fresh, and if you can, grab a table near the kitchen where you can watch everything being prepared. It really adds to the experience. I also had the opportunity to try three oysters from different regions, and each one was fresh and delicious with its own unique flavor. The fish and chips were outstanding. The cod was a large, thick piece, perfectly cooked, and easily one of the best meals we had while visiting Amsterdam. The restaurant itself was very clean, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout both visits. My only criticism would be the tomato soup. It wasn't bad by any means, but it was fairly plain as served. I ended up adding salt, pepper, and hot sauce to give it a little more flavor. With just a bit more seasoning, it could be just as memorable as the rest of the menu. Overall, Seafood Bistro was one of our favorite restaurants in Amsterdam. Fresh seafood, generous portions, a clean atmosphere, and great service made it an easy choice to visit twice. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for quality seafood while in the city.

We ordered fish soup twice and fish and chips for the kids. The soup was very fresh and filling. The breaded fish was also very good. The service was super friendly.

We had the salmon steak, salmon pasta in a creamy sauce, and the shrimp — everything was absolutely delicious! The shrimp were incredibly tasty, and the tartar sauce was simply amazing. The salmon steak was cooked to perfection, so tender it literally melted in the mouth. It was served with two sauces; one of them was quite spicy but had a unique and delicious flavor. The creamy salmon pasta was rich, very delicate, and incredibly satisfying. You can really tell that the ingredients are fresh and the dishes are prepared with care. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. We will definitely come back. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves seafood!

I stopped eating oysters after getting upset stomachs a few times in Korea. However, while traveling in Europe, I wanted to give oysters a try, so I searched for this restaurant and found it. The raw oysters here were incredibly sweet, and I could really taste the fresh flavor of the sea. Since it had been a long time since I last tried them, I only ate three, but they completely washed away my long-held prejudice against oysters. The server and chef were also incredibly kind, constantly asking how the food was. Since this is one of the top tourist destinations in Europe, I didn't have high expectations for the food or service, but everything was truly wonderful. If you want to eat fresh seafood while visiting Amsterdam, this is definitely the place to go. I highly recommend it!

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. After eating here, I got severe food poisoning and vomited four times afterward. It completely ruined my day. The calamari was also very disappointing, it was frozen and has no flavor. What concerned me even more was seeing fish being kept outside instead of being stored properly, which made me question the restaurant's food safety practices. Overall, between the poor food quality, concerns about food handling, and the unpleasant service, I would not recommend dining here

Solid, small place. My started (mixed grill) was all in tempura - wasn’t expecting this but it was well prepared - fresh and crispy. Fish soup was 5* - recommended. The Mussels were unfortunately too peppery. Still, very good place, but reserving 5* for others, that did even better.

The vibe is cozy and it feels really open even though it's a small space. The food was flavourful and the sauce that they cook in with the "Small pot of Mussels" appetizer is truly immaculate. Furthermore it isn't too costly at all, if you know how to eat at a restaurant like a pro or if you are a solo diner like I was, then this place will not hurt the bank. If it does it means you must agree it was worth it.

I had a bad experience – mussels with a huge amount of pepper. It was very loud, crowded, the staff didn't seem to care about us, and the atmosphere was average.

I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant. First, I ordered salmon with rice. But I was served fries instead, so I told the waitress I wanted rice. She took the fries back, but the rice never arrived because the chef hadn't prepared it. I had already finished my salmon before I received anything, so I decided to cancel the rice order rather than wait another 20 minutes after we had finished eating. Second, the salmon I was served wasn't cooked properly and therefore wasn't good. A really bad experience; I don't recommend it.

Not authentic Italian pasta but Fresh and good. Wouldn’t recommend cocktails. Cosmo was the worst I’ve ever had. Not a legit cosmopolitan. Served with ice and no hint of citrus. I’m sure wine would be good.

Food served in quite generous portion, nice presentation, yet flavor is not 100% delicious, also not that bad. The waiter staff were very friendly. Only the starter with breads should be served in advance while waiting for main dishes to be served. We waited a bit long till they put everything on table at the same time.

Definitely internet hype. I ordered a mixed fried platter; the calamari was tough and tasteless, like rubber, I can make much better at home. The shrimp was like straw. Only the fish wasn't bad. I also ordered grilled shrimp hoping for some flavor, but that was like straw too. It wasn't even grilled, it was cooked in sauce on a plate. The shrimp were definitely frozen; even fresh shrimp would have minimal flavor if you just dipped them in boiling water. The sauces and mayonnaise were good though.

The food was absolutely delicious😋 My favorite was the fried cod appetizer!! perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside, it was incredibly tasty!!! The grilled sea bream was cooked just right with a delicate texture, and the tomato seafood pasta was rich and flavorful, so good that I couldn’t resist soaking up every bit of the sauce with bread. The tuna was perfectly seared, pink inside. The mussel stew featured mussels with plenty of onions, lime, and cinnamon leaves for a sweet and original flavor. The fish soup was actually a wonderful seafood tomato soup with fish, shrimp, and mussels. This was the best meal of my Iceland + AMS trip (Spanish style).

The excellent service rounded everything off perfectly – the chef was very friendly, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. We are absolutely thrilled and will definitely be back.
