Have heard good reports about Gion Borno before. For us the first time to dine here. A friendly welcome by a very relaxed brigade. They take the time for you and also give you all the time. In advance a beautiful plank with a variation of the anti pasta as a main course a delicious plate of penne with large shrimps, you sit kik and bun more than enough portions. A delicious glass after and as an extra a glass of limoncello from the house. How hospitable A recommendation and we will definitely come back.

Delicious food, we had the Antipasti Misto as a starter which was very tasty and as a main course a Carbonara and Vegetable Pizza. Will definitely come back here.

Delicious food and a nice after-dinner drink

I ate here once and it was really tasty, they have good pizzas and nice service and the ordering is always on time (I live nearby).

The tuna steak was very bad. Not fried but kind of boiled, gray in color inside, cold and watery, had no taste. Probably taken out of the freezer just before baking. The service responded very laconically. Passed on to the kitchen and upon payment the espresso was on the house. Too bad, I expected more.

Geweldig gegeten. Tournedos met risotto en Spagetti carbonara waren allebei GE-WEL-DIG. Ook de desserts waren uitmuntend. Een echte aanrader om dit verscholen restaurantje te bezoeken. Goede bediening en service.

Today we took advantage of the special 3-course menu. Combined with a delicious pino grigio. Food was delicious. Wine ditto. Very nice, atmospheric restaurant in a beautiful spot along the Vliet in Rijnsburg. Very friendly service. Highly recommended. This was our second visit. We will definitely come here again!

You should order pizza without oil, at least for my taste. No draft beer. But cozy and tasteful and great service.

Was here for dinner alone during a business trip. The service was very friendly and quick, the pizza was thin and crispy, the atmosphere was pleasant and not aloof.

What a very nice, atmospheric restaurant. We enjoyed the delicious pizzas yesterday, great service (waitress, bartender, she did a great job, our compliments!) We will definitely come back again.

You should not miss this restaurant! Delicious food! Amazingly good restaurant. Good because of the right combination of good service and delicious food. Opted for the daily menu with adjustment (tuna steak). Carpaccio as a starter and scroppino dessert. Enjoyed every course. Including limoncello and coffee! Afterwards it turned out that Tuna Steak was not an adjustment to the daily menu plus 10 euros, but all dishes were charged separately. I should have indicated that in advance. A bit of a strange aftertaste, while the food is more than worth it.

We wilden graag bij een goed Italiaans restaurant eten. Dit restaurant maakt de recensies meer dan waar! Heerlijke authentieke Italiaanse gerechten. De tournedos met truffel risotto was perfect! We hebben een geweldige avond gehad maar met name gekregen door deze mooie smaakbelevenis.

Those Pizzas from Gion Borno are absolute p0rn0, but they could use a little less oil/fat to drip from them (secretly it also makes it sneaky delicious)

Had a wonderful dinner with my wife yesterday! Highly recommended! Delicious risotto balls as a starter, also really enjoyed the buratta. Service later also gave us a limoncello on the house! Really great! And we were able to take the cannolis home with us to enjoy further at home.

Table reserved on February 14, Valentine's Day. It was my wife's birthday and she loves pizza, so it seemed like a perfect match. Apparently a special menu has been put together this evening. This was not indicated when making the (online) reservation, but it can happen. We were still given the option to order from the menu, so this was very nice. When ordering, I already indicated that the children's dish would be made at the same time, because the lady (1.5 years old) was hungry. This also went well, I ate a starter at the same time. Then had to wait 1 hour for 2 pizzas. Fortunately, our little one is quite easy, but this also ends at some point. We make a reservation for 5:30 PM on purpose, so that we can go home on time. At 7:40 PM the main course finally arrived. We were told something had gone wrong with the order. That can also happen, but the restaurant doesn't really have that many tables. It seems strange to me that no one notices that the main menu takes a very long time. Finally got our pizza. It must be said that these tasted very good. Unfortunately, we had to have some of it packed to get the little one to bed on time. I suspect a case of staff shortage. I have a history in the catering industry myself, but unfortunately the experience was really disappointing. Shame! Empty “keg” was also not taken.

Wow, that's bad. I heard good stories so I thought it would be a nice birthday/Valentine's dinner here. We went as early as possible at 5:30 PM, on purpose because we had a little one of 1.5 with us. At 7:30 PM we still had no main course. I started asking if our order was okay, because tables after us were also eating earlier. And yes, 10 minutes later she came to report that our receipt had gone wrong. Apparently it was too busy for just the two of us serving. Being told at checkout that it will be better next time... Could be pure misfortune, but they won't see me again.

Wilde een surprise feestje geven aan mijn vader voor 25 man, ze pakte dit leuk op en stelde zelfs een menu voor ons samen waarbij er de mogelijkheid was tussen vis, vlees en vegetarische gerechten. De bediening was top en heerlijk gegeten, bedankt allemaal !!

Lekkere pizza gegeten, leuk restaurant in eigenlijk een straat met zo ongeveer alleen maar woningen. Parkeren moet je geluk hebben voor een plekje.

Aardige bediening, netjes verzorgd. Heerlijke voorgerechten mix en super goede pizza’s. Heerlijke bodem, meestal laat ik die links liggen maar nu zeker niet! Ook de tiramisu was super, zeker huisgemaakt. Na de koffie nog een limoncello van het huis. Wij komen terug!

We hebben heerlijk gegeten in dit sfeervol ingerichte restaurant! Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Voor onze dochter was er ook een mooie kleurplaat. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

WAUW! Wij schrijven echt nooit reviews maar tijdens het eten al zeiden we tegen elkaar; we gaan zo onze geweldig positieve ervaring delen! Het eten was snel bezorgd, warm en wat een kwaliteit! Jullie hebben er een trouwe wekelijkse bezorg klant bij en we komen snel in jullie restaurant eten !

Vanavond bij besteld bij Gion Borno’s! Altijd heerlijke pizza’s. Helaas hadden we vanavond de gewone carpaccio aangevinkt ipv pizza carpaccio. Was een foutje van ons, de bezorger hoorde dit en kwam even later nog een pizza carpaccio brengen. Zo attent! Had niet gehoeven maar ontzettend lief.😊

Wunderbar authentisches Lokal. Endlich gibt es ein gutes Restaurant in Rijnsburg. Wir waren heute (01.10.2022) zum ersten Mal hier und haben beide Pizza 🍕 bestellt. Eine so gute Pizza bekommt man fast nur in Italien (dünner Teig, super krokant). Die Bedienung war freundlich und schnell. Das Ambiente hat uns sehr zugesagt.

We hebben hier woensdag 7-09-22 een verjaardag gevierd. Vriendelijke behulpzame bediening. Een 3 gangen keuze menu voor ieder wat wils voor een schappelijke prijs. Kortom lekker gegeten en gedronken. We komen hier zeker weten nog eens terug.

Bij de online reservering aangegeven dat we niet veel tijd hadden vanwege een reservering voor een musical om half acht. Dit gegeven werd niet meegenomen. We moesten lang wachten op ons eten. Dat was jammer, want onze pasta en risotto waren erg lekker. Er was helaas geen tijd voor een nagerecht. Het personeel vertelde ons om zes uur open te gaan terwijl op hun site half zes werd aangegeven. Vanaf die tijd kon gereserveerd worden. Ook stonden op de site twee smoothies vermeld die in het restaurant niet terug te vinden waren. Het personeel was vriendelijk en welwillend maar leek onervaren.

Een romantische straatje in Rijnsburg. Eenvoudig doch chique restaurant. Rustig tafelen met genoeg ruimte tussen de tafels. Overheerlijke proeverij als voorgerecht, voor jezelf of om te delen! Delen hmm doe maar niet! echt veel te lekker. Super heerlijke pizza's. Heerlijke wijn. En last but not least vriendelijke bediening.

Vandaag had ik de keuze tussen camping pizza of Gion Borno. Wow wat was dit goed!! Bestels magerita, salami, capreze, en een galzone. Stuk voor stuk top. Is wat duurder maar meer dan waard.

Dunne bodem, heerlijke tomatensaus.

Fijne en vrolijke bediening, iets wat ik enorm kan waarderen. Leuk interieur en fijne sfeer. Het eten was lekker, maar naar mijn mening net te weinig. Mijn tafelgenoten deelden die mening. We waren met z'n vijven, waarvan vier een pasta gerecht namen. Iedereen vond z'n gerecht lekker, maar enkel de vijfde persoon, die een pizza had genomen, was voldaan na zijn maaltijd. Wellicht dat wij uitzonderlijk grote eters waren, vergeleken met andere restaurantgasten, maar ik denk het eerlijk gezegd niet. Neemt niet weg dat we een aangename beleving hadden, maar vanwege de (naar onze mening) net te geringe omvang van de maaltijden, vier sterren in plaats van vijf. Keep up the good work! P.S. We komen uit Den Haag, dus we waren aangenaam verrast dat de prijs voor 5 personen inclusief drankjes onder de €100 viel. Dus qua prijs ook prima te doen.
