Hey, it was a really nice evening, cozy, great atmosphere and delicious food. We got a tasty dessert for free at the end.

I had dinner with my husband and children this evening; the food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was great. Then I also heard that desserts were included starting today. Definitely recommended.

The quality has clearly declined, unfortunately. I already read that there is a new owner? Too little staff; food took quite a long time to arrive (20/25 minutes on average per round) even though the restaurant was barely half full. There was also less variety on the menu than the last time I visited, which was well over half a year to a year ago. The staff bringing the food do their best, by the way; they really run to do their work. If this continues, I think Catalunia will say Adios. Update: It has improved! We had a fantastic meal this time, as it should be. Everything tasted good and the service was fast & good! The restaurant was busier than the last time; about (slightly more than) half as busy, but it certainly didn't come at the expense of the service. Perhaps negative feedback had come in over the past few months. It is clearly noticeable that quality is their number one priority again, resulting in a positive customer experience. The background music here is always great; you can actually have a normal conversation. In short: it was top-notch. Hasta la proxima! 2nd update: ate here yesterday, everything was great, except for the spareribs. It was resolved, otherwise the food tasted very good again. It is noticeable that it has become busier, which is a good sign.

We ate here for the first time. I have regularly eaten at tapas restaurants with varying degrees of success. But I have never tasted anything as bad as this. I ordered Manchego, but received cubes of cheap young Dutch cheese. The Spanish meatballs in tomato sauce were so disgusting; clearly canned meatballs or something similar, not homemade. Even my husband, who eats everything, found them inedible. Consequently, I didn't finish it. The rest was mediocre, the type of greasy fast food and many non-Spanish dishes. The service was otherwise friendly. In short, I won't be going there again.

The only downside is the somewhat dark area at the back of the restaurant. We found the dessert to be extremely positive; it was exceptionally tasty! I ate here for the first time and I am really super satisfied! The tablet system was new to me, but it was so nice that you could look at it at your leisure and place your orders. We immediately received a bowl of bread and aioli, while we could order our first dishes via the tablet. You can order two dishes per person every 15 minutes, which is perfect, because as soon as you finish, you can order new ones. The quality was excellent. The meat was very juicy and the fried dishes were very crispy. The portions were also sufficient each time. Drinks were not included in the all-inclusive menu, but that was clearly stated, and the biggest advantage: the prices were also very reasonable. The dessert was also tasty. And the service was very friendly. The only tip I could offer is that it would be nice if you could immediately indicate when ordering via the tablet that you want a small adjustment, for example, without cheese/sauce due to allergies or things you don't like. We had a delicious meal at Catalunia! The tapas are authentic and clearly homemade, full of flavor. A big plus is that orders are served table by table all at once, so everyone gets something to eat at the same time. Sometimes this does mean you have to wait a little longer, but we didn't mind. Drinks are not included, but they are reasonably priced. Furthermore, the service was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended for lovers of authentic tapas!

The service was very friendly, even though the evening caused them a lot of stress because there was an issue with the tablets—it happens—and they really did their best to resolve it as soon as possible. Furthermore, I find it a shame that people give 1 or 2 stars just because the evening goes differently for once. You want to eat in the best seats for the lowest price; you can enjoy the whole evening there, but because you have to wait a bit longer or dishes didn't arrive (so what, you just order them again), etc., because it's very busy and there was a small problem with the tablets, they immediately give a BAD score. THINK ABOUT IT: if they get 3x 5 stars and 1x 1 star, that's immediately a whole star down. It's petty; it seriously lowers their overall score, while the food and staff, etc., were fine. They really worked their socks off. And then having to deal with the reactions from dissatisfied customers on top of that. Respect to the staff, who remained very polite. We will definitely be back.

Tonight, full of anticipation, we took our seats at the table for Spanish tapas. We were received very warmly. We were given instructions regarding ordering; orders were supposed to be taken personally every fifteen minutes. What happened next is something we have never experienced before. We had to ask for water up to four times, were offered bread four times, had our order taken, and after an hour, it still hadn't arrived. The waitresses there were literally running themselves ragged and at one point didn't know what to serve where anymore. After people who had arrived much later were already enjoying their tapas and we still hadn't received anything, I approached management. Immediately, we were given a tablet to place our order, and lo and behold, things went super fast from that moment on. Why work half-heartedly by mixing booklets and tablets? The tables with the booklets all had the same problem as us. Ultimately, we enjoyed our meal, but compensation (read: a drink on the house) would have been appropriate. Respect to the ladies and gentlemen serving us, because this way of working is practically impossible. It's a shame, because the place has potential.

What a huge disappointment. This is now the second time we have gotten seriously ill after eating at Catalunia. The food was incredibly greasy, and the taste led us to strongly suspect that old frying fat or oil was used. A one-off mistake can happen, but if you get sick from a meal twice in a row, there is something structurally wrong with the hygiene or the quality of the ingredients. For me and my partner, this was absolutely the very last time. We will never eat here again. Not recommended!

Everything is incredibly fresh and tastes fantastic. Plenty of choice for everyone. The meat dishes come from the BBQ. Definitely a plus. Truly everything we ordered was very tasty. The tapas and drinks are served lightning fast and everything is nice and hot. One dessert of choice was included in the price. Also delicious. The staff is young, but incredibly motivated, very friendly, well-groomed, and attentive! We are quite critical when we go out to eat, but there is absolutely nothing to fault at this restaurant. The atmosphere is great. It's just a shame the wait is so long. 50 minutes is unbearable. It makes the atmosphere less pleasant. My child was looking forward to the spareribs. They were a bit tough. Other dishes ranged widely from good to mediocre. We've had some good meals here before. We think it's too inconsistent. There are much better tapas restaurants in Apeldoorn. Dietary requirements can only be accommodated minimally. It's a shame.

You can tell the kitchen is attentive and pours love into what's served. The beauty is that everything stays light enough, so you can easily keep ordering – simply because you can and because everything is so delicious. The service completes the experience. And then the music… The soundtrack of the evening was entirely Enrique Iglesias. The whole evening. On repeat. By the end of the evening, Enrique felt like a kind of invisible table companion, not only supporting us musically but also emotionally invested in every bite. We're pretty sure he knows which table we liked by now. It worked surprisingly well: cheerful, summery, and with a touch of humor. It's impossible to get grumpy about it. All in all, this tapas restaurant is highly recommended. Delicious food, a relaxed and warm atmosphere, top-notch service, and a musical experience you won't soon forget. The food was good. But the website misinformed me about the per-person costs during the holidays...the price per person was higher, and desserts weren't included...it's all-you-can-eat, but you have to pay for desserts separately, and I find the prices quite high. Many all-you-can-eat restaurants include at least two desserts in the price. If you raise the prices by almost €14 per person during the holidays, they should offer something extra because it's a holiday, but the food is exactly the same as on a non-holiday basis, just €14 cheaper...their website says €26.50 during the week and €28.50 on holidays, but when I paid, it suddenly dropped to €39.50...after checking their website after paying, I had to scroll down quite a bit and, via a different link (push-button menu), discovered that the price had been raised for Christmas. So it's not at the beginning of the website, and by holidays, most people also mean Christmas, I think...the restaurant hasn't changed this and is aware of it. A big kudos to the staff, they pamper their guests and are very friendly... TIP...UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE NEXT YEAR AND CLEARLY PUT THE HOLIDAY PRICE AT THE TOP...THEN PEOPLE WITH PERHAPS A LITTLE LESS TO SPEND WON'T HAVE A SURPRISE AT THE CHECKOUT. GR D

It's a generous portion, but truly delicious. There are plenty of non-alcoholic options, but the homemade sangria is highly recommended. The location is very convenient. From the restaurant, you can reach attractions like the cinema in just a few minutes.
