Still poor service, bizarre experience with the owner. The staff only want to help you if you're sitting alone at a table outside. They don't know their own limited menu, but the menu has been the same for years, although it's reasonable value for money. "I previously shared photos of this place that many visitors have seen — so I'm adding a current photo so others can get a good idea." The owner responded to my review (see photo). I thought I'd try again to see if it's improved. Unfortunately, you can only write one review, so I'm changing the current one. I had to go inside to order, but the menu is still the same. The staff now know their limited menu, but the service is still poor. The sandwich was ready quickly, though. When I had to go inside to pay, the staff made a mistake: 4 coffees instead of 3. Of course, that's no problem; everyone can make a mistake. Then the owner came to me, all riled up, asking if I was really sure I'd had three coffees. No apologies, just an aggressive owner. As the innkeeper is, he trusts his guests, as they say. Meanwhile, the owner has plenty of staff on Saturdays. Three students mainly hang around the cash register and only pick up cups and plates on the terrace. Not only me, but everyone around me had to go inside to order and pay. Conclusion after eating at Jeff's 7 times in 12 months: Poor service Only students serving without hospitality experience and a hospitality mentality Same limited menu Reasonable price/quality Unfriendly owner who can't handle feedback Good coffee I rarely give a 1-star review, but after several negative experiences and even one negative review, the owner doesn't act on feedback.
