Center Parcs Pancakes in Wijk 04 Heijen

The service was friendly, and the view of the lake was lovely. Unfortunately, the pancakes were convenience food and of questionable quality, especially considering the price of almost €20. The toppings were good. We wouldn't go back; we'd rather have a crepe... but that's a matter of taste.

The service was super friendly, there was a play area and the food was delicious.

The pancakes are way too small, especially for the price. A children's pancake is too small for a child, so you have to order two (2x party = €16.30!). Regular pancakes are also really expensive for the size; €17.50/€20 for a small pancake is simply too expensive. We paid €86 for 4 people!

There were 16 of us there. The waitress, Petra, was very nice and made an effort to serve everything promptly, despite the large number of orders. We thought it was great.

The pancakes are quite good, the service is friendly, and the ambiance is lovely, with a view of a small lake. We didn't have to wait long (which is always good with children), and the kids even got something to paint. Overall, it was good, but unfortunately very expensive. A pancake for around €15 and up is too expensive for a main meal. So, our conclusion: the kids wanted it, and it was a delicious but expensive dessert.

We had a great meal and sat there, but it wasn't the most atmospheric place. On a positive note: it's beautifully situated by the water. The pancakes were good, but nothing special. There was one young man serving who really tried his best, but because of that, it took quite a while before we could order our dessert. The chairs and benches weren't very comfortable. All in all, not a place to linger.

We had ordered a few very expensive pancakes and they took more than an hour to arrive after ordering. €13 for one pancake.

We had reserved a table and received a very warm welcome. The staff were very friendly and helpful. For dinner, we opted for the savory pancakes. We had one with bacon and cheese, and the other with mushrooms, onions, and bacon. Both were very tasty. The prices are a bit high.

Surprisingly bad, undercooked and flavourless pancakes and the poffertjes were even almost entirely cold with a glob of margarine from the tub instead of real butter. The only star is for the fact that they also have glutenfree options.

Hey, i did visit pancakes house yesterday together with my girlfriend. First I went there in the morning to check the menu because my girlfriend doesn't like the sweet pancakes so I wanted to know if they make only sweet or savoury too. When I came inside to ask one of the women's which is working there (old, grey hair, short women) was very rude. Later during the day we were back there hoping that she's no more there but unfortunately she was. Luckily we were getting served by another women which was lovely (quiet high, long dark hair) she gave us the menu, later she came to take the order and she was very nice but at the end we had to pay for our bill and this was getting sorted by the short, grey hair women and again it was the worst service we ever got. She was again rude, she definitely saw we don't talk dutch and we don't understand this language so she kept still talking dutch, she also gave us dirty looks and I do not understand why would you employ someone like this who can not work with people. I can definitely see she's there for money and that's it. She looked very angry and annoyed with the fact she has to be there and work. I hope this will get sorted and no one ever have to deal with her anymore becsuse and already saw few opinions about this women. She makes this place crazy and I'm not surprised why is it so empty there if your staff is like this. Of course when it comes to the pancakes, they were okay and tasty. The price about which everyone here is complaining is understandable but you all also need to understand that it's a holiday park so they are making money here that's the whole thing in this. 👍🏻

It's getting worse and worse: dry pancakes with the simplest toppings. Extremely boring food, and all for 15 euros. And then you have to wait 12 minutes at the checkout until someone even takes your order.

I don't understand all the bad reviews. It was incredibly delicious and the service was excellent. Yes, it's a bit more expensive, of course, but everything is expensive here.

I don't understand the negative reviews. We've been here twice now and were extremely satisfied both times. The food was delicious and the service was incredibly friendly. The ambiance is also very nice, located by the water. The prices are at the usual campsite level, so of course, they're not exactly bargains, but everyone decides for themselves whether they're willing to spend the money. Otherwise, there's always the option of self-catering in the park. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone who's craving delicious pancakes!

Tasty, nice thing but way too expensive The service was excellent, the staff recognized you from another restaurant, the view was beautiful along the water just near the Market Dome What shocked us was the price, for a plain pancake you already had to pay 9 euros and then also ask 4.60 for a coke. Sorry, but no matter how delicious it was, I won't go again purely because of the prices charged for the food and drinks

Raw pancakes! Sent them back once, only had 1 properly cooked out of 4. Choice is limited too, nothing exciting on the menu really. No atmosphere as it was dead, there was one family in when we arrived and we left the place empty. Staff were ok. Eur77 for 3 pancakes and 1 ice cream, 2 Pepsis and 2 apple juices. Should really have only paid for 1 pancake but by this time I just wanted out of the restaurant. :(. By comparison in the uk, you *have* to book because the food is good.

Very bad. Pancakes were undercooked, batter just dripped out. They also go a bit too far to offer almost everything Vega. We were very shocked by the bill. It's better to get a bottle of pancake mix from the store and bake them yourself.

Quite expensive and not even tasty. I wouldn't recommend. I prefer to make the pancakes myself

The food was delicious and the conditions were very friendly. When we asked, it was no problem to order vegan pancakes, which were prepared especially for us. The gluten-free pancakes were also great. Highly recommended, especially for people who need extra sausages 😉

The food is mediocre and the quantity is small. Price is expensive with what you get. The service was very bad. The cook did her best with cooking and serving because her colleague left the food out so it was cold. The lady serving was also not very friendly/neat. Very unfortunate. Not recommended to eat here.

We went there for lunch and were rather early when it was still quite empty. Food and service were great.

The food is mediocre, portions are small. Drinks expensive. You are immediately offered bread, which is then charged €7. Unfortunately you feel left out.

Food was super tasty, a highlight. The waitresses also spoke German and were very friendly. Everything happened quickly. Definitely try it!

The waiting time was outrageously long. We ordered the three course menu and sat there for over 2 hours as the waiting time between courses was extremely long! Added to this is the confused waiter who constantly brought the food to the wrong tables. The price is clearly too high for what is offered. The only positive thing to mention is the outdoor area with a view of the lake and the fishing. We won't be coming back!

The cook was very attentive, the rest of the service was a disaster. Everything takes forever.

Food is ok but you can make it yourself at home, service is very nice, offers are not worth it. Cola €4.10 very expensive. Paid just under €110 for 8 people. Nice view.

I ordered the apple pancake with cinnamon and a hot chocolate. The pancake was raw, it is their speciality but the middle was totally uncooked, I ate half because I was actually hungry but I couldn’t finish it. The two stars go to the bread and garlic butter they give you before the food. The hot chocolate just felt like cacao + milk heated up in a microwave. Maybe it’s the way they do it here but I’m used to a more dense (?) hot chocolate And about the view, it was closed the outside for bad weather I guess or they open it in only some seasons. I’m not quite sure

Eerlijk gezegd was de bediening snel en vriendelijk. De locatie is best leuk. Ligt aan een klein watertje. De pannenkoeken waren snel bereid en net niet helemaal of het wel gaar. Op het randje. De poffertjes leken niet vers, maar uit de koeling en opgewarmd in de magnetron. Kwa prijs zit dit restaurant aan de onderkant op deze Centerparcs en ook de kwaliteit is hier naar. Met kleine kinderen lijkt mij dit Restaurant prima te doen.

Wir hatten keine Reservierung und haben sofort einen Platz zur Mittagszeit bekommen. Die Kinder haben was zum Malen und einen Kinderspeisekarte mit Bildern bekommen. Die Pfannkuchen waren sehr lecker und wir mussten nicht lange auf unsere Bestellung warten obwohl viel los war. Die Portionen haben eine gute Größe. Preis für 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder lag bei ca. 50€.

Very good, little choice but it was so quiet and relaxing...

Nice food pancake was plenty big enough to fill you up but the opening times are strange, it’s in Centre Parcs so an all day resort but this is only open 12-4 and closed on Monday and Tuesdays for some reason.

Skønt sted med mange forskellige pandekager. Mad og dessertpandekager i top og til meget rimelige priser Vi blev virkelig mætte💪❤️

Wir hatten hier zum Essen einen Tisch reserviert. Die Reservierung hat gut funktioniert und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön gelegen, sodass alle Tische Ausblick auf den kleinen See haben. Leider waren wir von dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis mehr als enttäuscht. Dennoch hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt. Sowohl die süßen als auch die herzhaften Pfannkuchen als auch die Pfannkuchen für Kinder. Insgesamt hat uns das Buffett im Evergreenz deutlich besser gefallen.

Hier sollte man reservieren, wenn man einen Tisch haben möchte. Leider hat das Restaurant nur von 12-16 Uhr geöffnet. Wir waren zu 6 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern dort. Die Pfannkuchen sind lecker, aber circa 30 Minuten entfernt ist ein fabelhaften Pfannkuchenhaus, in dem es grandiose Pfannkuchen zu einem guten Preis gibt !

Immer wieder leckere Pfannkuchen in verschiedenen Variationen - sehr empfehlenswert. Haben draußen gesessen und die Aussicht ist sehenswert.

Waffeln mit Schlagsahne eis und Kirschen waren wirklich total lecker. Negativ die Öffnungszeiten sind ziemlich dumm dafür das man im Urlaub ist haben die zu kurze und zu wenige Tage geöffnet. Montag Dienstag und Freitags geschlossen wir sind Donnerstags angereist und Reisen am Mittwoch finde das ziemlich schlecht das Läden im Urlaub so viele schließtage haben zudem wenn dke offen haben dann nur von 12-16....

Ein schöner Urlaubsspaß, für mich nichts für jeden Tag.

Pannenkoeken waren niet bijzonder, ambiance is niet bijzonder en de prijs is schrikbarend. De service was wel goed.

Obwohl der Laden rammelvoll war und wir nichts reserviert hatten, haben wir zum Geburtstag unserer Tochter doch noch einen Platz für uns ergattern können. Die resolute Dame am Eingang hat's möglich gemacht. Die Wartezeit war zwar etwas länger, war aber auch voll, wie gesagt. Mein Pfannkuchen mit Speck und Käse war grandios und der vom Kind hat auch geschmeckt, wenn auch vergleichsweise dunkel geraten. Die Karamellsoße ist zum Reinlegen, wenngleich ein Industrieprodukt. Wer Pfannkuchen mag, ist hier richtig.

Vriendelijke bediening, kindjes lekker kleuren, pannenkoeken waren lekker en prijs niet goedkoop, maar oké. Beetje oude bende, maar je zit wel leuk aan het water.

Der Freakshake (Milchshake) ist sehr zu empfehlen. Der Pancake mit Schinken und Ananas war auch sehr lecker, ebenso der mit Speck, Zwiebeln, Champignons und Käse.

Dure pannenkoeken en niet gaar. Iets van gezegd kreeg een nieuwe , die nog minder gaar was. Wel vriendelijk voor kinderen.

Eine etwas ältere Bedienung mit kurzen grauen Haaren knallte uns die Speisekarten sehr unfreundlich auf den Tisch , da wollte man am liebsten schon wieder rausgehen . Hatten uns mehr versprochen davon . Ich hatte einen Pancake mit Ananas, Käse und gekochten Schinken . Für über 11 Euro der Pancake schlecht belegt . Eine Minitasse Milchkaffee . Überall hier im Centerpark ist es sehr teuer und das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht .

Mexican Pancakes sehr lecker, leider als Topping keine Jalapenos im Angebot.

Update Oktober 2022: Die Portionen werden immer kleiner, ein Erwachsenen Pfannkuchen hat heute die Größe eines Kinder Pannekuchens. Achtung: Wissentlich falsche Angaben in der Menü-Karte. In der Menü-Karte wird ein 3-Gänge Menü für 16.95 EUR angeboten, bestehend aus einer Vorspeise (Tomatensuppe, Hühnersuppe, Weißbrot mit Kräuterbutter) dem Hauptgericht (ein frei wählbarer "Classic" Pfannkuchen) und dem Nachtisch (frei wählbar) soweit, so gut. Bestellt man nun das 3-Gänge Menü und wählt aus der Speisekarte das Weißbrot mit Kräuterbutter bekommt man von der Desinteressierten Bedienungen gesagt:"Nein, nur Suppe, das Weißbrot mit Kräuterbutter kann man nicht wählen!). Der Bedienungen kurz die Menü-Karte gezeigt, dass es darin explizit angegeben ist, das Weißbrot mit Kräuterbutter auswählen zu können, entgegnete diese nur lapidar:"Nee, das geht nicht".....aha, steht in der Menü-Karte, aber geht nicht, nun gut. Weiter mit dem Pannekuchen....alles ok, jeder "Classic" Pfannkuchen kann problemlos ausgewählt werden. Als Nächstes den Nachtisch (Dessert)....."ich hätte gerne das sog. Freakshake choco", was in der Menü-Karte unter Dessert aufgeführt ist. Die Antwort kam prompt.... natürlich "Nee, geht nicht!" Darauf ebenfalls angesprochen:"Aber es steht doch unter Desserts und in der Menü-Karte heißt es doch, ein Dessert nach Wahl". Auch hier die Antwort der Bedienungen:"Nee, geht nicht, nur Eis, kein Shake!". Auf die Frage wo das denn in der Menü-Karte steht, es heißt doch Dessert nach Wahl!......Die Bedienungen:"das steht niergends, deswegen sage ich es ihnen ja, wollen sie jetzt einen Dessert oder nicht?" Die machen was sie wollen im Pfannkuchen Häuschen, es ist super Schade den Verlauf über die Jahre mit zubeobachten. Aber wie heißt es so schön "Der Fisch stinkt immer vom Kopf zuerst". Wie sollen die Angestellten die Richtige Attitude haben, wenn die Restaurant Managerin schon so drauf ist (siehe unten nächsten Absatz). Leider bekommen es die Angestellten nicht mehr geregelt. Um 13:00 Uhr ein Tisch reserviert, bis die Pfannkuchen auf dem Tisch standen vergingen 70 Min. Die vermeintliche Restaurant-, Managerin wurde beim vorbeilaufen von uns gefragt (nachdem die Pfannkuchen gegessen waren)....."könnten wir bitte das bestellte Dessert haben?", die Antwort lautete:" Ich bringe das Dessert, wenn ich mit meiner anderen Arbeit fertig bin". Bitte waaaas? - Solch eine Antwort habe ich noch nicht bekommen, wow!" Alles in allem, nicht mehr zu empfehlen! Urlaub 2019: Super tolles und sehr freundliches Team. Sehr geräumige Location, Möglichkeit (bei entsprechend schönem Wetter) auch draußen zu sitzen. Ansonsten ist es drinnen auch schön. Insbesondere, falls gewünscht, ein Tisch direkt an der Glasfront sozusagen mit direktem Blick aufs Wasser. Zu empfehlen: Das 3-Gänge Menü für knapp 15 EUR, bestehend aus einer Vorspeise (Suppe), einen Klassiker-Pfannkuchen nach Wahl oder einen "Chefkoch-Pannkuchen" (Aufpreis +2 EUR) und zum Abschluss ein tolles Dessert (Eis). Die Portionen dieses 3-Gänge Menüs sind absolut ausreichend. Alles in allem, sehr zu empfehlen, gerne wieder. Für alle "Deutschen"....das gesamte Team spricht super deutsch.

Die Öffnungszeiten sind leider sehr eingeschränkt, die Bedienung leicht überfordert, ansonsten die Pancaks sind lecker und eine große Auswahl

Die Pfannkuchen sind meiner Meinung nach etwas zu fettig und innen noch nicht richtig durchgebacken. Geschmacklich dennoch in Ordnung. Den anderen hat es leider nicht geschmeckt. Wartezeit ca. 10 min, Tischreservierung ist von Vorteil. Preise sind typisch Center Parc

Solide Pfannkuchen, sehr nettes Personal, vor allem Petra ist hervorzuheben. Schön gestaltete Kindergerichte. Würde ich wieder besuchen.

Essen war OK Preise sind auch in Ordnung aber die Wartezeit ist viel zu lang. Das Restaurant ist halb leer und trotzdem hat man beim 3er Menü zwischen der suppe dem Pancake und dem Nachtisch jeweils fast 50 min gewartet ist viel zu lange vor allem wenn man ein Baby dabei hat

Het pannenkoeken restaurant ligt mooi bij het water. Wij gingen er eten met 4 kinderen in de leeftijd van 21,18, en twee van 13. De pannenkoeken zijn er in de hartige variant en zoet. De hartige pannenkoeken zoals de Mexicaanse en Shoarma zijn aanraders. Van de zoete viel de stroopwafel pannenkoek in de smaak. Een mooie locatie en vriendelijke bediening.

Die Pfannkuchen sind lecker, aber wir haben vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis in Center Parcs schon besser gegessen.
