Food isn't always hot, and if you drink 100.00 worth of wine, you shouldn't have to pay 5.50 for tap water! Water goes with wine!

We sat both inside in the conservatory and once outside in the beautifully landscaped garden. The staff is well-trained and all friendly. We would love to return. The food was great! We were a group of 14 people to celebrate our father's 80th birthday. The main room is quite noisy; my father couldn't follow much of what was being said very well. Unfortunately, we didn't indicate when making the reservation that we wanted a separate room, even though they are available!

We have eaten there several times and it was really good. However, it had been a while since our last visit, but the quality of the food was really lower and cold on several occasions, it took a long time, and we weren't asked if we wanted a drink.

The food is delicious, but the prices are absurdly high compared to a few years ago when you could still eat here for 30 euros per person.

It is always good here. Normally, I skip places where Coca-Cola isn't available. I only make an exception for this one. However, I would suggest that it would be helpful if you could indicate whether you don't want all those extra things. Like that melon with ham, for example. Tasty, but without the berries. There is no white writing surface on that brown sheet of paper where you can write your additions with a pencil or pen. And with the switch to Coca-Cola, we would go more often. 😃

The wine quantity is questionably small; the bottom mark is practically a tiny drop. I asked whether the quantity was correct. The service is otherwise friendly. Nice ambiance.

We had a nice meal in a charming setting. However, it is very busy and noisy. Going out for dinner as a couple to celebrate something together is out of the question here. The restaurant layout should focus on providing a quiet spot for two people so they aren't drowned out by groups. What is seriously below par is the stinginess with which the (white) wine is poured. A disproportionate price for just a tiny amount. It turns out there is a line on the back of the glass. They do not go over that. The line on the front of the logo is not a pouring measure, as is customary at other restaurants. I mentioned this, but I might as well not have.

This evening was characterized by minor mistakes ranging from serving a non-alcoholic cocktail instead of an alcoholic one. In the 2nd round, ordered side dishes were only served 2 rounds later, after repeatedly asking. Our host for the evening, Ties, did apologize politely, but everything that happened this evening was too much. We also got the impression there was very little staff!

For my retirement party for 12 people, we were seated in a beautiful private room with a dedicated staff member who checked very regularly to ensure everything was okay. We had a 3.5-hour package including drinks, and when it ran a little over, no problem was made of it. The food was fantastic and was served to everyone at the same time on hot plates. A beautiful and welcoming location for a bite to eat with a diverse group of people. I was there with a group of more than 20 people. The nice thing about this concept is that you can order something tasty that you see coming out of the kitchen yourself during your next round. There are also so many delicious dishes... Our children lost interest a little earlier and then enjoyed the dessert buffet. That is possible here too. The service was quick and friendly. I think you will see us back here again!

If I may give one more tip: less than 20% of people in the Netherlands smoke these days, and in 25 years that will be ZERO. The stench and stench of cigarettes hung deep into the hallway, even in the restaurant. Put those ashtrays (much) far(ther) away from the entrance! Preferably put them completely outside the premises; schools and hospitals do that too. In terms of presentation, the dishes would not look out of place in a Michelin-starred restaurant, and that is genuinely an achievement with this concept. I suspect it is one of the best value-for-money restaurants in the Netherlands. The salmon sashimi, oh how delicious that is, and then the tuna especially as well. Warm salmon as a main course and once the tenderloin steak. Fresh fries on the side.. Yummy. Anything else to note? Very minimal things, does not detract from what was stated above. Don't be so fussy about a carafe of tap water, and check afterwards if enough wine was ordered. I understand that you wouldn't serve this quality food if people were drinking free tap water with it all evening, but watch out for the reverse. And especially if you visit often, it is slightly annoying that your host(ess) asks if you come here often.. They could have quickly seen that in the computer.. But none of this detracts from a sincere compliment!
