Great food. Busy moving. Lovely people , the owners. Certainty worth a visit.

After discovering Chibog, we became regulars and have since returned several times. The food is always fantastic: made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the dishes are clearly prepared with care and love. There's plenty of choice for both vegetarians and meat eaters. The welcome from the host and hostess (who also prepare the meals) is very hospitable and friendly. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to eat well in a pleasant, intimate setting.

Chibog Toko is a true discovery! The homemade boba is addictively delicious – perfectly chewy and made with love. The dishes are also incredibly fresh and flavorful. You can taste the care and passion behind the cooking. Authentic, warm, and always served with a smile. Definitely a place I'll be back!

My girlfriend and I have been to many eateries over the years and we were generally very happy with our experience at Chibog. The man who served us was super nice and hospitable, the atmosphere was cozy and it really felt like a hidden gem. The food was also delicious. If you compare it to, for example, the Amazing Oriental supermarket, we would say that the quality of the meat is better, although you do get a little less on your bread. We highly recommend the eggplant sandwich and the Korean garlic chicken pieces!

this restaurant is called a fusion restaurant but there is a lot wrong! the allergy information was lacking which led to a very bad experience! there is no culinary added value (fusion) to be found, because it is a hodgepodge of international dishes in the so-called rice table that were often not at all successful. mushy shrimps, there were extremely salty dishes, there was little pleasure in the food to be experienced. they just do whatever, there is hardly anything I could recommend here!

Delicious food served with a smile. We had almost everything that they offered, including their famous adobo. Don't miss their persian dishes and the ube dessert. We'll return!

What a discovery! My sister and I went here for lunch. Chibog really managed to surprise us with original and tasty dishes. The concept where you can combine all dishes works perfectly. An absolute must is the aubergine with tofu; soft, full and perfectly seasoned. Every dish we tasted had its own surprising twist. The cooking is clearly done with care and creativity. The flavours are refined and innovative. We will definitely come back!

Those who are craving for Asian fusion, this is the best on my top tier. My husband and I came all the way from Alkmaar just to eat here and enjoyed our favourite from their menu . Their Adobo and Halo halo is the best in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 . We will definitely be a regular guest.

My husband and I were happy to find a restaurant still open around 7:30pm in Haarlem. The food was excellent, the atmosphere comfortable, and the staff attentive. We shared the rice table, which came with rice and noodles and a variety of meat and vegetable tastings. This menu provided a great variety of flavors. The owners are a Filipino lady and Iranian gentleman and they are very sweet.

I've heard about the "boodle fight" at Chibog Oriental Fusion, so I decided to join in and check what the hype was about, and I was not disappointed. All the food was exceptional and included a wide range of Filipino dishes such as grilled meats, seafood, vegetables, and fruits -- all presented beautifully on a spread of banana leaves. Utensils were set aside, and everyone digs in with their gloved hands. It was a delightful experience from start to finish. Highly recommended for food enthusiasts!

We zochten naar een plek voor de lunch en vonden Chibog. De vriendelijke eigenaren stelden een rijsttafel voor en gingen op al onze wensen (vlees/vegetarisch, pittig /minder pittig) in. Het eten was heerlijk en de atmosfeer heel prettig . De prijs-kwaliteit-verhouding is top. Een bezoek waard!

Best place of asian homemade food in Haarlem. We found it by chance and we were very surprised. The man who works there was super kind and explained to me everything I needed to know to choose the best option. My father doesn't normally like to try new food but here he enjoyed the food a lot so it was the best decision to come here to eat. The food was delicious and the bubble tea was also very good. I totally recommend it.

We happened to find this restaurant by chance. We were 2 couples and ordered the rice menue which contained several different delicious dishes, rice, noodles, salads etc. From different asian countries. We all enjoyed our food and the service. Excellent experience.

Went there with my daughter yesterday. One of the best food experiences in Haarlem. Upon entering this little restaurant, i didn't expect much. It gave the vibe of a deli. The owners were super nice and ready available to accommodate my curiosity about their menu. They helped my daughter and I, make our food selection. And when the food was served we were beyond impressed by the quality and taste. Super nice and friendly owners, amazing food - needless to say we just discovered our favorite spot in Haarlem and will become regulars here.

The Chibog is great. My family and I had dinner here yesterday and it was absolutely fantastic. Ate yesterday and it was really great! Super friendly people, delicious food and at the rice table you just get a selection of everything they have at that moment. Extra rice/noodles no problem. The location is just off the beaten track, so be sure to walk around the block to visit here.

Picked up a delicious meal tonight. Chosen for Iranian dishes such as saffron rice, saffron chicken and eggplant in tomato sauce. Really delicious! You can approach it as you would at the store: 1 base and then 1x vegetables and 2x meat or vice versa. Or individual dishes, whatever you want. Everything was explained and I was also allowed to taste the spiciness. Really very attentive and the spiciness was good. We will definitely come here again.

Amazing food by the nicest people! You can choose different dishes to try from and they were all really well seasoned and textured. It’s not just filipino dishes, but they had iranian and korean dishes too. We’re from New York and honestly was better than the filipino food there. Very good value, a must visit in Haarlem!

The very friendly host is from Iran, his wife from the Philippines, the dishes have a delicious variety of Asian flavors. The eatery/shop is not located directly in the loop, because in a quiet side street of the Gierstraat and Grote Houtstraat, but it is certainly worth being discovered by a larger audience!

Something fun! This is really a Hidden Gem in the center of Haarlem to eat authentic food: Indonesian, Afghani and Filipino etc. Very nice people. Delicious flavors. The eggplant dish was really so tasty😍 Unfortunately a photo of empty plates, but that says enough, right? Three tables inside and a bench outside. You can also take home delicious products from their shop. I will definitely come back here!

For a moment we thought we were wrong, because a wide range of oriental products beamed towards us. But after the warm welcome by Ramin and Eva we immediately felt welcome. Ramin effortlessly convinced us to choose the rice table. And a little later we enjoyed a great, and very affordable meal. Chibog = your new favorite shop. Asked for top 3 sandwiches. Approx. 6 eu per sandwich. So so delicious. From Korean chicken to Iranian minced meat with cinnamon or Adobo pork. Run by an Iranian man and a Filipino woman who can cook very well. There are 2 seating areas, a small cold room, bubble milk tea corner (wide choice), shelving unit with food and some eating and cooking items.

💯 During a short detour to Zandvoort from Amsterdam, I craved Filipino cuisine and found the perfect spot at Chibog. This cozy eatery, owned by a warm and welcoming Filipina and Iranian couple, offers delicious food presented in a charming karenderia style. I particularly enjoyed the addition of a flavorful Iranian dish to the menu. Chibog is also a one-stop mini-mart for anyone missing Filipino delicacies. The highlight of my summer visit was definitely the halo-halo perfect to be enjoyed with good conversations – a must-try! 🍻 🚀

As a New Yorker I’m always searching for new food experiences and I came across this cute family owned Asian fusion restaurant. The combo meal was delicious and served in the most appetizing way. I loved the rice noodles and eggplant. They switch dishes throughout the week. The owners are super friendly and the atmosphere reminded me of home. I’d definitely be back :)

We came across Chibog by accident but boy, were we ever glad we did. If you want to eat your way across East Asia, trying different foods from Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, China and Korea, this is the place for you. Chef Eva cooks the food to perfection with just the right balance of spice. There's even a nod to her husband's Ramin country of origin Iran with some dishes. The presentation is lovely and everything made and done with love. We had rijsttafel which is a selection of all available dishes. That's only available to eat in but Chibog does a roaring take out trade as well. Be sure to stop by - you won't be disappointed.

If I could have given a higher number of stars for the service and food, I would have. A very sweet family that makes their food with passion. We ate inside and ordered 2x combi B, for me with only vegetables as a vegetarian person. Really enjoyed the various dishes that were served. Everything eggplant, always awesome.
