⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This burger place is absolutely fantastic! The burgers are juicy, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor, easily some of the best I’ve ever had. What truly makes this spot stand out, though, is the incredible staff. They are so sweet, attentive, and welcoming, making you feel like a valued guest from the moment you walk in.

Consider this an official record.. The Netherlands 99% of the time has terrible burgers. Processed meat taste almost everytime. Grillinginthename is one of those Rare but powerful exceptions. The burger is well made, the various combinations of toppings you can get are well imagined, and the owners are super cool. They arent in the brewery's kitchen everyday but when they are its worth stopping by to grab a bite to eat with a delicious beer. Keep up the good work and keep showing this country what a REAL BURGER IS.

Best burger I've had in a long time. Meat, sauce and filling all perfectly balanced and work great together. We especially liked the pickles, which tasted like they were home made. Definitely coming back!

I discovered this restaurant on Google Maps while looking for a burger joint. The shop isn't visible at first glance, there's a logo of yours hanging outside at the entrance, so I recognized it. You have to go past the bar at the back and you can order from a window in the wall. The burger I ordered had feta on the inside & very crispy bacon. The patty was medium rare. I would say perfect! This is how a burger should be. It was made with a lot of love and was very tasty. This is how I imagine a burger. If you are in Haarlem you should definitely visit this restaurant. The place was also very inviting, it was a very relaxed atmosphere to be there. I would love to come by again. Well done! :D

Wow what a find! Looked for decent places to eat and boy we definitely found it! The burger was just fantastic. I have officially crowned it as the best burger I have ever eaten - hands down. It’s situated in a lovely little craft beer pub which is very cosy with a great atmosphere. I can’t wait to visit again when we are over next. 10 out of 10

Very tasty burger, freshly made and friendly staff. Self Service, so you have to order your burger at the counter and you can order your drink from a large selection of tap beers including Uitlje brewery, also at a counter. Nice concept. Furthermore, a small location, could use less light.

10/10 - do recommend! Really good burger, I had the Down Rodeo and the candied bacon and homemade bbq sauce were superb! If you are in Haarlem, you need to eat here!

Big burgers with quality meat and good toppings. Order at a little window at the back of the bar (buy drinks separately at the bar—limited selection of nonalcoholic options). Service was fast and friendly. Good place if you’re craving a burger but don’t want to resort to fast food.

Travis is the man. Proper, real American burgers. 80/20 mix, toasted buns, all the fixings. The best meal we’ve had in the country for our two week visit. Go here! See hours and menu attached

This review is long over due...While visiting from the US I came upon this hidden freaking gem and it was easily one of, if not the very best burgers I've ever had anywhere! I had the down rodeo and the housemade BBQ sauce was kickass too! Travis and his wife were amazing to talk to too!...hope the festival y'all were going to the next day was awesome! Hope to be back sometime sooner than later!

Like the other Americans who commented, this is an effing fantastic burger. Easily the best in the Netherlands, and the closest you'll get to a REAL hamburger without actually going to the US. And Travis is masterful at not only his specials, and the names, but is totally dedicated to perfection. It's just in his soul. If you can't decide, get the one with the feta and bacon. It'll make you cry, it's so good.

Easily the best burgers in Haarlem! In fact, I can't remember having a better burger anywhere (I am from the US, so I have had many...). Travis (the owner/chef) is really passionate about food, and specifically about bringing american flovors made with love and attention to detail to international/Dutch palettes. He makes almost all of his own ingredients (pickled vegetables, sauces, candied bacon, etc.) and you can taste the difference. Every time I go, I am reminded of flavors from home that I just haven't been able to get anywhere else. If you haven't, you need to try it!

I tried burgers in US, East coast, West coast… what can I say, Travis beats them all! If you are up for a wonderful juicy smoky burger (with a twist if you like it this way!), that’s your place to go in Haarlem!

Our go-to spot for a burger in Haarlem! We haven't eaten burgers as much in NL since we moved here from the US because frankly... they're not as good as we are used to. So we were super happy to find this place and meet the American chef who makes them just like we remember!
