Sometimes you can get lucky and stumble upon a real gem. We stopped to see if there was a table for two, luckily there was one available. We were met with great friendliness and willingness to serve. The food was so tasty and well prepared. Both the starters and the main course were superb. Service was fast, professional and very friendly. Nancy is highly recommended!

What a lovely place to eat! The owner is very hospitable, and the dishes are surprisingly delicious. Delicious wine at a good price. The price-quality ratio is excellent. The atmosphere is also pleasant; you really feel at ease. We start with house olives and a carafe of water. Afterward, you can browse the menu at your leisure. And when we paid, we received a delicious house liqueur. Highly recommended; we walked there especially from the city center during our Haarlem city break.

Small brasserie. Carpaccio is supreme. Sardines were lovely Prawns were huge.

The biggest problem is the small tables. Chairs are not good if you have back problems.

We had dinner here with four people and absolutely loved it! Such a cozy little place with a lot of charm and attention to detail. The food was honestly amazing – fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. You can really tell the kitchen cares. The service was super friendly and made us feel right at home. All in all, a great evening with fantastic food – we’ll definitely be back!

Not sure why I never left a review before, but this is definitely one of my most favorite places in the Netherlands. None of the dishes ever disappoints, very cozy atmosphere, and very kind and polite staff. Personally prefer it for dinners, but lunch is also amazing, and of course nothing could beat the bottomless brunch from the past.

We had a great evening at Nancy’s. The food was delicious!! And the service was top notch. Our dog would give more than 5 stars if he could; he was spoiled with treats and got lots of attention. The steak is a must try. Perfectly prepared. The restaurant itself is very cozy. The whole experience was phenomenal. We will definitely be back.

The strength of a united family can create something magical. A beautiful environment where you can eat delicious and refined food, fresh products and prepared with care. You can enjoy outdoor tables on sunny days, well-kept interior, very kind and attentive staff.

It was great I have never eaten such delicious meat!!! And you get more than expected it is definitely recommended!! I would say what are you waiting for take your girlfriend/friends with you, and you will feel at home.

Great food in a neighborhood spot with incredibly exciting flavors, good portions. The chef obviously has a ton of skill. Any of the raw fish or slow cooked meats are a great bet, and the orangecello made in-house was *chefs kiss*.

As always, we enjoyed the delicious and surprising dishes. Together with the hospitable service, this always ensures a pleasant experience! Highly recommended!

We happened to be in the neighborhood today and decided to have dinner at Nancy's. The food was excellent—both the boneless ribs and the cauliflower were cooked to perfection. The dessert (sticky toffee cake) was also great. Additionally the service was outstanding. We had our two-year-old daughter with us, and the staff were incredibly attentive, making sure we were comfortable throughout. Probably the best service we've experienced so far in the Netherlands.

Very cosy restaurant. Had starters of grilled octopus and pointed cabbage. Both goooood; the cabbage was simple and yet awesome. Had the pork belly and the steak&sauerkraut as mains, it’s really good Friendly, English speaking, would return to dine.

Food was great! I had a chicken sandwich and the grilled octopus as an appetizer! Will definitely go back to try other items off of the menu.

Delicious authentic dishes. Good quality/price ratio The only downside is that they did not take reservation information into account. If a pregnancy is reported there, it would be nice if you did not have to indicate this again several times during your visit. Amuse that a pregnant woman is not allowed to eat does not help.

The food was incredibly delicious as always. However the service was not good tonight. We had to ask the waitress many times for anything that we needed as she kept forgetting. I usually love this restaurant so I was disappointed to experience this tonight.

Loved it! I discovered Nancy's a couple of years ago but never got the opportunity to go until 2 weeks ago. And what a delight it was. First impression walking in was amazing, hit by unique decor. The staff are very nice and friendly. The menu is short which for me is a plus as I never know what to choose because I want everything. Though in saying that I also wanted more than half of the lunch dishes out of 7 I think there are. And thus this made me return a second time 2 weeks later. The food was amazing. Very original combinations but wow did they hit the spot. I very rarely, pretty much never leave reviews but Nancy's is so worth it, I had to.

The food was great, delicious vegetarian starters too. The eggplant is great, but the pointed cabbage was also great! The service was nice, attentive and fast and the price/quality ratio is excellent. The only thing we think is a downside is the acoustics. It was fully booked and it was very noisy inside.

We had a wonderful meal at Nancy's yesterday (5-2-2025). This is the pace to be. Cozy atmosphere, super friendly service and delicious dishes. This was the second time we were there and it was great twice! If I lived in Haarlem, I would definitely eat at your place every week. Highly recommended!

Hidden gem. It's been a while since we've been here (3 times now) Definitely recommended! You will receive a warm welcome and the food is always very tasty without being incredibly expensive. I would describe the atmosphere as a living room atmosphere. Make sure to make a reservation, because it is almost always completely full!

Had a delicious meal at the cozy (almost living room-like) Nancy's Haarlem with a group of 12 people. It was very nice that we could just eat à la carte and the dishes arrived quickly. Creative and varied menu, with sufficient vegetarian and vegan options. The service was smooth and friendly. The dishes tasted as good as they looked. Highly recommended. Restaurant is located in the middle of a residential area, free parking in the street or at the AH.

This is one of the best, if not THE best, restaurants in Haarlem. The food was amazing and creative, the staff were extremely helpful and the ambience was lovely. We will most definitely return!

Our first time at Nancy’s came with a bit of pressure in having our Wedding lunch there, but Irene and team were incredible - service from Irene was so sweet and attentive, the food went down a storm and everyone left very merry on a special day. Atmosphere and help from staff are excellent. This also applies to the kitchen. Due to the small space it quickly becomes a bit noisy. This can sometimes be annoying.

A cozy and romantic atmosphere coupled with amazingly attentive staff, and most importantly delicious food. We tried a variety of dishes, the duck with noodles in xo sauce, the grilled sardines and the bavette steak. Everything was extraordinary!

I know how to make delicious food here! Both the burrata and the bafette were very tasty and well prepared. The service is very fast at the table, which is nice, and sometimes we would have liked it if there was a little more peace and quiet, but it was also busy. It is beautifully decorated and my girlfriend's gluten allergy was taken into account. Thank you!

The food was varied and very delicious, very elaborate dishes with a lot of flavour. Friendly and very attentive service Very nice and charming place. The price is very correct, not only for the Netherlands, even in Spain it would be reasonable. It's the first time I've left a tip in the country!!! It catches me far from my home in Spain and it's a shame, because I would like to go often.

We went for dinner, a family of 4, and we had an incredible dinner. The food was very varied and delicious, dishes very prepared and with a lot of detail. The service was magnificent, and the waitresses were very friendly and generous. A very cozy place. We would repeat without a doubt!!!

Amazing restaurant, with very creative, high quality food. The starters were all good, but the labneh deserves special mention. The main courses were also all great. The Nasi Rames had the best tofu I ever had, and probably also the best tempeh. The place is not too big, with nice, warm atmosphere. The staff is very friendly.

The dishes have good combinations of flavors and are good in quantity. We especially loved the starters and the bread served with them! The service was very attentive and was often at our table before we even knew that we wanted to order something. In addition, very reasonable prices mean that we will definitely eat at this restaurant more often!

Second time here and everything was beautiful. The boy serving us wore a very friendly smile. We were also moved to outside when there was vacancies so we could enjoy the amazing breeze. We were impressed for another time by the creativity in the fusion menu. You can tell it’s not just putting things together by trying to bring more brilliance to one another. We love the tartar and the mussels the most. The only thing, and it’s very minor, is that we were constantly checked by all the staff how was the food. It’s very kind and welcoming (like we were at someone’s home) for sure but maybe a couple times less would be better.
