We had a delicious meal here yesterday. There is a warm, homey atmosphere, the food was very tasty and unique, and the service was very friendly and quick.

Had a lovely dinner with my partner on a Monday evening. It wasn't busy, nor quiet. There is a relaxed living room-style atmosphere and good acoustics. No rushed staff, which contributes to the relaxed setting. The staff is friendly. The food offered good value for money (except for the aubergine, €13.50 for half an aubergine!). I had a fish dish which was a fairly small portion; my partner had a tri-tip steak which was a large portion for her. The wines were also fine in terms of price/quality. (Personally) being critical, points for improvement: - Bread roll with butter beforehand; the bread was not warm and the butter was cold, making it difficult to spread. We had to ask for a plate and salt for the bread rolls & butter. It would be handy/nice if this were served immediately. - Water is neatly placed on the table upon arrival, but there is no option, or at least not offered, to choose sparkling water. - Table next to the toilet door; toilet odors are occasionally noticeable; I personally would not seat customers here.

Hidden gem in Haarlem! We’ve just returned from Nancy’s Haarlem, and as an Italian-Argentinian-Dutch family, we’re already looking forward to our next visit. And there are plenty of reasons to come back: It’s a lovely, cosy restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere and incredibly welcoming staff. You could almost forget about the food, but that would be a shame, because it was excellent. We enjoyed delicious starters including redfish ceviche and Argentinian prawns, followed by tri-tip steak and Paccheri alla Vodka pasta for our mains. Our 1.5-year-old son was wonderfully looked after too: they prepared him some chicken, cucumber and a delicious cauliflower purée, even though it wasn’t on the menu. Add a great bottle of wine (a 2021 Barolo), Negronis and non-alcoholic drinks, plus a few unexpected treats from the house, and it made for a wonderful evening. Grazie mille, we’ll definitely be back!

Relatively unknown neighborhood restaurant, a little gem in North Haarlem. Reasonable prices. The son is the chef and the mother and others handle the service, I believe. Eaten there 3 times, but definitely going back!

We stopped by Nancy's later in the evening on a warm night in July and sat outside on their patio. I really enjoyed my time at the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My sons and I ordered the burger with chicken and fries which we all found very tasty. The honey sauce they top the burger with us quite nice. My mother ordered the Sea Bass and my wife had the Vietnamese Noodles. They both enjoyed their meals but my mother mentioned the Sea Bass a few times afterwards, so she particlarly enjoyed it. I paired the burger with a Brouwer'ijt Wit Beer which was quite nice. Highly recommended!

If I could give this place more stars I would! Cute setting, indoors and outside. It's one of those places where you look at the menu and you just want to order literally everything. We had a chat with the chef and he told us he learned how to make his falafel in Lebanon.. the best falafel ever, no joke! All the dishes we ordered were so so good! Food was so good my friend started dating the chef ;)

We ate here today and everything was delicious. The starters were really superb; we had the tempura shrimp, chicken wings, carpaccio, and tacos, and everything was wonderful. Also good cocktails and wine, and super friendly service. Definitely worth a repeat visit!

The seasoning, presentation, and cooking time were all perfect, and you could tell the chef's skill from the first bite. Every dish is something you can only taste here. It's a casual restaurant, so you can order several dishes and share them. The service is friendly and attentive, and the interior design is tasteful. It's a really great place. I want to go again.

After reading the reviews, we made the pilgrimage from the tourist area of Haarlem after a day of taking in the sites. We were famished. I started with a mango chili lemonade with a tajin rim. TASTY! Next our starters of Caesar salad (my husband said best dressing he has had in a long time ) and the Gambas tempuras were a hint of what was to come. Textures, subtle yet tasty pops of flavors ... yumm. Our mains were tri tip with mash and roasted root veggies and a butter fish with baby bok choy, sticky rice and a delightful sauce with a slight coconut Thai flavor. Both mains were accompanied by recommended red and white wines. Both complimented the dishes perfectly. I would be remiss if I didn't include praise for the house. The gentlemen working tonight were top notch with their suggestions and service. Bravo!

Food was above average but not particularly good. Chicken tacos were not really tacos, just a heap of densely-battered and too-sweet chicken obscuring something underneath. Pork tacos were better but much too salty. The dip with “puffed paprika” was nice except it was roasted and not puffed. The flatbread was average - store bought and not freshly made. The filet of fish was good and interesting but lacking salt. The sticky toffee pudding was missing ice cream to cut through the richness. Staff were nice enough. Atmosphere is beautiful. Would not return, but it’s worth trying once - maybe you’ll have better luck!

After 5pm you must order a whole dinner. I tried to reserve for drinks and sharing plates at 5.15pm on a weekday and my reservation was rejected. Such a shame, would have liked to try this place out and maybe make it our regular after work.

An outstanding experience. The food is Indonesian-inspired excellence. The cocktails are expertly crafted. The decor is charming, chic, and cozy. The music playlist will have you jamming as well. The level of service is spectacular, but the consistency of quality with every dish was impressive. Everything has such a high level of attention that you’ll feel like you have ordered at a Michelin-starred restaurant. Amazing! Great place for those special moments or celebrations. This is a rare gem in Haarlem and a true treat when you find it. Enjoy and tell your friends.

The little restaurant is located in a residential area in North Haarlem. We visited here for the first time; the service is very attentive and friendly, and the food is tasty too, although some dishes have a unique twist. For example, chicken wings with a sort of blue cheese flavor were a bit too strong for me. The nasi rames is highly recommended, and the cod cheeks are delicious. Otherwise, the food is fine; we had a great evening. 👍

We ate here for the second time and it was a pleasant experience once again. The dishes are well-composed and very well prepared, with delicious flavors. The service is excellent: attentive, professional, and they know exactly what is going on. You don't see that everywhere in the hospitality industry these days. Definitely worth it! Minor downside: The tables are quite close together and a bit cramped, and the chairs are not very comfortable. For us, that detracts somewhat from the overall experience, but there will certainly be guests who actually find that cozy.

We had a delicious meal at Nancy's. Both starters were excellent, and both main courses were too. The dessert was sublime. A minor point: I found the food just a little too salty. I don't eat much salt, so that is partly my fault, but for me, it could have been just a bit less. The service was very good: friendly, fast, and accurate. We only found the tables and chairs a bit disappointing. Wooden school chairs that weren't comfortable. At such a good restaurant, I expect a bit more quality. But that didn't spoil the fun, because we will definitely be back!

One of the best meals I've had in Haarlem. The flavors of all the dishes were very unique, delicious and plentiful. The steak, chicken taco and aubergine were a standout. Can not wait to be back!

First time at Nancy's. We both ordered spare ribs as an appetizer. They weren't warm and were overcooked, so they fell off the bone. And I got less than my partner :( But then we got the chicken burgers with blue cheese sauce. What a perfect flavor combination. The best burgers we've ever had. We'll be back soon for those. The bread pudding with warm caramel sauce and coconut ice cream was surprisingly a very large portion and tasted fantastic. Next time we'll skip the spare ribs, and then it'll be a 100/10.

Easily the best restaurant in Haarlem. High quality and creative dishes that merge the best flavors from different countries. The price is fair and staff is warm and friendly which makes the experience even nicer. A true gem hidden away from the center!

We've been here several times now, and it doesn't matter what you order, everything is truly ama-zing! Besides the delicious food, the wines are also wonderful, and the people who work here are incredibly friendly. It's a fantastic place where we've been many times and will definitely return!

Update: finally got some photos.... I needed to take photos for you but I was too busy eating and drinking myself into a stupor of happiness, joy and relaxation. It's so chill and so good. Definitely book if you're keen to check it out as it's been open a week and is busy already - walk ins should be able to get a table from what I saw. It's a simple menu, fairly priced and exquisite (I mean the chef makes his own mustard ffs). So tasty, all of it! We're booked for the father's day tasting breakfast and can't wait. So I've added some photos from their instagram to make up for not taking them myself. I'll try to remember to take photos next time rather than just scoff my face.

We had lunch here on Saturday before going to the cinema, and it was absolutely fantastic! Delicious food, friendly service, and a cozy, homey atmosphere. A new menu every two weeks...in short, we'll definitely be back! Oh, and the chicken market deal on Thursday is highly recommended!
