What terrible service! Grumpy man behind the counter with a nonsense attitude! I received the wrong dish. I called right away, but because I'd driven on to visit family, I couldn't exchange it right away. I agreed over the phone that I could come back later in the week. I arrived today, and the man wanted me to take the wrong dish from LAST WEEK?! Of course, I didn't save it, but he didn't see any need to do anything with it either. Ridiculous service for a regular customer who's now lost him.

This is and remains a top restaurant, the best Chinese in Purmerend and surroundings.

My brother ordered a vegetarian dish, and it contained egg. He had asked for a new dish and the manager (on the phone) started a discussion and did not let him finish, including scolding him with the words “big mouth”. My brother tried to continue talking but the manager hung up. Very bad service, disrespectful.

Chicken satay were large unseasoned pieces of just cooked chicken. Satay sauce no taste. Everything very salty and the meat no taste. The Ajam Pangang was tasty. Disappointment.

Where the mass disappears, quality resurfaces. Coming home between plates of high-quality foe yong hai, a tender fried babi pangang, well-rounded koe loe kai. A heated towel and then back into the cold.

Classic Chinese-Indian restaurant, as you see them less and less. Performs an excellent babi pangang in a surprisingly atmospheric setting (you wouldn't expect it in a Purmerend shopping center). Operation adequate.

You can eat very well here and it was excellent, it is highly recommended to go.

I don't understand all those positive reviews and the crowds there. Yesterday I got noodles with chicken satay. The noodles were mealy and tasteless, contained almost no vegetables, a container full of white strings with an egg and 2 slices of shoulder ham. The satay had no taste of just some unsalted chicken in a pile of bland peanut sauce. The service was nice and you get something to drink while waiting. That's what the one star is for.

In my opinion the best Chinese Indian restaurant in Purmerend!!! My parents already got food here 30+ years ago and I regularly do too. Nice staff and great food. It is well hidden behind the Leeuwerikplein, but those in the know know where to find it.

For us the best Chinese ever. Mainly experience with takeaway. Good taste and large portions. We also had a home buffet once for a birthday. Ordered everything from the takeaway menu, with the help and tips of the owner and it was perfect. No extra costs for delivery and dishes, etc. Top. The spring roll deserves special mention, well and variedly filled and a normal amount of bean sprouts. Very tasty.

We will never book at this restaurant again. Have in October!!! Already reserved for 6 adults and 3 children for Boxing Day at 4:45 PM. We even went to the restaurant for this, so that we could be sure of the reservation. It was explicitly stated that we wanted to sit in the alcove at the back of the restaurant, so that other guests would not be bothered by the children. Upon arrival it turned out that the reservation had gone wrong. We could only eat at 7:30 PM. There you are with 3 small children at Christmas. It was also suggested that it was our fault. Really too crazy for words. Never again. You have lost a regular customer who always came to eat with you during the holidays. All praise for JADE IN MONNICKENDAM. They prepared for us so that we still had a truly delicious and unforgettable dinner with the children! JADE in MONNICKENDAM is a top restaurant!
