Chinees-Indisch Restaurant Lotus in Wervershoof

Tried to call today to order but didn't answer. It took a long time to order; it was very busy and took unnecessarily long. Ordered the monthly menu, which was very small and the taste was bland. No, we won't be ordering from here again; the quality has deteriorated.

The original Chinese food was excellent, I loved it. The staff were very kind, extremely hospitable and it's a friendly restaurant. Congratulations.

We ordered Tsun Ka Fook. A delicious, extensive menu. Thanks for the tasty food and hospitality! I will definitely come back here again.

We had a delicious meal here, a very nice host and very reasonable prices. It is indeed a pity that there weren't more guests; that would have been more sociable.

We ate here together; the spring rolls were not filled. The tomato soup could be sweeter. We had the menu for 38.00 for 2 people. This was reasonable. The fruit with the ice cream was spoiled. The tables / placemats were dirty and old. The paper placemats are old and "cleaned," making them look terrible!

It is more suitable as a takeaway restaurant; what you order is fine, but the restaurant does not invite you to dine in comfortably. With takeaway, your order is often ready within 20 minutes. It seems to me that they could better set up the restaurant as a waiting area for people coming to pick up their order and wanting to have a drink in the meantime, since the current space is cramped.

The atmosphere is awful, the tables are dirty, and so is the toilet. The food is expensive for what you get. We had to pay for coffee separately, even though it was included in the menu.

It is high time that the smart-aleck lady at the takeaway counter learned to listen, and a customer service course wouldn't hurt either! (Using informal address... not polite.) I will give a tip: stop charging separately for those plastic containers. Just include this in the price on the price list. And: the price list outside is different from the one on the counter. It's weird. But anyway... that submissive behavior of being forced to charge extra for 'this and that'. Just stop doing that. It is confusing and leads to unnecessary arguments. And... the food wasn't tasty either. And the prawn crackers (which I clearly ordered) weren't included. In short: there is work to be done. It was the last time for me, in any case.

I ordered food without mushrooms because my husband has allergies and we come home and the meat and mince are all mushrooms in it. I actually think that's quite bad so I give it a score 1

Very friendly and welcoming waitress. The food is a bit standard, with a menu that I think has been around for 10 years, hence the reasonable price. In 2024, you'd pay €1.80 for a Coke. The food is good, but the aftermath is less so, I'd say.

It looks like a mess when you are inside, nothing has changed after the corona period as you can only pick up. Despite that, the food is great and has been for years, no other Chinese restaurant in the area comes close in my experience

This is a great restaurant with delicious food for takeaway. There's never really anyone inside and it doesn't look inviting. When you order, you hope that you get the young man on the phone because he understands you and speaks good Dutch. Grandma doesn't understand it much.

The food was good and very plentiful. There was a German map. The staff was very friendly. The prices were cheap for what you get. Unfortunately it's not enough for 5 stars because the ambience didn't entirely convince me and the food was good, but nothing more. But we would still like to eat here again. thanks for the evening

This is the third year we have eaten there again. The service was very friendly, as always. The food was again very tasty. What was somewhat unusual was that we had to pay an additional 50 cents to take away the rest of the food.

The food is great, as is the friendly staff. The dining room is quite dark and could use a spruce up - but the great food makes up for it, hence 5 stars.

Wir hatten das cordon bleu mit Pommes und Bratkartoffeln. Es gab sogar leckeres Weißbrot mit Kräuterbutter vor dem Essen. Uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. PERSONAL war auch sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir können es nur empfehlen. 👍😋

Das Ambiente war augenscheinlich ohne Wohlfühlfaktor. Das Essen war sehr lecker, der Kellner höflich.

Heerlijk eten, of je in het restaurant eet of het haalt, het is altijd lekker. Zeer vriendelijke bediening ook!

Gewoon lekker gegeten, gaat soms wat klungelig, maar bediening is heel aardig.

Een uiterst vriendelijke bediening en heerlijke gerechten af te halen. De smaak is prima en je bent er snel klaar.

Vanavond voor het eerst sinds 2 jaar weer een keer eten gehaald, dat was opnieuw geen succes. We misten bij thuiskomst de satesaus terwijl daar voor betaald is. Bami was "oud" van smaak. Wel een goede krokante loempia! Jammer maar wij bestellen weer elders.

Is een hele goeie chinees met afhalen.

Als restaurant niet veel ambiance (niet vreemd voor een Chinees restaurant). Eten was goed, had iets pittiger verwacht.

Wij zijn altijd tevreden. Halen hier regelmatig Chinees af.

Ze hebben hier erg lekkere gerechten voor een goede prijs. De tomatensoep is verrukkelijk.

Ich muss ehrlich sagen das von aussehen sehende Gebäude hat meine Erwartungen dramatisch runtergeschraubt....aber als wir in das Gebäude gingen wurden wir sehr Herzlich empfangen!.... und wir durften trotz Reservierung uns den Tisch aussuchen!! Als wir uns für einen Tisch entschieden haben wurden uns keine Minute später die Speisekarten gebracht und da für und vieles neu war mussten wir mehrere male nachfragen was das den sei oder was dabei ist und auf unsere fragen wurde uns auf jedes neue sehr freundlich geantwortet. Als wir uns schließlich für unsere Speisen Entschieden haben waren wir/ich sehr überrascht auf die MENGE das hätte locker!!! für zwei wenn nicht sogar drei Personen gereicht!! Ich habe mich für die Chinesische Nudeln mit Hühnchenfleisch entschieden und das kann ich nur weiter empfehlen!!! Für meinen Geschmack war Zuviel Gemüse drinnen aber das ist Geschmacksache! Im großen und ganzen kann ich das Restaurant nur Herzlich weiter empfehlen!!!!!!!

Heute waren wir in dem , von außen, unscheinbaren Lokal.... drinnen aber wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen!!!!! Sofort kam die liebenswerte Bedienung an unseren Tisch....zuvorkommend hat sie uns die fremden Speisen erklärt....die Getränke würden rasch zu uns an den Tisch gebracht.....als die Gerichte kamen waren wir über die Größe der Portionen sehr überrascht....jedes der Essen hätte locker für 2 gereicht 🤔 Auch geschmacklich war es wirklich überzeugend....der Rest, den wir nicht bewältigen konnten, wurde selbstverständlich gerne eingepackt.....alles in allem war es ein wirklich gelungenes Abendessen....sehr zu empfehlen!!!!!!

Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war alles frisch und sehr lecker. Da würde ich jederzeit nochmal hin gehen.

We hebben er nu twee keer gegeten. Veel groenten en alles is vers bereid en uitstekend van smaak. De kwaliteit van het eten behoort echt tot de bovencategorie van chinees eten.

Lekker en goed eten.kom er graag en neemt vaak gasten mee.

Wir haben uns schwer getan hier in der Gegend ein gutes Restaurant zu finden, deshalb haben wir uns hier in das chinesische Restaurant begeben. Das Ambiente ist nicht unbedingt sehr einladend, aber darüber haben wir erstmal hinweg gesehen. Sie hatten eine Karte da, die ins deutsche übersetzt ist, was hilfreich war. Die Speisen waren lecker und in großen Portionen, sodass alle satt geworden sind. Wirklich schade dass hier nicht so viel los war, aber vielleicht lag es auch an der Jahreszeit (Oktober). Wer gut chinesisch essen will und nicht so viel wert auf das Ambiente legt, für den ist das Restaurant absolut zu empfehlen!

Klein restaurantje, aan de buitenkant niet erg aantrekkelijk, van binnen al wat beter. Het eten is heerlijk en de service is goed.
